Abstract

Background: Dental and oral health maintainance is one of the most supporting aspects in healthy paradigm, and it’s a national development strategy to create Indonesia’s Healthy life. Dental and oral health among Indonesian people still needs serious attention. Therefore, dental and oral health maintainance needs to be considered. This study aimed to analyze the theory of Health Belief Model (HBM) consisting of knowledge, environment, perceived barriers, perceived susceptibility, perceived benefits, and cues to action on public awareness in maintaining dental and oral health in Wonokromo and Sawunggaling Subdistrics, Surabaya. Subjects and Method: An observational analytic with a cross sectional research design was conducted at Wonokromo and Sawunggaling Subdistricts, Surabaya, East Java from July to September 2022. A total of 400 people were selected for this study. The dependent variable was awareness in maintaining dental and oral health. The independent variables were knowledge, environment, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived barrier, perceived benefit, and cues to action. The data were analyze using linear regression. Results: Maintaining dental and oral health increased with the environment (b=0.02; p= 0.181), perceived severity (b= 0.01; p= 0.676), perceived benefit (r= 0.007; p= 0.304), and cues to action (r= 0.01; p= 0.181), but statistically not significant. Conclusion: Maintaining dental and oral health increased with environment, perceived severity, perceived, and cues to action, but statistically not significant.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang mendasar dalam layanan kesehatan adalah masalah pembiayaan, untuk itu pemerintah membuat skenario melalui jaminan kesehatan nasional dengan INACBG’s sebagai dasar pengenaan tarif. Pada titik inilah mulai muncul persoalan bagi rumah sakit, dimana banyak layanan kesehatan dan tindakan medis yang diberikan kepada pasien overbudget sehingga diperlukan kendali mutu kendali biaya. Dengan adanya aplikasi kendali mutu kendali biaya (SIIP KEMULIYA) maka dapat dilakukan penelitian apakah setelah aplikasi diimplementasikan berpengaruh terhadap hari perawatan, biaya perawatan dan Waktu tunggu operasi RSUD Dr.Harjono S Ponorogo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh implementasi aplikasi kendali mutu kendali biaya (SIIP KEMULIYA) terhadap biaya perawatan, hari perawatan, dan waktu tunggu operasi pada pasien BPJS dengan diagnosa fraktur femur di RSUD Dr. Harjono S Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitik observasional dengan desain case control. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pasien BPJS Kesehatan kelas 3 dengan diagnosa fraktur fremur dengan diagnosa sekunder anemia pada tahun 2023 – 2024 dan didapatkan jumlah sampel untuk kelompok kasus dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 40 sampel setiap kelompok yang diambil dengan Teknik purposive sampling. Data diambil dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji independent t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh implementasi aplikasi kendali mutu kendali biaya (SIIP KEMULIYA) terhadap biaya perawatan dengan p (2-tailed) sebesar 0,009 dengan perbedaan mean 0.650. Selanjutnya pada hari perawatan terdapat pengaruh implementasi aplikasi kendali mutu kendali biaya (SIIP KEMULIYA) dengan mean -0.425 dan p (2-tailed) 0.011 sebesar. Waktu tunggu operasi terdapat pengaruh implementasi aplikasi kendali mutu kendali biaya (SIIP KEMULIYA) dengan mean -0.350 dan p (2-tailed) 0.030.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas sosialisasi pelaksanaan triase di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Horex Baucau, Timor Leste, terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan memberikan materi berupa diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta media pendukung seperti leaflet dan SOP triase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan, dengan rata-rata skor tes pengetahuan yang meningkat dari 5,5 menjadi 8,5 setelah sosialisasi. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi triase berperan penting dalam memperbaiki pemahaman tenaga kesehatan tentang prosedur triase dan meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam penanganan pasien gawat darurat. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam pelaksanaan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan alat tulis. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar Rumah Sakit Horex Baucau melanjutkan program sosialisasi triase secara berkala dan meningkatkan fasilitas pelatihan untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelayanan IGD di masa depan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bidan memiliki peran strategis dalam memberikan pelayanan kebidanan yang komprehensif, sehingga dituntut untuk senantiasa memperbarui pengetahuan dan keterampilan agar layanan yang diberikan tetap berkualitas, aman, dan sesuai perkembangan ilmu. Salah satu instrumen penting adalah partograf yang berfungsi memantau kemajuan persalinan, mendeteksi dini komplikasi, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan klinis. Namun, penggunaan partograf di Indonesia masih rendah, hanya sekitar 17,7% pada saat rujukan maternal, sehingga turut berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kematian ibu dan bayi akibat perdarahan, eklampsia, dan infeksi. Di Kota Serang, pemanfaatan partograf belum optimal meskipun telah ada berbagai program pelatihan, dan hal ini diperkuat dengan masih rendahnya pemahaman bidan mengenai proses naik level STR serta perpanjangan SIPB yang kini mensyaratkan bukti kompetensi terbaru. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, kegiatan Update Knowledge seluruh ranting IBI Cabang Kota Serang tahun 2025 dilaksanakan pada 50 bidan dengan tahapan workshop partograf, sosialisasi regulasi STR dan SIPB, pendampingan administratif, inovasi media booklet ber-HKI, serta evaluasi menggunakan pretest–posttest dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta (p=0,000), sementara booklet ber-HKI terbukti efektif sebagai media edukasi praktis dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan kompetensi bidan terkait penggunaan partograf serta pemahaman regulasi profesi, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi terhadap mutu pelayanan kebidanan dan keselamatan ibu serta bayi. Program ini diharapkan dapat direplikasi secara berkala di berbagai wilayah dengan dukungan pemerintah dan organisasi profesi agar peningkatan kompetensi bidan dapat berlangsung secara merata dan berkesinambungan. Kata Kunci: Bidan, Partograf, Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR), Surat Izin Praktik Bidan (SIPB).  ABSTRACT Midwives play a highly strategic role in providing comprehensive maternal health services; therefore, they are consistently required to update their knowledge and skills to ensure that the care delivered remains high-quality, safe, and aligned with scientific advancements. One essential instrument is the partograph, which functions to closely monitor the progress of labor, promptly detect complications, and effectively support timely clinical decision-making. However, the utilization of the partograph in Indonesia remains relatively low, recorded at only 17.7% during maternal referrals, thereby contributing to the persistently high maternal and neonatal mortality rates caused by hemorrhage, eclampsia, and infection. In Serang City, the application of the partograph has not yet been fully optimized despite various training programs, and this challenge is further emphasized by the limited understanding of midwives regarding the process of upgrading their Registration Certificate (STR) and renewing their Midwifery Practice License (SIPB), which currently require documented proof of updated competencies. To address these issues, the Update Knowledge program of the Serang City IBI Branch in 2025 was implemented for 50 midwives through a series of activities including a partograph workshop, dissemination of STR and SIPB regulations, administrative mentoring, the development of an HKI-registered booklet as an innovative learning medium, and evaluation using pretest–posttest as well as the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills (p=0.000), while the HKI-registered booklet was proven to be an effective, practical, and sustainable educational tool. Consequently, this program was shown to be highly effective in enhancing midwives’ competencies in utilizing the partograph and understanding professional regulations, while simultaneously contributing to the quality of midwifery services and the safety of mothers and newborns. It is strongly recommended that similar programs be replicated periodically in various regions with the support of government and professional organizations to ensure equitable and continuous improvement of midwives’ competencies. Keywords: Midwife, Partograph, Registration Certificate (STR), Midwifery Practice License (SIPB).

Abstract

Kesehatan kerja dapat dicapai secara optimal jika tiga komponen kesehatan kerja berapa kapasitas dari pekerja, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja dapat berinteraksi secara baik dan serasi. Tujuan tersebut dicapai dengan usaha-usaha preventif, kuratif, dan rehabilitas terhadap penyakit-penyakit atau gangguan-gangguan, kesehatan yang diakibatkan oleh factor pekerjaan, lingkungan kerja serta penyakit umum. Selama tahun 2024 telah dirawat di Poli Fisioterapi Puskesmas Perhentian Luas terbanyak 42 orang penderita low back pain dengan keluhan nyeri punggung yang terdiri dari 33 orang laki-laki dan 4 orang wanita dengan umur pada rentang 16 tahun sampai 65 tahun. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk edukasi dan deteksi dini low back pain bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat pekerja mengenai faktor risiko, gejala awal, serta cara-cara sederhana untuk mencegah dan menangani low back pain secara mandiri. Abstract

Introduction: Medical services are inseparable from the services provided by health workers, especially nurses. The achievement of optimal work effectiveness is an assessment of the effectiveness of nurses' work as an effort to assess nurses' achievements at work. Assessment of work effectiveness in performance indicators is a reliable tool as a control of human resources and productivity, but in fact nurse performance is a problem in all nursing services. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect the effectiveness of nurses' work at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital. Methods: The research design was in the form of observational research using a cross sectional design. The population of all nurses at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital was 212 respondents. The sample in this study was nurses at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital totaling 136 respondents with simple random sampling. Independent variables factor productivity, satisfaction, and competence. Dependent variable of the effectiveness of the nurse's work. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between productivity factors (p = 0.021), satisfaction (p = 0.000), competence (p = 0.000) on the effectiveness of nurses' work. Multivariate analysis shows that the most influential variable on the effectiveness of nurses' work at Taman Husada Bontang Hospital is satisfaction with the significance level of p = 0.000 and B = 0.333. Conclusion: Work effectiveness is needed in improving the quality of services in hospitals, so that improving the quality of human resources must be optimized. Work effectiveness is a deliberate ability to do something better to achieve certain goals by emphasizing compliance at work and relating to work results. So that leaders in hospitals must continue to pay attention to the welfare of nurses to improve the effectiveness of their work in providing excellent health services.

Abstract

Background: Nurse productivity is crucial in determining the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. It directly impacts patient care and hospital operations. The implementation of Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Caring, Diligent) and nurses' competencies are factors that can significantly influence the productivity of nurses. The primary objective of this study is to determine the impact of Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Caring, Diligent) and nurses' competencies on nurses' productivity at Mojowarno Christian Hospital, Jombang, in 2024. The study assesses how applying these factors enhances nurse performance and hospital service efficiency. Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design to examine the relationship between variables at a particular moment. The sample comprises 100 nurses from Mojowarno Christian Hospital, chosen through random sampling. The independent variables include the implementation of Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Care, Diligent) and nurse competencies, while the dependent variable is nurse productivity. Data collection was conducted using observation sheets tested for validity and reliability. Ordinal regression analysis was employed to analyze the data. Results: The results of the ordinal regression analysis showed a P-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of H1. This indicates a significant collective influence of the implementation of Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Caring, Diligent) and nurses' competencies on nurses' productivity. In the partial analysis, the P-value for the Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Care, Diligent) variable was 0.024, less than 0.05, suggesting a significant influence on nurses' productivity. The P-value for nurses' competencies was 0.000, indicating a significant partial effect on productivity. Conclusion: The study concludes that both the implementation of Work Culture (Concise, Neat, Clean, Caring, Diligent) and nurses' competencies have a significant impact on nurses' productivity at Mojowarno Christian Hospital. The results underline the importance of fostering a strong work culture and continuously improving nurses' competencies to enhance productivity and the overall quality of healthcare services. Hospitals should prioritize these factors to ensure efficient and effective care delivery, improving organizational outcomes. Abstract

Rekam medis pasien di Fasilitas Pelayanan Kesehatan mulai beralih menjadi berbasis elektronik sejak diterbitkannya Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan (PMK) nomor 24 tahun 2022 tentang Rekam Medis. Pencatatan Rekam Medis di Puskesmas Sukorame Kediri selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual dan ada sebagian yang dicatat di komputer (hybrid). Konsekuensinya Penyimpanan (Filing) rekam medis membutuhkan tempat atau space lebih di ruang arsip yang terbatas. Ruang arsip yang penuh dapat menyebabkan lamanya pencarian berkas rekam medis, sehingga apabila tidak dapat ditemukan akan terjadi misfile (hilang) dan petugas akan membuat berkas baru untuk pasien lama. Sejauh ini belum ada pelatihan apapun terkait alternatif penerapan rekam medis elektronik (RME) di Puskesmas Sukorame. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut dengan kegiatan brainstorming penerapan alternatif RME menggunakan Google Spreadsheet. Setelah dilakukan brainstorming pada tanggal 12 Januari 2024, petugas administrasi rekam medis dan tenaga Kesehatan lainnya di Puskesmas Sukorame akhirnya memahami urgensi penerapan alternatif RME, hanya saja masih diperlukan rapat internal Puskesmas guna menyusun ulang kebijakan tentang penyelenggaraan RME. Diperlukan waktu, materi, dan sumber daya yang cukup untuk mendukung penerapan alternatif RME di Puskesmas Sukorame.
