Abstract

Repeat analysis is a systematic process to categorize repeated images and determine the causes of repeat, so that repeat can be minimized or eliminated. Radiology Facility at Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital has a repeat percentage of digital images in March to May 2020 of 7.50%, which exceeds the rejection rate limit in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of repeated digital image along with the repeat factors and the efforts made to decrease the repeat rate. The population in this study were all digital images on Computed Radiography that occurred in March to May 2020. The research sample was the number of digital images which were repeated during March to May 2020. Data obtained from the observation within a span of three months. Data analysis was carried out using a formula to be compared with the tolerance limit set by the Ministry of Health. Quantitative research with a descriptive approach and data collection methods carried out by means of survey. Quantitative research is research that connects or compares one variable to another The resulting data is numerical or numeric has a hypothesis as the initial assumption of research. Data collection is through tests and non-tests, data analysis with statistics measurment, and research results or conclusions can represent population. The results showed the percentage of repeat digital images at the Radiology Facility at Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital in March to May 2020 was 7.50%. The repeat factors were patient position (66.5%), patient movement (19.9%), artifact (10.2%), and mechanical exposure factor (4.2%). Solution to decrease the repeat rate were to improve the communication between doctors and patients, to improve the radiographer’s ability, and maintanance and repairment of equipment periodically. The percentage of repeat radiography images at the Radiology Facility of Awal Bros Panam Pekanbaru Hospital in period of March to May 2020 is 7.50% and the factors that cause the repeats were patient position (66.5%), patient movement (19.9%), artefact (10.2%), and mechanical (4.2%).

Abstract

Conformity test needs to be done in order to avoid deviation of X-rays photo. One of the test is conformity test collimator beam to X-ray. It aims to make sure angle and distance shift does not occur. This study was done at Radiology Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau. This study is quantitative with experimental design by using collimator test tool. Tests were be done three times to each big and small focal spot. Based on Ministry of Health No. 1250 on 2009, deviation tolerance limit value is ≤ 2% FFD for conformity test of collimator beam and being ≤ 3° for the center point conformity test. The results of calculations on the small focal spot for X1 + X2 are respectively 2,25 cm, 2,25 cm, and 2,25 cm with an average value of 2,25 cm. In the calculation results of Y1 + Y2 for small focal spots, the results are respectively 0,45 cm, 0,50 cm and 0,50 cm with an average value of 0,48 cm. Then the calculation results on the large focal spot for X1 + X2 obtained results respectively 2,25 cm, 2,20 cm and 2,15 cm with an average value of 2,20 cm. the results of the calculation of Y1 + Y2 for large focal spots, respectively are 0,45 cm, 0,45 cm, and 0,45 cm with an average value of 0,45 cm. This conformity test got the deviation value exceed the tolerance limit on X axis namely of 2.25 cm in average on small focal spots and 2.20 cm on big focal spots. Conformity test results of the beam alignment entirely showed that center point was in a small circle with < 1.5° value. This means there is no deviation of center point which exceed tolerance limit.

Abstract

The Filtered Back Projection (FBP) algorithm has been the standard algorithm for image reconstruction in computed tomography (CT) for many years, but it creates possible streak artifacts and a notable increase in image noise when radiation dose is reduced exceedingly. With technological advancement and increased computational capacities in workstations,Adaptive Statistical iterative reconstruction (ASIR) algorithms have reemerged as a potential alternative. The purpose of this review is to establish if there is a general consensus that ASIR algorithms faithfully reduce radiation dose and improve image quality in CT in comparison with the FBP algorithm. A systematic review of the literature from 2011 to 2022 was conducted using Elsevier, Google Scholar, Pubmed, AJR, dan Science Direct, Physica Medica and the Korean Journal of Radiology. A total of 11 articles were categorized as either synopsis articles or performance evaluation clinical studies. The results show that the use of IR algorithms reduces objective image noise, and at least preserves spatial resolution and low contrast detectability, even when dose is reduced. In conclusion, there is a general that ASIR algorithms can faithfully reduce radiation dose but must notice about ASIR level to improve image quality in CT in comparison with the FBP algorithm.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by the outbreak of a new pneumonia disease originating from Wuhan, China. The outbreak was named coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and caused the disease Coronavirus Disease2019 (COVID-19). However, on January 16, 2022, the Pekanbaru City Health Office stated that Pekanbaru City had entered PPKM level 1. There were already several schools and universities that had started face-to-face lectures. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the level of performance in handling covid-19 at the Stikes Awal Bros Pekanbaru campus. This study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which is included in quantitative descriptive research which then the data can be processed using SPSS. The target of this research is all students of Stikes Awal Bros Pekanbaru. The results of the research that we can describe in accordance with the Cartesian diagram are the results of the study showing that there are 2 attributes that we must maintain and 3 attributes that we must improve their performance in dealing with Covid-19 at STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Menurut Permenkes Nomor 24 Tahun 2022 tentang rekam medis adalah berkas yang berisi catatan dan dokumen tentang identitas pasien, pemeriksaan, pengobatan, tindakan dan pelayanan lain yang diberikan kepada pasien. Salah satu indikator mutu dalam penyediaan rekam medis adalah waktu tunggu penyediaan rekam medis. Waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis rawat jalan sangat dipengaruhi oleh jumlah kunjungan pasien. Peningkatan jumlah kunjungan pasien akan berdampak pada semakin lamanya waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis rawat jalan. Dari uraian latar belakang permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti menerapkan metode critical path untuk mengoptimalkan waktu tunggu rekam medis. Teknik critical path dilakukan dengan menyusun jaringan kerja yang diidentifikasikan ke arah aktivitas-aktivitas dan menggunakan simple time estimates pada tiap aktivitas yang menunjukkan jangka waktu pelaksanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan waktu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis dengan menentukan jalur kritis dari durasi kegiatan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimental Development Research. Jenis dan cara pengumpulan data yang peneliti lakukan yaitu berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Waktu penelitian mulai dari 20 April – 20 Juni 2023 di Instlasi pendaftaran rawat jalan dan rekam medis RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menghasilkan jalur kritis dan titik kritis dari alur kegiatan penyediaan dokumen rekam medis yaitu dari pendaftaran sampai berkas didistribusikan ke poli yang dituju. Adapun titik kritis yang didapatkan yaitu titik C dan G dari durasi titik kritis kegiatan tersebut bisa dikatakan aktifitas tersebut mempunyai waktu senggang untuk dikerjakan dan bisa dikerjakan bersamaan dengan aktifitas lainnya, sehingga waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis lebih optimal.

Abstract

A Bluetooth headset is a combined device of headphones and microphone that functions by connecting a Bluetooth device to a smartphone or other communication device. Bluetooth headsets contain a type of non-ionizing radiation that has the potential to cause health problems. However, it seems that many people and students still do not know about the effects of radiation exposure from Bluetooth devices and the use of headsets that can be harmful to health. The research method used is quantitative research with a survey approach and tested with the Spearman Rank test. This analysis was carried out with a population of students at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru and a sample of 45 people. The Spearman Rank test results obtained were a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.286 with a confidence interval of α 0.05 for the 2-tailed test. The conclusion is drawn that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The correlation coefficient value is -0.162 indicating the level of strength of the relationship between variables, there is almost no correlation and the correlation coefficient is negative, which means that the relationship between the variables is not unidirectional. Based on the results obtained, it can be ascertained that there is no relationship between students' understanding of radiation and the use of Bluetooth headsets.

Abstract

Abstrak: Cuci tangan merupakan satu hal yang paling sederhana yang dapat kita lakukan sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan infeksi/ penyakit. Seperti kita ketahui bersama, kuman penyakit ada dimana-mana, tidak hanya di benda/ tempat yang tampak kotor, namun juga di benda/ tempat yang kita lihat bersih. Sebagian besar kuman penyakit berpindah dan ditularkan melalui tangan kita. Meskipun secara kasat mata tampak bersih, namun kuman bisa menempel di tangan kita tanpa kita sadari. Maka dari itu, penularan penyakit dapat dicegah dengan melakukan cuci tangan yang benar. Dengan membiasakan melakukan cuci tangan yang baik, hidup kita dan keluarga menjadi lebih sehat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada kelurahan bambu kuning dengan memberikan penyuluhan kepada warga. Dari hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa warga bambu kuning masih banyak yang belum memahami secara baik pentingnya cuci tangan dan Langkah-langkah cuci tangan yang baik. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan diharapkan warga semakin memahami pentingnya cuci tangan dan Langkah-langkah cuci tangan yang baik dan benar.Abstract: The aging process involves the accumulation of somatic cell damage which causes cell and organ dysfunction, and increases the risk of death. Social services for the elderly must cover biological, psychological, social, intellectual and spiritual needs. Even though the form of a home or institution is still an alternative, the existence of activities that suit the interests and talents of the elderly is very important to fill their free time in service. Therefore, a therapy program is needed that can awaken the enthusiasm and creativity of the elderly, as well as reduce feelings of hopelessness. This socialization is carried out with the aim of improving the cognitive abilities of the elderly. The object of this socialization is all the elderly at the Anugrah Tanjung Pinang Nursing Home, totaling 10 people, using lecture, discussion, simulation and recondensation methods. The material was delivered by a team of nurses from professional nursing students who explained the pathophysiological causes of cognitive decline in the elderly, then the group carried out a dakon game simulation and asked the elderly to play dakon with each other. As a result of this socialization, 80% of the elderly were able to interact in the dakon game and looked very happy. This socialization received appreciation from the orphanage administrators because it could add to the play activities that they could implement at the orphanage.

Abstract

Scheduling is a common need nowadays. One example is hospitals. Hospitals need a scheduling process to schedule doctors who will be on duty and use a room. This is due to the large number of doctors and the limited number of rooms, so a scheduling system is needed as needed. Problems that occur at Petala Bumi Hospital, the number of doctors on duty in the emergency room is quite large. However, there is confusion from management in managing the schedule of doctors in the emergency room. This research is a development of the Graph coloring method carried out in the preparation of a doctor's schedule at the hospital. This research was conducted to overcome scheduling problems that are often inappropriate and usually need to be corrected repeatedly in hospitals. The methods used to perform scheduling are quite diverse, one of which is the Graph coloring method. This study aims to determine the application of graph coloring in compiling a doctor's schedule. This research is a type of R&D research with a system design design with the application of graph coloring. Graph coloring is done for four days because the graph coloring pattern matrix repeats after the fourth day. During the four-day preparation, graph coloring has 10 colors or chromatic numbers assuming three shifts and two doctors in one shift. Therefore, the optimization of the doctor's schedule preparation at the Emergency Room of Petala Bumi Hospital can be done with at least 10 doctors
