Abstract

Banten Jaya University is a private university in the Serang city of Banten province. The increasing number of employees the diversity of employees is also increasingly complex so it is difficult to choose the best employees. Therefore, the need for a decision support system, so that it can shorten the selection time and improve the quality in determining the best employees. The best employee decision support system uses SAW (simple additive weighting) method based on predetermined criteria and weight. SAW (simple additive weighting) method is chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. This research is done by finding the weight on each attribute, then done ranking to determine the best employees.

Abstract

Kaligandu Sub-District Office, Serang City, serves all public administration services that have been listed in the sub-district office, including making an application for an ID card, an application for a family card, and a domicile certificate. However, all administrative services and data storage are still carried out with several stages that are quite complicated and have a long waiting time and other data recapitulation processes take a long time to complete. The form data storage is still in the form of files so that there is often a double data storage and the loss of some files from the residents who have been in the data. The registration process for filling out the submission form is still manual and errors often occur in data entry which causes the filling process to be repeated. With the above problems, a good and integrated system is needed in carrying out business processes based on pre-existing systems, namely by building web-based applications and. The web application is used as a media for managing population data by users in carrying out population services. With a website-based application, it makes it easier for the Village to manage administrative files and data repaitulation in making reports, namely the existence of a print system in accordance with the submission of letters so that the submission data remains in the system, as well as in making reports that are automatically formed according to the number of submissions and in In this system, residents, Rt, Rw, and kelurahan can change residents' data so that if something goes wrong they can change it without having to come to the kelurahan office.

Abstract

Toko Sate Bandeng Hj. Mariyam located at Serang currently managed by children of Hj. Mariyam. It is a well-known tourist attraction since 1970. The main dish in the shop is milkfish satay which is always high demand by customers as they still continue to use the original recipe formulated by Hj. Mariyam. The overall sales process still performed manually from taking the order directly on the spot until payment in cash. This process have drawbacks, mainly the reduction of customers due to switching to sellers who already have easier transactions such as online transactions where it can be done anywhere and anytime, as well as problems caused by the incompatibility of the amount of sales with the amount of money in reality. This can cause losses if the calculation is carried out periodically. Another problem faced is the difficulty in the reporting process because it requires a longer time to recap all transaction and still rely on paper. The proposed system design method is waterfalls method, with the modelling use Unified Modelling Language (UML). The proposed system consider mobile-based system using Android. The proposed system can make it easier for consumers to place orders anywhere and anytime and with any payment method and make it easier for owners to manage transactions.

Abstract

The laboratory in higher education institutions is one of the facilities that must be available, usually used for practical and trial purposes. At the Bina Husada Banten Midwifery Academy, lecturers and students use the laboratory according to the schedule of certain courses. However, due to limited human resources and the large number of tools used, borrowed tools are often not returned on time, and the recording is still conventional through borrowing and returning books, so it cannot be controlled properly. Therefore, the author tries to design an information system that can monitor the borrowing and returning of laboratory equipment so that it is used and returned according to schedule. Observations, interviews, and literature studies were conducted to collect the necessary data. At the same time, system development was done using the waterfall model and modeling using unified modeling language (UML), PHP programming language, and MySQL database. Through this system design, the borrowing of laboratory equipment can be monitored properly so that the use of equipment can be regulated properly and accurately. The limitation of using a website-based system is that when the internet resource is disconnected or there is no electricity, transactions cannot be carried out, therefore it is necessary to develop a system that can be implemented online or offline.
