Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the real contribution of changes in the soft skill competence of students with special needs (deaf speech) at the Bina Harapan Special School as a result of basic leadership training. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The results of this study are 1) Students' communication competence is good, this is evidenced by the many conversations that occur in one day, both with fellow speech-impaired students and with other people who do not have special needs. 2) The competence of being able to cooperate with students is very good, as evidenced by their getting used to doing activities with other friends and supported by the habituation of group work by the school. 3) The adaptability of students is very good, as evidenced by the ratio of the number of close friends they mention is currently much higher than when they first entered school. 4) The leadership competence of students is very good, as evidenced by the way they lead themselves to be able to move others in addition to learning activities, homework and their circumstances. 5) Students' problem solving competence is well proven by the way they deal with problems that come from themselves and from others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kalimat dan wacana nilai-nilai, fungsi, dan dampak kearifan lingkungan yang terdapat pada novel Serial Anak-Anak Mamak karya Tere Liye. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan empat novel Serial Anak-Anak Mamak karya Tere Liye yang terdiri dari 4 novel yaitu novel Burlian (2009), Pukat (2010), Eliana (2011), dan Amelia (2013) kesemuanya diterbitkan oleh Republika Penerbit. Hasil Penelitian ini ialah berupa kearifan lingkungan yaitu rasa hormat terhadap alam, Rasa kepemilikan bersama masyarakat untuk menjaga sumber daya alam, Sistem pengetahuan masyarakat setempat untuk memecahkan masalah, Teknologi tepat guna dan hemat sesuai dengan kondisi setempat, Sistem penegakan aturan-aturan adat masyarakat, dan mekanisme pemerataan hasil panen. Sedangkan fungsi kearifan lingkungan yaitu untuk pelestarian sumberdaya alam, untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia, sebagai pengembangan pengetahuan, sebagai petuah, kepercayaan, sastra, dan pantangan. Adapun dampak kearifan lingkungan yaitu berdampak terhadap keasrian hutan yang masih dihuni oleh keanekaragaman makhluk hidup, berdampak terhadap kejernihan sungai dan berdampak terhadap kesehatan maupun keselamatan manusia. Abstract This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The data in this research are sentence and discourse of the values, function, and impact of environmental wisdom contained in novel Serial Anak-Anak Mamak by Tere Liye. The source of this research data is novel Serial Anak-Anak Mamak by Tere Liye Which consists of four novels namely novel Burlian (2009), Pukat (2010), Eliana (2011), and Amelia (2013) all of them published by Republika Publisher. Data collection techniques in this study is to use literature techniques, techniques refer, and record techniques. Data analysis is the analysis of description and content analysis. Research results include environmental wisdom values in the form of respect for nature, a sense of common ownership of the community to maintain natural resources, local knowledge systems to solve problems, appropriate and efficient technologies in accordance with local conditions, system of law enforcement rules, and harvest distribution mechanisms. While the function of environmental wisdom is for the preservation of natural resources, to develop human resources, as the development of knowledge, as advices, beliefs, literature, and abstinence. The impact of environmental wisdom is impacting the beauty of the forest that is still inhabited by the diversity of living things, affecting the clarity of the river and impact on health and human safety.

Abstract

Creative potential must be developed in an appropriate way to improve self-quality, self-confidence for students with special needs to eliminate unfavorable assumptions from the surrounding environment which will have an impact on their mental development. The purpose of this community service is to provide experience for them so they can experience firsthand the process of developing creativity activities, know the benefits and get encouragement to be able to hone and develop their potential. Therefore, it is important to carry out creativity development activities to provide skills in the hope of making a positive contribution to their future in society. The creativity potential developed by Bina Harapan SLB students includes batik, cooking and making handicrafts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa PGMI terhadap nilai dan pendidikan karakter yang muncul dalam novel KKN di Desa Penari Karya Simpleman. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah nonvel KKN di Desa Penari karya Simplemen tahun 2019. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif, yang terdiri atas tiga komponen analisis, yaitu: reduks data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini ialah, nilai dan pendidikan karakter berdasarkan resepsi mahasiswa PGMI terhadap novel KKN di Desa Penari berupa kebijaksanaan, keberanian, pengendalian diri, cinta, sikap positif, bekerja keras, dan syukur.

Abstract

The legend of Sumur Giling is a famous oral story in Sendangduwur Village. This research focuses on narrative structure, cultural values, and community reception. This qualitative research uses Maranda's narrative structure theory, Koentjaraningrat's cultural value theory, and Nyoman Kunta Ratna's community reception theory. Data was collected through observation, interviews, recording, note-taking, transcription, transliteration and translation. Analysis shows that this story has a plot structure, characters and functions that are consistent with the values ​​of good, justice and evil. The cultural values ​​contained include belief in a creator, relationships between humans, and relationships with nature. People still attach importance to and believe in this legend, with elements such as the mosque appearing suddenly and the blessing of the milled well which is believed to be related to the Sunan Sendang karomah.

Abstract

This research will discuss studies related to learning evaluation, more precisely it will analyze HOTS-based summative multiple choice questions in grade 7 at MTs Al Khoiriyah Sidodowo school. This research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology, with 3 techniques, namely observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research showed that there were 5 questions in the LOTS category consisting of very easy and easy category questions. There are 17 questions in the MOTS category, consisting of medium category questions and 3 questions in the HOTS category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan kosakata yang dikuasai siswa kelas XI BD SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng, siswa mengalami kesulitan menulis cerita pendek terutama dalam menemukan ide, pengolahan kosakata dan mengembangkan alur cerita. Kondisi ini dikarenakan kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam membaca karena keterampilan membaca akan berdampak pada keterampilan menulisnya. Upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti menggunakan aplikasi Noveltoon sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh aplikasi Noveltoon dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (Mixed Methods) dengan desain pretest dan postest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, angket, dan tes (soal). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: pertama, hasil kemampuan menulis cerpen terlihat jelas dari hasil pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata nilai siswa mengalami kenaikan dari 75,16 (pretest) menjadi 84,38 (posttest). Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menggunakan paired sample t-test, diperoleh nilai t-hitung = 10,66. Selain itu, nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan aplikasi Noveltoon terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI Bisnis Daring SMK NU 1 Karanggeneng. Kedua, respons siswa setelah menerapkan aplikasi Noveltoon berkategori baik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 71,33%. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu: Hasil kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 75,16 menjadi 84,38 pada posttest, jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar 22 siswa pada pretest dan 31 siswa pada posttest. Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media aplikasi Noveltoon berada dalam kategori baik, dengan persentase sebesar 71,33%. Mayoritas siswa merasa senang, lebih mudah mendapatkan ide, serta termotivasi untuk membaca dan menulis cerpen setelah menggunakan aplikasi tersebut.
