Abstract

Penelitian ini beranjak dari fenomena banyaknya peserta didik yang melakukan pelanggaran disiplin dalam mematuhi tata tertib sekolah. Untuk mereduksi tingkat pelanggaran tersebut guru BK berupaya mengatasinya melalui beberapa jenis layanan salah satunya dengan layanan konseling individual namun hasilnya belum optimal. Peneliti mencoba melakukan layanan konseling individual dengan pendekatan client centered. Tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan konseling client centered dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian pre eksperimen model One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 83 orang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 7 siswa yang terindikasi memiliki tingkat pelanggaran disiplin tinggi berdasarkan teknik non random sampling dan rekomendasi guru BK. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah skala likert. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 22. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat perbedaan antara nilai pretest dengan nilai posttest. Dari hasil test statistik mengunakan uji Wilcoxon  diperoleh nilai signifikansi p-value sebesar 0,018 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku pada Uji Wilcoxon maka dapat dikatakan Ho ditolak artinya pendekatan konseling client centered efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa.

Abstract

This reserach is motivated by the existence of the problem about self adjustment to the low rules of school. This research aims to descripbe: 1) Self adjustment overview of students to the rules of school. 2) Design of implementation of group guidance services by using discussion method in improving students’ self adjustment to the rules of school. This research is carried out by an analysis descriptive method. The population in this research is students at the grade of XI IIS 1 Senior High School 1 Lunang who are experiencing low self adjustment to the rules of school with a total of 12 students. The sampling using purposive sampling technique with a total is 8 students. The data collected by using questionnaire, then analyzed by using percentage classification. The result of this research discloses that: 1) Self adjustment overview of students to the rules of school, is the low category. 2) Design of implementation of group guidance services by using discussion methods in improving students’ self adjustment to the rules of school. Based on the result of this research, it is recommended for counselors to be able to implement group guidance services by using discussion methods to students at the grade of XI IIS 1 Senior High School 1 Lunang in improving self adjustment to the rules of school as it is designed in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the self-concept and self-confidence of students, and test the effect of self-concept on students' self-confidence in phase F class of SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Timur, Padang Pariaman Regency. The research method used is descriptive correlational method with total sampling on a population of 84 students. The results showed that: 1) The self-concept of students is in the high category with a percentage of 53.57%. 2) Students' self-confidence is also in the high category with a percentage of 52.38%, but in some indicators such as optimistic, responsible, rational, and realistic, there are lower values. 3) There is a significant influence of self-concept on students' self-confidence by 57%, indicating that a more positive self-concept can increase students' self-confidence. The limitation of this study is that it does not explore the factors that influence the formation of a positive self-concept or low self-confidence in certain aspects. Further research is recommended to explore these factors for the development of more effective interventions in improving learners' self-confidence.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the use of an IT-based communication barrier instrument application for interpersonal aspects of students that had not been used by all guidance and counseling teachers and was only in the validation process by 2 guidance and counseling teachers at one of the junior high schools in Kuranji District, Padang City, which was carried out by previous researchers. The purpose of this research is to determine the use of communication barrier instrument applications on interpersonal aspects of IT-based students by guidance and counseling teachers at Kuranji District Middle School, Padang City. This type of research uses research and development (RD) methods. The development procedure used in this research includes 2 steps, namely: trial use and product revision. Validation of the use of communication barriers instruments in the interpersonal aspect has four assessment aspects, namely: appearance aspect, use aspect, accuracy aspect, language aspect. The population in this study were all guidance and counseling teachers in Kuranji District, Padang City. Meanwhile, the number of samples was 8 people from each of 3 schools, namely SMPN 27 Padang, SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Padang and SMP IT Adzkia Padang. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing an application assessment format. The results of this research are: Based on the results of using the application, the application of the communication barrier instrument on the interpersonal aspects of IT-based students is effective in its use based on the results of use by guidance and counseling teachers at Kuranji District Middle School, Padang City. This research is recommended for guidance and counseling teachers to be able to use the communication barriers instrument application on interpersonal aspects based on IT to see communication barriers on interpersonal aspects of students, so that guidance and counseling teachers can provide appropriate guidance and counseling services.               Keywords: Use of Instrument Applications  Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI  belum digunakan oleh semua guru BK dan baru pada proses validasi oleh 2 orang guru BK di salah satu SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI oleh Guru BK di SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi 2 langkah yaitu: uji coba pemakaian dan revisi produk. Validasi penggunaan instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi memiliki empat aspek penilaian yaitu: aspek tampilan, aspek penggunaan, aspek ketepatan, aspek bahasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru BK di Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Sedangkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8 orang dari masing-masing 3 sekolah yaitu SMPN 27 Padang, SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Padang dan SMP IT Adzkia Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel ialah cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner berisi format penilaian aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : Berdasarkan hasil penggunaan aplikasi bahwa aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI efektif penggunaannya berdasarkan hasil pemakaian oleh guru BK di SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Penelitian ini di rekomendasikan kepada guru BK agar dapat menggunakan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi berbasis TI untuk melihat hambatan komunikasi aspek antar pribadi pada peserta didik, sehingga guru BK dapat memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang sesuai.Kata Kunci: Penggunaan Aplikasi Instrumen

Abstract

Bencana banjir bandang yang terjadi di Kabupaten Tanah Datar mengakibatkan korban banjir bandang masih terpuruk dan larut dalam kesedihan akibat kehilangan harta benda bahkan keluarga, korban seperti tidak punya semangat hidup lagi dan kurang dalam motivasi. Salah satu factor yang menyebabkan rendahnya resiliensi individu adalah karena kurang adanya pengetahuan dan pemahaman serta keputusasaan setelah mengalami bencana .Solusi yang ditawarkan pada permasalahan yang terjadi di jorong panti nagari Rambatan yaitu memberikan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik homeroom. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan resiliensi korban bencana. Diharapkan ada pemahaman dan wawasan yang baru yang didapatkan korban melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik homeroom.

Abstract

One of the things that causes a teenager to engage in premarital sexual behavior is a lack of knowledge and understanding about reproductive health. A module is a medium that contains material that can be used as a guide in understanding and obtaining information about reproductive health. This research aims to develop a prevention module for adolescent premarital sexual behavior. This type of research is the development (research & development) of the ADDIE model. Through this research, a valid module was successfully developed (feasibility value 85.5). It is hoped that the module that has been developed can be used to prevent premarital sexual behavior among teenagers

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' dissatisfaction with life, such as feeling that the life they are living is meaningless, feeling embarrassed because their parents died, there are some students who hate their parents because they think they no longer love them. The aim of the research This is to describe: 1) Subjective wellbeing of students with single parents’ terms of pleasant affect 2). Subjective wellbeing of students with single parents of unpleasant affect 3). subjective wellbeing of students with single parents’ terms of Life satisfaction. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population of this study was guidance and counseling students, totaling 30 students. This sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely 30 people. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire instrument and the data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the subjective well-being profile of students with single parents is in the quite high category, 1). From the pleasant affect indicator, students are in the high category, 2). From the unpleasant affect indicator, students are in the quite high category. 3). From the Life Satisfaction indicator, students are in the quite high category. From the research results, students can further improve Subjective well-being from the moderately high category to the high category by increasing pleasant affect or referring to students' beliefs about their well-being or happiness in living their lives. Based on the research results, it is recommended for students with single parents to achieve subjective well-being so that it has an impact on life satisfaction

Abstract

Academic procrastination is one of the problems for students in schools. Academic procrastination is a behavior of delaying academic tasks. The purpose of this study is to: 1) Describe the academic procrastination of students before the implementation of group guidance. 2) Describe the academic procrastination of students after the implementation of group guidance. 3) The effectiveness of group guidance services to reduce academic procrastination of students. This study was conducted using an experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The research population involved 32 students. The research sample was 12 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique, namely the technique of determining samples with certain considerations. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire. The validity test using correlation person product moment on 30 students trial resulted in 41 valid items with r count > r table (0.361). The reliability test showed a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.934. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results of this study indicate: 1) Academic procrastination of students before the implementation of group guidance is in the fairly high category with a percentage of 50%, 2) Academic procrastination of students after the implementation of group guidance is in the low category with a percentage of 75%. 3) There is a difference in academic procrastination of students before (pretest) and after (posttest) being given group guidance treatment. Proven by the results of the t-test obtained a value of 2.299 > 1.795 and a significant value of 0.042.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between sibling rivalry and achievement motivation among students at SMPN 2 Koto Baru. The research is motivated by the observation of problematic behaviors such as verbal and non-verbal aggression toward siblings, failure to complete assignments, absenteeism, and tardiness in class. A quantitative descriptive approach with a correlational method was used in this study. The population consisted of 30 students, all of whom were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the product moment correlation technique to assess the relationship between variables. The findings indicate that the level of sibling rivalry among students is categorized as low, as is their level of achievement motivation. The correlation analysis revealed a very weak relationship between sibling rivalry and achievement motivation. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the local context and the exploration of sibling rivalry as a factor influencing academic motivation at the junior high school level—an area that remains underexplored in quantitative studies. These results offer valuable insight for school counselors to design targeted interventions that promote a growth mindset and social skills development, thereby supporting students' academic motivation and overall well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakang karena masih ditemukan orang tua yang mengeluh saat berdiskusi dengan peserta didik yang tidak mendengar dengan sungguh-sungguh, tidak akrab dengan orang orang tuanya, dikasari oleh orang tua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik orang tua dilihat dari aspek pendengaran secara aktif, persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik orang tua dilihat dari aspek memahami bahasa tubuh yang empati, persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik orangtua dilihat dari aspek merespons dengan empatik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 143 orang peserta didik, sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 90 orang peserta didik yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empati orang tua kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Rao berada pada kategori kurang baik dengan batasan 3 sub variabel yaitu: 1). peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik orang tua dilihat dari aspek mendengar secara aktif, 2). persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik orang tua dilihat dari aspek memahami bahasa tubuh yang empati, 3). persepsi peserta didik tentang komunikasi empatik Orang tua dilihat dari aspek merespons dengan empatik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini di rekomendasikan kepada peserta didik bahwa komunikasi orang tua dengan peserta didik kurang baik sehingga orang tua mampu membangun komunikasi empati untuk kedepannya, khususnya pada aspek pendengaran secara aktif.
