Abstract

Strategi belajar adalah pola-pola umum yang diterapkan oleh pendidik kepada peserta didik sebagai perwujudan kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. Untuk memaksimalkan strategi belajar dan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif, guru harus mengadopsi model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Ketika model pembelajaran diterapkan dengan cara yang membuat siswa bosan, proses transfer ilmu kepada siswa tidak akan berjalan maksimal. Tujuan dari riset ini untuk mengupas dan mengulas lebih jauh mengenai strategi belajar yang cocok dan efektif digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti kondisi objek yang alamiah, di mana peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen kunci. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran kontekstual merupakan strategi yang cocok digunakan dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih. Karena mata pelajaran Fiqih bertujuan untuk mengetahui tata cara pelaksanaan taharah, salat, puasa, zakat, hingga pelaksanaan ibadah haji, serta ketentuan tentang makanan dan minuman, khitan, kurban, dan cara pelaksanaan jual beli dan pinjam meminjam, maka dengan strategi kontekstual, guru bisa mengarahkan siswa untuk praktek langsung, misalnya di lingkungan sekolah seperti cara menghilangkan najis, praktik cara jual beli yang benar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa. Siswa dapat mempraktikkan langsung materi yang diajarkan, seperti cara menghilangkan najis atau transaksi jual beli, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih relevan dan menarik. Hal ini juga mendorong guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan tidak membosankan, mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Karena mata pelajaran Fiqih bertujuan untuk mengetahui tata cara pelaksanaan taharah, salat, puasa, zakat, hingga pelaksanaan ibadah haji, serta ketentuan tentang makanan dan minuman, khitan, kurban, dan cara pelaksanaan jual beli dan pinjam meminjam, maka dengan strategi kontekstual, guru bisa mengarahkan siswa untuk praktek langsung, misalnya di lingkungan sekolah seperti cara menghilangkan najis, praktik cara jual beli yang benar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual dalam mata pelajaran Fiqih dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa. Siswa dapat mempraktikkan langsung materi yang diajarkan, seperti cara menghilangkan najis atau transaksi jual beli, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih relevan dan menarik. Hal ini juga mendorong guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan tidak membosankan, mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the decision-making process, participation in decision-making, and decision-making methods at Ibrahimy Sukorejo University Situbondo and Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo. The research methodology is a qualitative study, the type is descriptive with a multi-site design at the Sukorejo Islamic boarding school in Situbondo and the Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school in Paiton Probolinggo. Data collection technique; Observations, interviews, and documentary studies. The data were organized, interpreted, tested for validity by triangulation procedures, then analyzed using the interactive model of Milles and Huberman. The findings of this study are: (1) the decision-making process is carried out by identifying the problem, developing it by conducting internal and external analysis, solving it with a new strategy, implementing and evaluating the results of the decision; (2) forms of participation are ideas, thoughts, suggestions, criticisms, and energy in carrying out organizational tasks according to the structure. And the factors that influence participation are the factors of intention, sincerity, dedication, age, knowledge, and a sense of responsibility in carrying out organizational tasks to achieve goals; (3) the decision-making methods are autocratic decisions, consultative decisions, joint decisions, and religious intuitive decisions.

Abstract

Amidst the diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religions, conflicts often arise due to extremists who claim to possess absolute truth. Alan Race’s Tripolar Typology of Religion categorizes religious perspectives into three types: exclusivism, inclusivism, and pluralism. Rigid exclusivism frequently triggers conflicts, whereas the more open approaches of inclusivism and pluralism promote tolerance and interreligious dialogue. This research aims to describe these three typologies and introduce religious moderation as a response to existing divisions. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review as its primary research method. Data collection techniques involve descriptive-analytic methods, including reading, understanding, reviewing, and analyzing relevant literature. The findings reveal that the typology of religion, religion itself, and globalization are deeply interconnected in shaping the contemporary religious landscape. Understanding these three concepts is essential for comprehending the dynamics of religion in the context of diversity and the challenges posed by globalization. Religion in the age of globalization faces complex issues such as extremism, radicalism, and modernization. Religious moderation emerges as a balanced response to these challenges, offering a middle ground that harmonizes the interpretation of religious texts with universal human values. A comprehensive understanding of the typology of religion, the interplay between religion and globalization, and the principles of religious moderation is crucial for fostering a more peaceful and tolerant world. By respecting differences and upholding shared human values, we can work towards creating a better future for all

Abstract

As a learning agents, Islamic Religious Education Teachers (GPAI) have a central role in building the quality of PAI learning. One of the factors that influence the quality of PAI learning is the selection to learnthe  right learning approach by GPAI in designing and managinto learnng. Therefore, in the context of learning reform that should be carried out by PAI teachers is how to change the pattern of PAI learning activities which are dominated by the application of conventional (teacher-oriented) learning approaches to student-oriented learning approaches. One of them is a problem-solving strategy. The purpose of this research is an effort to cover GPAI skills in exploring students' abilities to think creatively, critically and rationally through problem-solving learning models and strategies. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. Sources of research data come from books, journals and scientific articles. All data obtained were analyzed with a hermeneutic scalpel. The results of this study indicate that problem-solving learning strategies can stimulate students to think creatively, critically and rationally. The motivation for work is based on employees' increased performance in Islamic educational institutions. Educational institutions are various formal institutions with different individual characters and motivations. Motivation Work appears in the behaviour of everyone inside an activity or work, and motivation is a person's mental state that drives to do something giving action-guiding force to achievement need. Motivation can raise encouragement or Work Spirit for every individual. Push or Spirit of work is strongly influenced by factors situation, workmate, policy, reward, type of work, and moderate challenges someone faces. This objective study reveals another aspect of the base motivation of employees to increase performance to get results and work maximum according to the stated target. This article uses the qualitative method, data collection using the form of interviews and observations, and then For analyze data using interactive analysis. The data obtained conclude that motivation for the work of teachers and employees in institutions of Islamic education is not only financially oriented, but other factors can underlie the base motivation of teachers and employees, that as intention devotion For practising knowledge with reward as a form of worship to Allah SWT. Intention and sincerity is the main asset for teachers and employees in institutions of Islamic education, so performance they Keep going to experience positive changes and developments for progress and quality education in institutions of Islamic teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the participatory transformation approach through the SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) framework in improving the quality of the learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Jannah Sawaran Lor Lumajang. A descriptive qualitative methodology was used, with data collected through active observation, in-depth interviews with madrasah principals, teachers, and students, and document analysis. The SOAR framework is specifically applied to map the madrasah's intrinsic strengths, development opportunities, collective aspirations, and expected outcomes. The research results show that the participatory SOAR analysis successfully mapped existing capabilities and challenges. Primary strengths include the quality of competent teachers and a supportive learning environment—key opportunities identified in digital technology integration and external support. Shared aspirations create an inclusive learning environment and develop graduates who are competitive and possess noble character. Evidence of the resulting transformation includes increased student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. The implementation of SOAR facilitates constructive dialogue and asset-centered strategic planning, making it an effective model for Islamic educational innovation.

Abstract

Decision making is one of the leader's strategic tasks in carrying out his leadership duties. Therefore information, participation from various parties and aspects in the management system, will determine the quality of decisions made by the leadership. Kyai as the highest leader of pesantren will determine the direction of development and make quality long-term strategic decisions in the face of global change. The ability of Kyai in managing information from subordinates in society can be seen from his decision making methods, namely full power and power sharing. The focus of this research lies in how Kyai utilize and manage information to make a positive contribution to produce quality decisions in Pondok pesantren Kyai Syarifuddin, Lumajang ? This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. The results showed that Kyai as a leader in pesantren have full authority in decision making, both short and long term. However, However, the Kyai as leaders of pesantren still ask for input information from the pesantren administrators as a material consideration in making quality decisions. The quality of decisions determined by a leader is very dependent on the extent to which information material data considerations provide an influence on the outcome of the decision.

Abstract

This study aims to describe applying a participatory ubudiyah management model to improve the quality of student worship at the Kyai Syarifuddin Islamic Boarding School, Maqoman Mahmuda Lumajang Dormitory. The research approach used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through participatory observation for 2 months. Interviews are conducted with students, Islamic boarding school administrators, and ustadzah. Document data is a data collection technique. Data analysis is done qualitatively through data reduction, presentation, and verification stages. The results of the study show that the application of the participatory ubudiyah management model in this Islamic boarding school can be seen through three real practical steps, namely joint planning through a deliberation forum between students and ustadzah, habituation of worship with a consistent and structured schedule, and collaborative supervision between ustadzah and students. These three steps not only make students an object of education, but also an active subject who plays a role in maintaining the sustainability and quality of ubudiyah, ultimately strengthening the discipline of their worship. Thus, the participatory ubudiyah education model is relevant to improving the quality of student worship and contributes to enhancing religious character education in Islamic boarding schools as an integral part of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Indonesian migrant children studying at PKBM PNF KBRI Kuala Lumpur face various challenges in accessing education, particularly in developing writing literacy skills. The unstable socio-economic conditions of migrant worker families and the limited learning facilities often hinder their learning process. Based on observations at the Community Learning Center (PNF) KBRI Kuala Lumpur, it was found that most students still struggle to write simple sentences and are not yet accustomed to expressing ideas in written form. This mentoring program aims to improve the writing literacy skills of migrant children through the Writing Assistance Program for Migrant Children at PNF KBRI Kuala Lumpur. The strategy used is Service Learning with a participatory-educative approach, in which university students act as facilitators who guide learners actively and reflectively. The implementation of the program includes problem identification, planning, implementation, reflection, and follow-up stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation of students’ writing products throughout the activity. The results show an improvement in learners’ basic writing abilities, including increased confidence, better understanding of sentence structure, and improved neatness. Students also demonstrated positive attitudes toward writing activities and greater confidence in expressing themselves through written text. Contextual approaches and the use of simple media were proven effective in creating an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Thus, this mentoring program not only contributes to enhancing the writing literacy skills of migrant children but also strengthens the application of the Service Learning concept in community service. The program serves as a reciprocal learning space between university students and learners and offers inspiration for implementing literacy mentoring in other non-formal education settings.
