Abstract

Perawat merupakan profesi yang berhubungan dengan banyak orang yang mempunyai latar belakang berbeda. Hubungan tersebut beresiko memicu terjadinya konflik. Konflik dapat diselesaikan dengan manajemen konflik melalui pendekatan gaya manajemen konflik. Penyelesaian konflik mempunyai korelasi dengan kecerdasan emosional seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level kecerdasan emosional dan pemilihan gaya manajemen konflik serta menganalisis hubungan antara kedua variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dilakukan pada 30 responden perawat pelaksana di RSM Ahmad Dahlan Kota Kediri. Adapun instrument yang digunakan adalah data demografi, kecerdasan emosional, dan pilihan gaya manajemen konflik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rata-rata gaya kompetisi (M=1,2), kolaborasi (M=1,93), menghindar (M=2), kompromi (M=2,2), akomodasi (M=2,867); sedangkan kecerdasan emosional dengan nilai tinggi (43%), rendah (57 %). Terdapat hubungan negative antara dimensi kesadaran diri dengan gaya kompetisi (r = -0,667; p = 0,00); dan hubungan positif antara dimensi manajemen diri dengan gaya akomodasi (r = 0,473; p = 0,008). Terdapat hubungan antara dimensi kesadaran diri dengan gaya kompetisi, serta manajemen emosi dan gaya akomodasi. Pelatihan tentang strategi manajemen konflik dan manajemen kecerdasan emosi penting bagi perawat untuk menjaga motivasi kerja. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan emosional, gaya pemecahan konflik perawat Abstract Relationships of emotional intelligence with nursing conflicts of nursing conflicts. This study analyzes the level of emotional intelligence and conflict management styles and correlation between them. This study used a cross sectional design with a descriptive approach with 30 nurses at Ahmad Dahlan Hospital in Kediri. Demography instrument, emotional intelligence, and Thomas Killman instruments (TKI) was used to collect data. The results of this study were competition style (M = 1.2), collaboration (M = 1.93), avoidance (M = 2), compromise (M = 2.2), accommodation (M = 2.867); while emotional intelligence with high scores level (43%) and low level (57%). There was a negative correlation between self awareness and competition style (r = -0.667; p = 0.00); positive correlation in managing emotion with accommodation style (r = 0,473; p = 0,008). There was a corelation between self awareness and competition style, also managing emotion and accomodation style. Training in skill of conflict management and emotional intelligence was important for nurses to maintain work motivation. Keywords: Emotional intelligence, conflict management style of nurse

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is an endocrine disorder characterized by instability of blood glucose levels. One of the important factors that can regulate blood sugar levels is regulating dietary patterns, so patient understanding regarding management is needed. Education as one of the pillars of management of DM patients plays an important role as a means of promoting holistic DM management. This research aims to determine the effect of health education through Doratoon-based animated video media about DM diet patterns on the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients. The research design uses a quasi experiment with a one group pre and post test design without control group. The sample used was 30 DM patients with a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire regarding knowledge of DM diet patterns. The data obtained were analyzed using Wilcoxon. The result obtained was a value of p = 0.001 (p<0.05) which shows that there is an influence of providing health education through Doratoon-based animated video media about DM diet patterns on the knowledge of diabetes mellitus patients. Future researchers are expected to be able to develop digital media in various forms of animation for health education. Abstract

The physical changes experienced by the elderly influence the psychological problems of the elderly. Depression is a psychological disorder that often attacks the elderly. If this problem is not addressed, it can cause physical and mental disorders and hinder social functioning. Not only that, depression can also make other chronic health problems more difficult to treat. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between physical changes and the incidence of depression in the elderly. This research is quantitative research with a case-control approach. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling of 52 respondents. The research instruments were a depression measurement scale in the elderly (beck) and an interview questionnaire. Analysis with chi-square test. The results of the research were that there were 8 respondents who could not accept physical changes in the case group and 3 respondents in the control group. The results of the chi-square test obtained a value of p=0.174 OR=3.407 95%CI=0.789 – 14.720. The conclusion is that there is no relationship between physical changes and the incidence of depression in the elderly. Keywords: Physical changes, depression in the elderly.

Abstract

Kasus-kasus kegawatan dapat datang kapan saja dimana saja dan menimpa siapa saja. Hal mendasar yang harus dipahami bahwa kasus kegawatan memerlukan penanganan segera dengan waktu tunggu yang sangat singkat namun tidak semua orang mengerti cara memberikan pertolongan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kader kesehatan sebagai orang awam dalam memberikan pertolongan kasus kegawatan sehari-hari. Kegiatan dilaksanankan pada tanggal 9 November 2023 di Aula Kantor Kepala Desa Gondanglegi yang diikuti 29 peserta. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan ceramah, demo, dan role play. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata 63%. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dibuktiksn dengan antusiasme peserta yang sangat tinggi. Rekomendasi kegaiatan selanjutnya adalah pelaksanaan kegaiatn pengabdian secara kontinyu serta pembentukan tim respon cepat tanggap di tingkat desa. kata kunci :pertolongan pertama, kegawatan, masyarakat awam

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Modern (PPM) Daar El Khairat merupakan merupakan pondok yang sedang berkembang yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Cikande Kabpaten Serang Banten, saat ini PPM Daar El Khairat berencana mengembangkan digitalisasi pada Penerimaan santri baru dan pemasaran pondok pesantren, dengan adanya pandemic Covid-19 manajemen mengalami kesulitan pemasarn melalui offline, maka dari itu pondok pesantren mulai suda melakukan pemasaran dengan media social facebook melalui halaman akun PPM Daar El Khairat. Dalam kegiatan wawancara yang dilakukan antara penulis dan Pimpinan PPM Daar El Khairat, telah dilaksanakan kegiatan  Pelatihan Digital Marketing, Penerapan Digital Marketing Pada Pemasaran Lembaga Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren pdada Hari/tanggal Kamis, 26 Januari 2023 dilaksanakan diPondok Pesantren Daar El Khairat dengan peserta Manajeman Pondok Pesantren, guru, dan Santri. Kegiatan Pelatihan Digital Marketing, Penerapan Digital Marketing Pada Pemasaran Lembaga Pendidikan telah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik dan diharakan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta tentang Penerapan Digital Marketing Pada Pemasaran Lembaga Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren dan pengelolaan Website Pondok Pesantren khususnya pada PPM Daar El Khairat.

Abstract

Online gambling has become a rapidly growing issue, leading to financial losses and mental health challenges. In Malaysia, online gambling is regulated under progressive Islamic law which focuses on social justice, while Indonesia struggles with weak enforcement despite existing regulations. This study discusses three main parts: first, current online gambling regulation in Indonesia and Malaysia; second, Malaysia’s progressive legal experience as a blueprint for Indonesia; and third, social justice and SDGs-based online gambling regulation for Muslim-majority countries. A qualitative approach, including case studies, in-depth interviews with legal experts, and document analysis in both countries, was employed. The findings show that Malaysia’s implementation of progressive Islamic law has been effective in managing online gambling, promoting social justice, and reducing financial and mental health impacts. In contrast, weak law enforcement in Indonesia exacerbates the social issues related to online gambling. The research concludes that Malaysia’s approach has successfully regulated online gambling and supported SDG achievement. Therefore, Indonesia should consider adopting more progressive Islamic legal principles to enhance law enforcement and reduce the social harms of online gambling.

Abstract

Anxiety is one of the most common mental disorders in human life and can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or social background. This study aims to describe the levels of anxiety experienced by students of SMPN 2 Loceret in facing last exams semester. This research design uses a descriptive quantitative approach, an approach that emphasizes the collection and analysis of data in the form of numbers or numerical data, which are then analyzed to describe a particular phenomenon. The results and discussion regarding the levels of anxiety experienced by students of SMPN 2 Loceret in facing last exams semester are presented in this chapter. To answer the research questions and achieve the research objectives, data collection and analysis were conducted, and the results outline the main findings. Tables, graphs, and statistics with detailed explanations accompany the findings from the data analysis, which followed the procedures outlined above. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students experience varying levels of anxiety when facing final exams. Most students fall into the moderate anxiety category, followed by low anxiety, and only a small percentage experience high anxiety.

Abstract

The post TURP surgery wound is found causing pain and bladder spasm. This research is designed to identity the effectiveness of religious music in reducing post TURP surgery pain, by using quasi experiment design with pre and post test control group design. Thirty four samples were recruited using consecutive sampling method, and then divided into 2 groups: the intervention group (analgesic and religious music therapy combination), and control group (analgesic therapy). The data analysis result discovered that religious music therapy was significant in reducing the pain level with p value=0,000. According to this finding, it is recommended for hospitals to integrate religious music therapy in managing post surgery pain. Keywords: post TURP, pain, religious music therapy
