Abstract

This study aims to examine (1) the difference in average daily return in one week (2) test the occurrence of negative returns on the fourth and fifth weeks of Monday on financial sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2017 and (3) test whether a positive return and tends to be larger than other months on Monday in April. The population in this study were financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method. Samples consisted of 6 financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and included in LQ45 during the 2017 period. The results of data analysis show that trading days have no significant effect on stock returns. There is no negative return on the fourth and fifth week of Monday on stock returns and positive returns are found and tend to be greater than the other months on Monday in April on financial sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017 period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the presence or absence of influence operational cost budget and revenue budget to financial performance based on return on assets (ROA) at PT Madubaru Yogyakarta in the year 2012-2016. In this study there are three variables, namely budget operational (X1), revenue budget (X2), and ROA (Y). Research methods what I use is the quantitative analysis method, the type of data it uses secondary data, data collection techniques used are documentation and Interview. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression with SPSS program version 20. The results showed that the budget Operational and income budgets affect return on assets (ROA) seen with an R value of 0.962. Partially operational budget has no effect on ROA and income budget has an effect on ROA.

Abstract

This  research was conducted with the aim of partially  testing  the influence of Current Ratio, Return On Equity, and Debt to Asset Ratio on Price Book Value to Advertising, Printing and Media companies listed on the Indonesia Stock  Exchange  (IDX).  Factors  that  influence  price  book  value  (PBV)  include liquidity that is proxied by current ratio or current ratio (CR), profitability projected with return on equity (ROE), and Debt to asset ratio (DAR). The research period was  carried out for 4 (four)  years,  namely  2014-2017. This  type  of  research  is Quantitative data, namely data in the form of numbers, or Quantitative data that are sent in a queue. The population in this study is a company engaged in the services of Advertising,  Printing, and Media services listed on the IDX, namely 15 companies. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method. Based on existing criteria, 15 companies were obtained. Hypothesis testing is done by Multiple  regression  analysis,  but  before testing  hypotheses  first  testing  the classical assumptions.  The results of hypothesis testing are carried out partially, namely the t test shows that CR has no effect and is not significant on PBV. ROE has a partial and significant effect on PBV. DAR partially has no effect and is  not significant for PBV.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Earning Per Share, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Equity and Current Ratio to Price to Book Value on advertising printing  media  companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. This  research  is  descriptive  quantitative  research.  The  research  population  is  all advertising printing  media  companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017 with a total of 15 companies. The sample selection was determined by purposive sampling technique with the criteria of the stock being sampled were the companies that published theirfinancial statements during the consecutive research year, so that samples are  12 companies were obtained. This study uses a statistical panel data regression analysis tool. The results of the study using Earning Per Share, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Equity and Current Ratio to Price to Book Value have results, the Debt To Equity Ratio variable affects the dependent variable Price to Book Value, while the other independent variables have no effect, that is; Earning Per Share, Return On Equity and Current Ratio. With the value of R Squared of 66.5% which explains the large influence on Price to Book Value.

Abstract

This study discusses liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk, and interest rates risk on finance performance at the National Private Foreign Exchange Commercial Bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. In this study, the independent variables are liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk and interest rate risk and the dependent variable is financial performance. The object of research is the National Private Foreign Exchange Private Bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. The population in this study was 23 banks. The sampling technique using purposive sampling method, based on research criteria, the research sample won 11 banks. The analysis tool used is panel regression data with eviews 6. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the official website pages of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bank Indonesia. Partially, the results of the study indicate that negative liquidity risk is not significant to finance, negative credit risk is significant to finance, operational risk is significantly negative to financial performance, and interest rates increase significantly positive to finance. Simultaneously liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk and interest rate risk affect financial performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of empirically testing the effect of Debt To Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Return On Equity, Quick Ratio Against Earning Per Share for Companies in the Textile and Garment Sub Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014-2017 Period. The research period was carried out for 4 (four) years, namely 2014-2017. This type of research is causal research, that is, this study looks for a causal relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. The population in this study were all textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the IDX, which were 18 textile and garment sub-sector companies. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method. Based on existing criteria, 14 textile and garment sub-sector companies were obtained. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are done partially, namely the t test shows that DER has a sig value. t is 0,000, the regression coefficient (B) is 38,611 and t is calculated: 4,796, the result states that DER has a significant positive effect on EPS. NPM has a sig value. t is 0,000, regression coefficient (B) is 12,726 and t is calculated: 29,230, the result states that NPM has a significant positive effect on EPS. ROE has a sig value. t is 0.002, the regression coefficient (B) is -1.485 and t is calculated: -3.3321, the result is that ROE has a significant negative effect on EPS. QR has a sig value. t is 0.480, the regression coefficient (B) is -13.095 and t is calculated: -0.712, the result is that QR has a negative effect that is not significant for EPS.

Abstract

Financial  distress  precedes  bankruptcy.  Most  financial  distress  models actually rely on bankruptcy data, which is easier to obtain. The purpose of this research to examine financial ratios that predict financial distress condition of a firm. The sample of this research consist of 14 distress firm and 79 non-distress firms, chosen by purposive sampling. The statistic method which is used to test on the research hypothesis  is logistic regresion. The results show that the liquidity ratio (current assets/current liabilities) and a leverage ratio  (current leabilities/total  asset)  is  a  significant  variable  to  determine  of  financial  distress firms.  When  profitability  ratio  (net  income/net  sales)  and  price  earning  ratio (market  price  per  share/earnings  per  share)  are  not  significant  variables  to determine of financial distress.

Abstract

E-commerce, or internet purchasing, has become more competitive as technology advances. This research aims to develop a relationship marketing model based on the causes and effects of e-trust among online shoppers. E-service quality and e-satisfaction are two factors that contribute to a company gaining their trust online. Meanwhile, e-commitment from customers follows on the heels of e-trust. Purposive sampling was used to choose 200 e-commerce users. This research used Partial Least Square (PLS) for data analysis. According to the findings, e-trust is affected by how satisfied and pleased clients are with the services they get online. E-service quality affects e-satisfaction, which in turn affects e-satisfaction and customers’ e-commitment. However, e-trust may also mediate the effects of e-service quality and e-satisfaction on e-commitment. E-satisfaction acts as a mediator between the effects of e-service quality on customers’ e-trust and e-commitment. These results show that customers’ e-trust is important in strengthening the influence of e-service quality and e-satisfaction on customers’ e-commitment. Likewise, e-satisfaction has an important role in strengthening the influence of e-service quality on e-trust and e-commitment. These findings prove that relationship marketing can be strengthened through the antecedents and consequences of customers’ e-trust to support and strengthen the achievement of e-commerce’s competitive advantage. Managers must create a strategy that integrates e-service quality, satisfaction, trust, and commitment to deliver a holistic customer experience. By prioritising these factors, managers can drive higher customer retention, loyalty, and ultimately, long-term business success in the online marketplace.

Abstract

Purpose – This study analyses the relationship between knowledge of COVID-19 and the application of health protocols, fulfilment in the pandemic era and online purchase intention. This study also analyses the effect of health protocol and fulfilment on online purchase intention. Design/methodology/approach – This study is a quantitative study with a student population in Yogyakarta. From the total population, 170 respondents were taken by random sampling method. The data in this study are primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. From the data obtained, analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Model method using Partial Least Square with Smart-PLS software. Findings – The results of the analysis in this study indicate that knowledge of COVID-19 is able to have a significant influence on the implementation of health protocols and fulfilment, but knowledge of COVID-19 is not able to significantly influence online purchase intention. The results of the analysis also state that the health protocol is not able to have a significant effect on online purchase intention in students, while fulfilment is able to provide a significant influence on online purchase intention. Research limitations/implications – For further research, it is expected to be able to examine more deeply online purchase intentions across generations and compare them. Further research is also expected to include several other variables that have a role in online shopping behaviour. Practical implications – The results of the analysis in this study also provide recommendations for business people in this pandemic era to emphasize online buying and selling services. Online marketing is also more recommended because the more people understand about COVID-19, the less they do activities outside the home, so the most effective marketing is through social media which is accessed by the public every day. Originality/Value – In contrast to previous studies, this study proposes a model of people's behaviour in shopping online. The analysis in this study formulates the relationship between knowledge of COVID-19, health protocol, fulfilment and online purchase intention.

Abstract

Kegiatan wirausaha para santri sangat berbeda dengan komponen masyarakat lainnya, karena mereka menjadikan agama sebagai landasan kerja. Dengan demikian, wirausahawan santri akan memiliki sifat yang mendorong pribadi-pribadi yang jujur, amanah, kreatif dan handal dalam menjalankan usahanya. Dengan membangun jiwa kewirausahaan mereka dan memberi berbagai bekal ketrampilan, diharapkan pada akhirnya akan terbentuk para wirausahawan muda potensial yang agamis. Artinya santri diharapkan mempunyai pengalaman dan keahlian praktis tertentu yang nantinya dijadikan modal untuk mencari pendapatan hidup ketika keluar dari pesantren. Pelatihan dan pendampingan santripreuner berbasis investasi syariah merupakan salah satu strategi untuk menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha santri pondok pesantren untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Wirausaha dan investasi syariah yang professional dengan semangat jiwa kewirausahaan Pondok Pesantren Se-Kecamatan Galur, Kulonprogo. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat secara keseluruhan dapat dilihat berdasarkan beberapa komponen. Pertama, target peserta pelatihan sebanyak 25 santri pondok pesantren se-kecamatan Galur, KulonProgo. Dalam pelaksanaan diikuti oleh 22 santri. Kedua, ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dapat dinilai cukup baik. Dalam waktu 2 bulan 15 orang santri berusaha memahami investasi berbasis syariah.
