Abstract

Abstract

This study examines how electronic service quality and promotional strategies influence customer satisfaction and loyalty in the Indonesian banking digital ecosystem. Moving beyond linear service models, it introduces a dual-pathway framework in which both functional (e-service) and persuasive (promotion) mechanisms shape satisfaction and loyalty concurrently. Based on a purposive sample of 173 Bank Rakyat Indonesia’s digital users, findings indicate that electronic services and promotions significantly enhance satisfaction, and all three constructs—e-service, promotion, and satisfaction—positively affect customer loyalty. These results reaffirm the satisfaction–loyalty nexus, while highlighting the role of digitally mediated trust and perceived value in sustaining customer commitment. For practitioners, the study urges banks—particularly those with extensive rural reach—to modernize service infrastructures while delivering clear, customer-centered promotions. In an era where customer patience is measured in seconds, loyalty is no longer given—it must be engineered.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of E-Service Quality, E-Satisfaction, and the interaction between E-Service Quality and E-Satisfaction on the formation of E-Student Word of Mouth within the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta. The sample selection involved a combination of convenience sampling and purposive sampling methods. Data collection was accomplished by distributing questionnaires to respondents, addressing aspects of E-Service Quality, E-Satisfaction, and E-WOM. Moderator Regression Analysis (MRA) was employed as the analytical tool. Additionally, T-tests and F-tests were utilized to examine the hypotheses put forth. The results of the partial regression coefficient test using the T-test indicate that both E-Service Quality and E-Satisfaction, as well as their interaction, have a significant influence on E-Student Word of Mouth. Furthermore, the regression coefficient analysis through the F-test demonstrates that the variables E-Service Quality, E-Satisfaction, and their interaction also collectively contribute to the influence on E-WOM. These variables - E-Service Quality, E-Satisfaction, and their interaction - can explain up to 85% of the variance in E-WOM, with the remaining 15% attributed to other variables not included in the research model.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose-This study aims to analyze the role of financial literacy in increasing student entrepreneurial motivation by considering financial behavior as a mediating variable. By building on previous studies on the importance of financial capacity in entrepreneurial decision-making, this study fills the gap regarding how financial literacy and behavior interact in influencing entrepreneurial motivation in the context of students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Methodology-This study used purposive sampling with 163 student respondents in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The questionnaire was distributed online and filled out independently by the students. The data was then processed using SmartPLS 4.0, with validity and reliability tests, as well as hypothesis testing to assess the relationship between variables based on the respondents' answers. Findings-The results show that all hypotheses were accepted. Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior and entrepreneurial motivation. Financial behavior also has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation. In addition, financial behavior was found to significantly mediate the relationship between financial literacy and entrepreneurial motivation, confirming the theoretical framework of the Theory of Planned Behavior. Research Limitations-This study is limited to students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and uses purposive sampling with self-reported data. The research model only covers financial literacy, financial behavior, and entrepreneurial motivation, without considering other variables such as self-efficacy, social support, or other factors that may influence entrepreneurial motivation. Novelty-This study makes a theoretical contribution by integrating financial literacy and financial behavior into a TPB-based entrepreneurial motivation model. Practically, this study confirms that financial education not only increases knowledge but also shapes financial behavior, which is the foundation of entrepreneurial motivation. These findings open up opportunities for further research testing other contextual factors such as family support, self-efficacy, and early business experience.

Abstract

This study analyzes the marketing strategy of Batik Sekarniti micro small medium entreprises through an integrated strengths-weakness-opportunity-threats and digital marketing approach to enhance tourism competitiveness in Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In the creative economy 5.0 era, micro small medium entreprises in the cultural sector must balance traditional craftsmanship with digital innovation to remain competitive. Batik Sekarniti symbolizes Kulonprogo’s cultural identity and has strong potential as a culture-based tourism icon. However, challenges such as limited marketing strategies, weak branding, and low digital marketing adoption hinder growth. This quantitative study surveyed 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling method to test relationships among variables. Results show that strengths-weakness-opportunity-threats  based marketing strategies have a significant positive effect on tourism competitiveness, and this relationship becomes stronger when mediated by digital marketing practices such as social media, e-commerce, and digital storytelling. The integration of strengths-weakness-opportunity-threats and digital marketing enables micro small medium entreprises to expand market reach, strengthen cultural narratives, and enhance regional branding. The implications of this study emphasize the necessity of continuous digital literacy development, collaborative branding programs between micro small medium entreprises and local governments, and policy support for creative economy ecosystems. Strengthening digital ecosystems and knowledge-sharing networks among batik entrepreneurs can foster innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity, positioning Kulonprogo as a competitive culture-driven tourism destination in the 5.0 era.
