Abstract

This is the result of research on the stages of policy formation New Autonomous Region in Bungo. The regional growth is a product of public policy, as the government attempts to solve public problems in order to achieve an effective and efficient service. This study used a qualitative approach by combining the techniques of observation, interviews and document research. The purpose of this study to look at the stages of policy formation of the New Autonomous Region and the factors that hinder the stages of policy formulation formation of New Autonomous Region in Bungo. The results of this study indicate that the stages of policy formation Autonomous Region New Bungo is a stage that is quite complicated and it takes quite a long time which of a collective agreement becomes a public policy, many of the requirements that must be adapted to the conditions and capacity Bungo it itself, as well as various public polemics encountered during the stages of the formation of new autonomous regions.

Abstract

Character Building Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan bertujuan agar terjadi peningkatan potensi dasar Narapidana agar berfikiran baik, berperilaku baik, memperoleh persepktif baru dan bersikap optimis akan masa depan, Penerapan perilaku hidup sehat dengan menjaga pola hidup sehari-hari, berkurangnya jumlah residivis, penerimaan diri terhadap kekurangan dan kelebihan, serta kemampuan untuk kontrol diri dan memiliki tujuan serta prinsip hidup. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan 2 macam metode, pertama metode Diseminasi dan kedua metode Pendampingan. Pendampingan yang diberikan berupa Refleksi Diri agar membantu narapidana memperoleh perspektif baru dan hikmah dari hal-hal yang telah dialami dan bersikap optimis akan masa depan. Berbagai penerapan metode tersebut berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan, inisiatif dan kemauan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan untuk berkomitmen dalam membentuk diri yang positif dengan memperbaiki diri baik dari aspek Kesehatan, agama, hukum dan psikologis.

Abstract

This community service initiative explores the synergistic relationship between village funds and social capital in empowering communities in Rantau Duku, Jambi, Indonesia. Recognizing the potential of village funds as a catalyst for development and the vital role of social capital in facilitating collective action, this project aimed to enhance community capacity to effectively utilize these resources for local development. This project employed a participatory action research (PAR) approach, involving community members in all stages of the initiative. The intervention included capacity-building workshops on village fund management, participatory planning, and conflict resolution, along with facilitating community dialogues to strengthen social cohesion and trust. The project resulted in increased community participation in village development planning and budgeting processes, improved transparency and accountability in village fund management, and enhanced social cohesion among community members. Several community-led initiatives were successfully implemented, including infrastructure improvements, economic empowerment programs, and social welfare programs. In conclusion, this initiative demonstrates the transformative potential of combining village funds with strong social capital to empower communities. By fostering community ownership and participation, and strengthening social cohesion, this approach can effectively cont ribute to sustainable and equitable development in rural Indonesia.
