Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of teachers, identify the obstacles faced, and dissect the impact of the teacher's contribution in strengthening character based on Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in Child-Friendly Schools at SD No. 3 Sempidi. Character issues such as bullying in elementary schools underlie the urgency of integrating Hindu moral values that align pure thoughts (Manacika), words (Wacika), and deeds (Kayika). This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Primary data were gathered through observations and in-depth interviews with the principal, Hindu religion teacher, special assistant teacher, and students, while secondary data were obtained via documentation study. The collected data were analyzed interactively through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers contribute significantly as moral role models through integrated positive discipline practices. The obstacles faced include internal factors such as diverse hereditary traits, emotional instability, and varied learning interests, alongside external factors stemming from influences in the family, school, and community environments. This contribution yields positive transformative impacts on enhancing students' religiosity, inclusive tolerance among religious groups, and improving students' social etiquette and politeness in daily life. This study confirms the effectiveness of synergizing local religious wisdom with child-friendly school programs to realize a safe learning space free from violence.

Abstract

This paper examines the role of teachers in shaping students' spiritual habits through theapplication of behavioristic principles in Hindu Religious Education (PAH) which includesformal (school), non-formal (pasraman), and online-offline learning. The main objective is toidentify how stimulus-response and reinforcement can be designed operationally to strengthenspiritual habits such as ritual discipline, empathy, tolerance, and dharma attitudes in students'daily lives, while nurturing Hindu cultural values (Tri Kaya Parisudha and Sad Dharma).Conceptual methods are used to formulate a behavior-based instructional design framework,followed by multidimensional evaluation guidelines (cognitive, affective, psychomotor) that linkritual actions to learning consequences. Practically, the role of teachers includes (a) being a rolemodel and facilitator of reflection through consistent feedback; (b) designing explicit stimuli(tattwa, morality, events) that are combined with positive reinforcement (rewards, roles,certificates) and educational reinforcement (explanation of action consequences); and (c)integrating instructional designs such as blended learning, behavior-oriented problem-basedapproaches (PBL), and multidimensional rubric-based evaluations. This writing contributes tothe development of PAH learning models that are more systematic, dharma-value-oriented, andculturally and globally relevant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode kerja kelompok pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa kelas V SD No. 5 Pelaga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan guru Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti serta siswa kelas V sebagai sumber informasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif melalui proses pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diperiksa melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil peneliti\an menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kerja kelompok memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan karakter disiplin melalui pembagian tugas, pengelolaan waktu, kepatuhan terhadap aturan, tanggung jawab, dan penyelesaian tugas secara bersama. Kegiatan kelompok juga mendorong siswa lebih aktif berinteraksi, bekerja sama, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap keberhasilan kelompok. Dalam perspektif Pendidikan Agama Hindu, pembentukan karakter tersebut memiliki keterkaitan dengan nilai Tri Kaya Parisudha dan Tat Twam Asi. Dengan demikian, metode kerja kelompok dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang mendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa.
