Abstract

The KSO APS ISS company is one of the cleaning companies in Indonesia which is located in the Tangerang Banten area. In carrying out its work cycle operations, it uses a lot of chemicals, heavy level machines and potentially dangerous B3 materials. During work there are various potential and risk factors that cause work accidents and work-related illnesses. Company performance, especially in terms of work productivity, is often disrupted as a result of ignoring occupational safety and health rules in carrying out work. The aim of this research is to find out what factors cause work accidents and how to prevent or control risks in Glass Cleaning work in order to reduce the occurrence of work accidents. This research uses the Job Safety Analysis method. The Job Safety Analysis method is a way to look at work techniques and find dangers from the design of machines, equipment, materials, climate and work processes needed by workers to do their work. The research design used is qualitative which is used to describe explanations related to hazard identification, risk evaluation and risk control in glass cleaning work. The results of research using the JSA identification method contained no extreme and high risk jobs, 3 medium risk jobs and 5 low risk jobs.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang tire manufacturing mulai dari ban jenisroda dua, ban kendaraan penumpang yang berjenis radial, ban truk dan bis radial sampai ban untukkendaraan dan alat-alat berat. Laboratorium pengujian ban di perusahaan tersebut setiap harinya selalumendapatkan komplain dari pelanggannya terkait pelayanan yang diberikan. Salah satu keluhannyamengenai tidak di progress nya suatu area dan juga kurangnya kualitas pembersihan suatu area atauarea tersebut masih kotor. Hal tersebut menandakan adanya ketidakpuasan pelanggan yang diberikan.Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya suatu analisis dan perbaikan kualitas layanan yang prima agar pelayananyang diberikan bisa maksimal. Adapun metode yang digunakan peneliti yaitu metode Service Quality(SERVQUAL) dimana metode SERVQUAL bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kepuasan pelangganberdasarkan pelayanan yang diberikan. Metode Pengumpulan Data dalam penelitian didapatkanmelalui metode, pertama adalah Metode Observasi, yaitu metode pengumpulan data dilakukan denganmelakukan pengamatan secara langsung pada obyek penelitian. Kedua Metode Kuesioner, yaitumetode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada pengguna jasa dilaboratorium, di mana dalam kuisioner tersebut bersifat tertutup dan berisikan pertanyaan dan jawabanyang telah disediakan yang berkaitan dengan pelayanan yang telah diberikan.Secara keseluruhan, kinerja Pengujian R&D berdasarkan survey dari 29 responden adalah 4,33 yangberarti berada pada tingkat baik dengan skala likert 1 sampai 5 (1:sangat buruk; 2:buruk ; 3:dapatditerima ; 4:baik ; 5:sangat baik). Berdasarkan rata-rata performance dan importance pada tabel 4.1,gap antara kinerja dan kepentingan (performance dan importance) adalah 0,02 artinya kinerjapelayanan sangat baik atau memuaskan pelanggan. Interseksi anatara analisis SERVQUAL dan IPA,layanan yang perlu lebih banyak berkonsentrasi untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut adalah penjadwalanpengujian dan pengiriman laporan tepat waktu.

Abstract

In a company there are several machines and each machine has specifications that can be used for the process of making products where each machine has advantages and disadvantages. The aim of this research is to find out how to design tools that suit the needs of t-shirt screen printing operators using an anthropometric approach  and to find out whether the design of these tools can help operators be safer and more comfortable when carrying out the t-shirt screen printing process in the Industrial Engineering Laboratory and this research was carried out in a comprehensive manner. observational using the anthropometric measurement method and using the Nordic Body Map recapitulation by taking 3 operator samples for the anthropometric measurement method and distributing questionnaires to 12 operators. Then the results are processed and the highest score is obtained, namely at the pressing work station with an individual score (50-70) with a moderate risk level, improvements may be needed. The anthropometric measurement method was carried out by measuring 3 samples of t-shirt printing operators, then calculating the average, standard deviation and percentile calculation using the 50th percentile and the final results were obtained for the design size of the table aid with height: 85, width: 70 and length: 151

Abstract

The Sumbagut Gas Engine Power Plant (PLTMG) operating in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, recorded 19 minor workplace accidents during 2024. In response to this condition, this study aims to identify the risk factors and main causes of workplace accidents in order to develop effective prevention recommendations. This study uses two integrated risk analysis methods. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is applied to assess and prioritize the level of occupational safety and health (OHS) risks in operational activities. The results of the FMEA analysis indicate that fingers caught in a press machine are the highest risk with a Risk Priority Number (RPN) of 252. Despite having a lower frequency, electrocution incidents are also identified as a critical risk due to their very high potential for fatality. Furthermore, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is used to dissect these highest risks, successfully identifying seven (7) basic events that are the root causes of accidents. These causal factors include human error (lack of focus), technical failure (sensors or machine hydraulics), and administrative failure (ignored LOTO procedures). Based on the FMEA and FTA findings, this study presents strategic recommendations to the management of the Sumbagut Gas Processing Plant (GPP) to minimize and prevent future accidents.   Keywords: FMEA, FTA, Occupational Safety and Health

Abstract

Rolling resistance is the force used by the wheel against the direction of motion, equal to the force required to move the wheel forward. The research was conducted at the Tire Testing Laboratory of PT. Gajah Tunggal Tbk at Jalan Gatot Subroto km7 Jatiuwung Tangerang City. To support product development and certification, PTGT currently has 2 Rolling resistance (RR) machines.The purpose of this study is that the measurement results in the Testing at the Gajah Tunggal tire testing laboratory can be accepted and recognized internationally, the RR Testing machine at the PTGT tire testing laboratory must be aligned with the reference RR engine as specified in the regulations. described in ISO 28580 clause 10. Alignment Procedures and Measurement Machine Monitoring Requirements to be followed to harmonize measurement results and allow direct inter-laboratory comparisons. This procedure shall be applied to any measuring machine whose results are claimed to conform to International Standards. The test results on the DRR-1 engine the lowest value is 6.97 and the highest value is 10.33 is 3.17 kg/ton. This maximum and minimum difference value also meets the predetermined target, which is approximately equal to 3kg/ton and the reproducibility rate is 0.015 kg/ton. The correlation value is indicated by R squared (R2), which is 0.9939 for the DRR-1 test machine. The DRR-1 rolling resistance machine complies with the regulations required by ISO 28580 and the measurement value of the machine is internationally accepted and recognized.

Abstract

Laboratorium Teknik Industri Universitas Pamulang digunakan untuk aktivitas penyablonan pakaian dan topi yang akan dipasarkan ke masyarakat lingkungan UNPAM. Dalam  aktivitas penyablonan operator sering mengalami keluhan musculoskeletal atau dikenal dengan gangguan sistem gerak pada bagian punggung, pergelangan tangan, leher dan bahu. Keluhan ini diakibatkan fasilitas alat bantu atau meja sablon yang tidak sesuai dengan ukuran tubuh operator. Oleh sebab itu perlu perancangan alat bantu yang dapat mempermudah aktivitas penyablonan. Rancangan alat bantu adalah proses mendesain dan mengembangkan alat bantu, metode dan teknik yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas manufaktur. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengukuran Antropometri melalui rekapitulasi kuesioner Nordic Body map dengan 10 responden yang menjadi operator. Hasil dari pengelolahan Rekapitulasi kuesioner Nordic Body Map kemudian di olah dan didapatkan skor individu (28-49) dengan level risiko rendah belum perlu tindakan, skor individu (50-70) dengan level risiko sedang mungkin diperlukan perbaikan dan skor individu (71-90) dengan level risiko sangat tinggi diperlukan tindakan menyeluruh segera mungkin. Selanjutnya, hasil menggunakan metode pengukuran Antropometri pada rancangan alat bantu meja pada penyablonan topi menggunakan persentil 50 dengan ukuran tinggi 98 cm, lebar 68 cm dan panjang 101 cm. Kesimpulannya, rancangan alat bantu meja sablon yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operator di Laboratorium Teknik Industri akan diberikan rancangan stasiun kerja baru untuk mempermudah aktivitas penyablonan yang dibuat berdasarkan ukuran antropometri.
