Abstract

The level of housing density in a settlement is followed by limited space around the house that is utilized and empowered for the yard. The existence of homeowners will also determine the form of yard utilization as part of the action of environmental conservation, waste utilization and urban agriculture education. This community service aims to improve community skills in utilizing limited space as part of the action of environmental conservation, waste utilization and urban agriculture education in the community through joint activities carried out by the team. This activity uses a participatory model that involves community components such as lurah, community leaders, neighborhood heads, and the community. The implementation of the activity was carried out with the main target being the Sitinjak Village community. The number of participants was 15 people. The location of this community service was carried out at the Sitinjak Village Head Office, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency. This type of service is health promotion by providing information and demonstration of planting green beans by utilizing plastic waste in a limited space. The methods used in this activity were mung bean planting, health promotion, discussion and question and answer. The final results seen from this training activity are that most of the community can find out the materials and tools needed in the process of planting green beans in a confined space and know exactly the steps needed in the manufacturing process. All participants of the activity stated that this community service was very useful because it could increase the knowledge and skills of the community in planting green beans in confined spaces.

Abstract

The use of food additives (BTP) in the food production process needs to be watched out together, both by producers and by consumers. The impact of its use can have positive or negative consequences for society. Deviation in its use will endanger us together, especially the younger generation as the successor of nation development. This community service program aims to provide knowledge to students about food additives that are harmful to health and encourage students to consume foods that do not contain harmful chemicals. The target of the extension activities is the students of SDN 200514 in Labuhan Labo Village. Based on preliminary investigations, students did not know the dangers of food containing hazardous chemicals such as rhodamine B dye, borax preservative, MSG flavoring and artificial sweeteners. It cannot be denied that everyone, especially schoolchildren, really likes food snacks. Therefore, traders strive to give children an attractive appearance and taste by using certain ingredients regardless of safety. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out activities that include counseling about food additives that are harmful to health. This activity has contributed to improving the level of public health, especially for children to adolescents since they were in elementary school.

Abstract

Exploring potential and seeking opportunities, especially from the economic sector and creative industry must be done by upgrading capabilities and skills, to be managed again. One of them is the use of used clothes into new products, which will be carried out in this mentoring process. With the aim that the community is able to find and process used clothes that are owned into new products that have new benefits and are of sale value. The learning method used is two-way communication (instructors and participants) by doing demonstrations, practice and evaluation. The teaching materials used are handouts and presentation media (PPT), leaflets, LCD, In focus, sound system. Meanwhile, the tools and materials used are used t-shirts, scissors, and hand needles and sewing threads. The result of this activity is the enthusiasm of the students / participants in managing used clothes by seeing the results of practice based on their respective ideas. With the results of the product and the positive response from this activity, it was seen that the students / participants were interested in re-developing products from used clothes with follow-up meetings / activities.

Abstract

Perubahan kehidupan saat ini yang terjadi dikarenakan fenomena pandemi yang terjadi. Menjadikan banyak perubahan yang berarti pada pola kehidupan semua orang. Banyak hal yang harus dilakukan untuk menyeimbangkan diri. Salah satunya adalah pengelolaan produk dengan mengaplikasikan sulaman benang untuk meningkatkan nilai produk yang akan dilakukan pada proses pendampingan ini. Dengan tujuan agar Masyarakat mengetahui produk yang memungkinkan untuk dapat dikembangkan dengan meningkatkan nilai jual produk salah satunya dengan mengaplikasikan tusuk dasar sulaman tangan. Metode pelasanaan yang digunakan adalah komunikasi dua arah (instruktur dan peserta) dengan melakukan demonstrasi, praktek dan evaluasi. Bahan ajar yang digunakan adalah handout dan media presentasi (PPT), Leaflet, LCD, In focus, Sound System. Sedangkan alat dan bahan yang digunakan alat sulam benang seperti jarum tangan dan benang sulam, ram (pembidang), masker kain dan sarung bantal kursi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemaparan materi tentang peningkatan produk melalui pengaplikasian sulaman benang menunjukkan antusiasme peserta dalam kegiatan ini. Praktek beberapa jenis tusuk dasar sulaman benang yang diaplikasikan langsung pada masker kain dan sarung bantal menjadi satu keterampilan baru bagi peserta.

Abstract

Folklore is an example of a culture that exists today and must be preserved because most people today hardly even remember what folklore is. Because folklore comes from the community, that community should also preserve cultural heritage, namely folklore. Based on the background of the research, the researcher will focus on analyzing the Cultural Values ​​in the folklore of Putri Runduk Sibolga because culture is closely related to our lives as for the cultural values ​​that are focused on. namely cultural values ​​in human relations with religiosity, cultural values ​​in human relations with humans, cultural values ​​from human relationships with nature. Based on the description above, the researcher wants to examine more deeply the cultural values ​​contained in the folklore of Putri Runduk Sibolga.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis which spreads through the air and is contracted through saliva splashes when sufferers cough, sneeze, talk and spit in any place. Tuberculosis is still a disease with a high morbidity rate. Therefore, knowledge about Pulmonary Tuberculosis and its prevention is very important as a strategy in breaking the chain of transmission of this disease, especially if it is also supported by a positive and appropriate attitude that will produce healthy behavior, so that it can assist the government in controlling disease transmission. Pulmonary Tuberculosis with maximum. This community service aims to increase youth knowledge about pulmonary TB prevention in the rainy season as an effort to control infectious diseases at Angkola Barat 1 Public Middle School. This community service activity was attended by 30 class IX students. This activity was carried out by delivering counseling materials and installing posters about pulmonary TB at SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. This activity was also interspersed with discussions and questions and answers. The results of this community service activity were received enthusiastically by students. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could add insight into knowledge related to TB disease and of course affect habits in daily life.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Narcotics are natural, synthetic and semi-synthetic substances or drugs which can cause a decrease in consciousness, hallucinations and excitability in humans. According to Law no. 39 of 2009 concerning Narcotics states that narcotics are artificial substances or even those derived from plants that have hallucinatory effects, decrease consciousness, and cause addiction. These drugs can be addictive if used excessively. Utilization of these substances is as a painkiller and provide peace. Its misuse can be subject to legal sanctions. Youth is the future asset of a nation. But nowadays a lot is happening to teenagers, such as drugs and juvenile delinquency such as motorcycle gangs. Therefore, knowledge about drugs and juvenile delinquency is very important as a strategy in reducing things that can harm the future of adolescents. This community service aims to increase students' knowledge about drugs and juvenile delinquency. This community service activity was attended by 30 class IX students. This activity was carried out by delivering counseling materials about drugs and juvenile delinquency at SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. This activity was also interspersed with discussions and questions and answers. The results of this community service activity were received enthusiastically by students. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could add insight into knowledge about drugs and juvenile delinquency which affect habits in everyday life. Abstract

One of the goods that is needed by humans, both to maintain personal hygiene and environmental hygiene / sanitation is soap. Soap is a surfactant that is used with water for washing and cleaning. This community service aims to improve community skills in making dish soap through training conducted by the team. This activity uses a participatory model involving community components such as village heads, community leaders, environmental heads, and the community. The implementation of the activity was carried out with the main target being the Sitinjak Village community. The number of participants was 30 people. The location of this community service was carried out at the Sitinjak Village Head Office, Angkola Barat District, South Tapanuli Regency. This type of service is health promotion by providing information and demonstrations as well as training in making dish soap. The method used in this activity is in the form of training, discussion and question and answer. The visible end result of this training activity is that most people know the materials and tools needed in the process of making this dishwashing soap and know exactly the steps required in the manufacturing process. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could increase the community's knowledge and skills in making dishwashing soap.

Adapun tujuan daripada penyuluhan ini adalah untuk memberikan pendiikan dalam pembinaan terhadap Narapidana di Lapas padangsidimpusn tenggra dengan tujuan pembinaan yang tertuang dalam undang-undang republik Indonesia Nomor 12 Pada Tahun 1995 tentang lambaga pemasyrakatan,dan juga untuk menentukan tentang tata cara pembinaan yang harus dilakukan kepada Narapidasna di lembaga Pemasyarakatan Keccamatan Padangsidimpuan Tenggara Tahun 2023 dan dqata yang diambil melalui angket,dokumentasi dan observasi di lembaga Pemasyarakatan Padangsidimpuan Tenggara,Narapidana dan juga Petugas Lembaga Pemasyarakatan,berdasarkan hasil analisa tersebut maka ditemukan jawaban tentang Bagaimana Tinjauan Hukum Negara Republik Indonesia Nomor 12 thun1995 Tentang lembaga Pemasyarakatan dengan Pembinaan narapidana Di lapas Padangsidimpuan Tenggara sebagian besar sudah baik,namun ada juga beberapa hal yang harus diperbaiki.
