Abstract

The Electronic Medical Record Storage System aims to increase efficiency at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital. However, based on the initial survey conducted, it was discovered that the medical record storage system was still carried out manually. Borrowed medical records are recorded in the expedition book before being borrowed and distributed by officers so that it takes time to get to the unit concerned. Officers store medical records not according to the shelves based on the patient's medical record number and many medical records are damaged/recorded. This research aims to design an electronic medical record storage system at Bhayangkara Hospital, Bengkulu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the waterfall method. The subjects of this research were medical records and IT officers. The research data used is primary data obtained by observation using a checklist sheet, then the data is processed and analyzed univariately. The result of this research is a design for an electronic medical record storage system that is ready to be implemented. Through this implementation, it is hoped that efficiency and accuracy in medical record management can be improved. The suggestions put forward are to make changes to the medical record file storage shelves to make them more orderly, provide training to officers in using the new system, and carry out impact evaluations to measure efficiency and patient satisfaction due to system changes.

Abstract

Sistem retensi rekam medis elektronik merupakan bagian dari tata kelola rekam medis elektronik yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keutuhan dan ketersediaan data rekam medis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui Rumah Sakit X Bengkulu masih menggunakan retensi konvensional dimana data berkas rekam medis yang telah diretensi tidak dicatat dan tidak diarsipkan ke dalam buku retensi, sehingga pada saat pasien bersangkutan datang kembali berobat menyebabkan petugas filing memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama untuk ditelusuri berkas rekam medis agar pasien bisa mendapatkan pelayanan medis. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk menyampaikan informasi hasil penelitian yang berupa perancangan e-retensi berkas rekam medis dengan metode waterfall dan memberikan pelatihan prosedur penggunakan aplikasi e-retensi. Metode Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam bentuk penyampaian materi dan diskusi, serta pelatihan prosedur penggunaan aplikasi e-retensi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berjalan lancar dengan hasil pengetahuan dan pemahaman petugas filing terkait fungsi e-retensi dalam mendukung efiensi masa simpan berkas rekam medis.

Abstract

The level of housing density in a settlement is followed by limited space around the house that is utilized and empowered for the yard. The existence of homeowners will also determine the form of yard utilization as part of the action of environmental conservation, waste utilization and urban agriculture education. This community service aims to improve community skills in utilizing limited space as part of the action of environmental conservation, waste utilization and urban agriculture education in the community through joint activities carried out by the team. This activity uses a participatory model that involves community components such as lurah, community leaders, neighborhood heads, and the community. The implementation of the activity was carried out with the main target being the Sitinjak Village community. The number of participants was 15 people. The location of this community service was carried out at the Sitinjak Village Head Office, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency. This type of service is health promotion by providing information and demonstration of planting green beans by utilizing plastic waste in a limited space. The methods used in this activity were mung bean planting, health promotion, discussion and question and answer. The final results seen from this training activity are that most of the community can find out the materials and tools needed in the process of planting green beans in a confined space and know exactly the steps needed in the manufacturing process. All participants of the activity stated that this community service was very useful because it could increase the knowledge and skills of the community in planting green beans in confined spaces.

Abstract

Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records states that every health service must conduct electronic medical record activities, one of which is reporting hospital service indicators. Hospital X's reporting application has not been fully implemented and utilized. This is because it only provides menus for BOR and AvLOS indicators, resulting in calculations using the application differing from manual calculations. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Hospital Service Indicator Reporting Application at Hospital X in 2024. This study was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects were medical records and IT staff, as well as the reporting application participants. The data used in this study were primary data, using interview guidelines and observation sheets. The data were then processed and analyzed univariately. The results of this study show that there is a difference in the number of beds between the BOR and AvLOS indicator menus in the reporting application and the Decree of the Director of Hospital X, resulting in differences in the calculation results of Hospital service indicators based on the 2006 Indonesian Ministry of Health which can result in errors in decision making, while the TOI and BTO indicator menus are not yet available so it is necessary to develop a Hospital reporting system design.

Abstract

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree No. HK.02.02/Menkes/514/2015, states that pneumonia is one of the diseases frequently leading to medical disputes, resulting in losses for hospitals. Based on an initial survey of 10 pneumonia medical records, five files contained missing supporting examination results (chest x-ray), two files contained incomplete physical examinations, and three files contained complete records (chest x-ray, physical examination), leading to doubts about the pneumonia diagnosis codes written in the medical records. This study aimed to determine the accuracy of pneumonia diagnosis codes by examining the results of physical examinations and medical support at Hospital X in 2024. This study was a quantitative descriptive study with a population and sample of 96 medical records of pneumonia cases. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data, using interview guidelines and observation sheets. The data were then processed and analyzed univariately using frequency distribution. The results of the study revealed that the completeness of the physical examination results and medical support was 38 (39%), the accuracy of the physical examination results and medical support was 35 (36%), and the accuracy of the pneumonia diagnosis code was 47 (49%). It is hoped that the Head of Medical Records will conduct a medical record audit through qualitative analysis to minimize the occurrence of medical disputes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan peralihan dari rekam medis manual ke rekam medis elektronik (RME) di RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi kesiapan sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit (SIMRS) melalui wawancara dan kuesioner terhadap 30 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek sumber daya manusia, 40% responden menyatakan siap, sedangkan 60% belum siap, terutama dalam hal pelatihan penggunaan sistem RME. Dari aspek infrastruktur teknologi informasi, 100% perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan jaringan telah tersedia dan siap digunakan, meskipun tetap diperlukan pemeliharaan rutin. Dari aspek budaya kerja, 67% responden menyatakan bahwa budaya kerja di rumah sakit siap untuk mendukung transisi ini, sementara 33% lainnya merasa kurang siap dalam menghadapi perubahan alur kerja akibat implementasi sistem baru. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan infrastruktur telah memadai, namun masih terdapat kendala dalam kesiapan sumber daya manusia dan budaya kerja yang perlu diperhatikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan intensif serta strategi manajemen perubahan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan staf dalam menghadapi transformasi sistem rekam medis guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pengelolaan data pasien.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas secara komprehensif tentang peluang dan kelayakan bisnis Islami di Kota Palembang. Dengan mayoritas penduduk Muslim dan meningkatnya kesadaran terhadap gaya hidup halal, Palembang memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan ekonomi syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggali kondisi riil, peluang pengembangan, faktor-faktor kelayakan, serta implementasi prinsip syariah dalam praktik bisnis lokal. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa bisnis Islami di Palembang mengalami pertumbuhan positif, ditunjang oleh dukungan kelembagaan, kebijakan pemerintah, dan inovasi digital. Namun demikian, masih terdapat tantangan seperti rendahnya literasi ekonomi syariah dan keterbatasan akses teknologi. Dengan optimalisasi potensi yang ada, Palembang dapat menjadi pusat pertumbuhan bisnis Islami yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif di wilayah Sumatera Selatan.

Abstract

e-retensi merupakan salah satu bagian pengelolaan rekam medis elektronik yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keutuhan dan ketersediaan data rekam medis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui Rumah Sakit X Bengkulu masih menggunakan retensi konvensional, dimana data berkas rekam medis yang telah diretensi tidak dicatat dalam buku retensi, sehingga menyebabkan petugas filing memerlukan waktu cukup lama untuk ditelusuri berkas rekam medis pada saat pasien datang kembali berobat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi dan wawasan kepada petugas terkait pentingnya e-retensi di Rumah Sakit. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali dengan metode sosialisasi dan diskusi interaktif mengenai pentingnya pemahaman petugas filing dalam mendukung upaya implementasi e-retensi. Dari hasil evaluasi, diketahui bahwa pemahaman petugas filing sebelum dan sesudah diberikan sosialisasi meningkat menjadi 70% dimana sebelum diberikan edukasi rerata pretest 56,00 dan setelah diberikan edukasi rerata nilai posttest menjadi 95,00. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai upaya optimalisasi meningkatkan pemahaman petugas filing dalam meminimalisir rekam medis yang tidak tersimpan dalam e-retensi serta mendukung keberhasilan migrasi retensi konvensional ke elektronik.
