Abstract

The need for information for the public cannot be avoided and is limited because of the limitations now that Indonesia is entering the data era as part of the principle of a democratic state that requires the general public to be a state, which is supported by Law No. information documentation (PPID) to appreciate fast, precise, and easy services, by creating and developing a system of information service providers. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research was conducted at the Office of Communication, Information and Passwords, Simeulue Regency. The theory used is Organizational Communication. Based on the research findings, the Information Communications Office of Simeulue Regency, as the information coordinator, reports to the Head of the Service who is also the Main PPID. PPID assistants are Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). Barriers to public information service organizations, such as the lack of information about cultural activities and performance, which have not been fully implemented by most public entities.

Abstract

Protocol is a series of activities related to order in the state or official events, including placement, ceremonial procedures, and procedures for respect, as a form of respect for a person based on his position in the state, government, or society. This protocol is described in Law Number 9 of 2010 concerning Place Arrangements, Honorary Procedures, and Government Regulation Number 62 of 1990 concerning Provisions for Placement Procedures, Honorary Procedures, and Respect Procedures. The purpose of this research is to know the working mechanism of Public Relations and Protocol of the Office of Communication, Information and Encryption of Simeulue Regency and the obstacles faced when implementing the work mechanism. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was carried out during public relations and protocol training which was held directly at the Office of Communication, Information and Encryption, Simeulue Regency. The theory used is organizational communication theory and public communication theory. The results of this study explain that in order to carry out the work mechanism of Public Relations and Protocol in Simeulue Regency, it is necessary to prepare protocol officers who play a dominant role in protocol activities which basically add color and image to the success of organizing state events or ceremonies or as well as influencing the image of the national government, the state. sections, centers and regions.

Abstract

Website saat ini menjadi salah satu media yang dimanfatkan oleh instansi daerah dalam menyalurkan informasi kepada masyarakat. Namun pemanfaatan website oleh masyarakat sangatlah sedikit bahkan ada yang tidak memahami cara penggunaan website serta ada beberapa masyarakat yang tidak memanfaatkan website. Pengelolaan website oleh pemerintah daerah sudah sangat baik hal ini sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2008 tentang  Keterbukaan Informasi Publik yang mana kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi tidak dapat dihindari atau dibatasi., akan tetapi dari kurangnya pemanfaatan webite oleh masyarakat, hal ini menjadi suatu permasalahan yang penting untuk lihat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana website simeuluekab.go.id dikelola dan kendala apa saja yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaannya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian lapangan kualitatif dengan fokus deskriptif. Teori informasi organisasi dan teori media baru yang digunakan dalam kerangka teori penelitian. Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Perandian (Diskominsa) Kabupaten Simeulue menjadi lokasi penelitian ini. Dari hasil temuan penelitian lapangan dapat di simpulkan bahwa Diskominsa Kabupaten Simeulue saat ini dalam menyebarluaskan informasi publik melalui website simeuluekab.go.id, sebagai pengelola website adalah Humas Diskominsa Kabupaten Simeulue dalam praktiknya, ada redaktur, pengurus, dan wartawan, dalam penyampaian dan penyebaran berita. Selain website, Diskominsa sudah memanfaatkan instagram untuk penyebaran informasi publik.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of traditional shipyard stakeholders regarding the importance of feasibility studies in implementing ship docking technology. The program was conducted at CV Wahana Karya, a traditional shipyard in Pasi Pinang Village, Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency, involving the owner, director, and operational workers. A participatory knowledge transfer approach was applied through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The materials covered feasibility study concepts, their role in decision-making, and the potential benefits of docking technology. Data were collected through observation, discussion, and participant feedback, and analyzed descriptively. The results show an increased understanding among participants regarding the role of feasibility studies in supporting efficient and informed decision-making. However, implementation readiness remains limited due to financial constraints, workforce preparedness, and resistance to change. This activity demonstrates that knowledge transfer is essential in bridging research and practice and serves as an initial step toward improving operational efficiency in traditional shipyards.

Abstract

The importance of guidance on writing scientific articles for students which is carried out based on field research and analysis, in order to improve their competence as campus people. The purpose of this service is to understand and have the ability to write scientific papers for students of UIN Ar-Raniry and University of Teuku Umar (UTU). This guidance is carried out on the basis of students' lack of ability to produce scientific articles that can inspire the public. The advantages that can be obtained from these contributions are considered to arouse talent, interest, and enthusiasm as well as the enthusiasm of academic people to work. After conducting guidance on student productivity as an effort to develop intelligence to produce written works, also at least students are increasingly motivated to work to realize the ethics and personality of insightful undergraduates on campus. In this condition, it was seen that the guidance students (participants) were very enthusiastic about carrying out the assignments given by the resource persons. The assignments and exercises given complete the scientific articles of each participant. Enriching scientific knowledge in the form of articles for journals and books as a standard for a university graduate.

Abstract

The Ministry of Religions' success indicator for religious advice is reflected in the level of the community's satisfaction index with the performance of the head of the KUA in providing an excellent service to the community. For this reason, it is important to promote academic work for the headmen that is the result of researching or studying Islamic marriage law, developing the headmen, or improving the services of the KUA in areas related to the headmen. The results achieved through this community service activity are fostering the talents and interests of the headmen in writing and the creativity in improving their writing skills, at least encouraging them to write as a Muslim intellectual tradition. As evidence, there were several headmen who submit assignments in the form of scientific writing for guidance. In addition, the results of this activity add to the nuances and insights of the headmen in writing and learn how to write scientific writing techniques in the form of journals and books as a link between society and government and vice versa.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Reguler Angkatan XXIV Universitas Teuku Umar (UTU) tahun 2025 telah selesai dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Aceh Barat, yang mana bertujuan untuk pemberdayaan dan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat di Desa Pasi Birah, Kecamatan Woyla, Kabupaten Aceh Barat dengan melalui program pendidikan agama islam dalam upaya menanamkan nila-nilai generasi desa yang mencintai islam dimulai dari sejak usia dini. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan persuasif yang melibatkan pemerintahan desa dan seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam membantu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Program utama kelompok kami yaitu meliputi Gerakan Mari Mengaji (Germaji) dan Perlombaan Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) perdana Desa Pasi Birah. Program Germaji berhasil memberikan manfaat dan dampak yang sangat positif bagi generasi Desa Pasi Birah. Program MTQ menjadikan bukti keberhasilan penerapan program Germaji. Program ini menjadi program berkelanjutan pemerintahan desa setempat serta membentuk generasi Desa Pasi Birah yang islami dan madani.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Regular Angkatan XXIV Universitas Teuku Umar dilaksanakan di gampong Alue Sundak, Kecamatan Woyla, Kabupaten Aceh Barat dengan fokus pada pengembangan kebun gizi sebagai sarana edukasi dan pemenuhan gizi keluarga. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan lahan perkarangan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan rumah tangga sekaligus pencegahan stunting. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang mencakup tahapan observasi, penyuluhan gizi, pelatihan pembuatan kebun gizi, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Komoditas yang dibudidayakan meliputi bayam, kangkung, sawi, mentimun, kacang panjang, dan singkong. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pentingnya konsumsi sayur, keterampilan dalam bercocok tanam sederhana, serta keterlibatan aktif ibu rumah tangga dan kader posyandu dalam pengelolaan kebun gizi. Program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada perubahan perilaku konsumsi yang lebih sehat, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi strategi berkelanjutan dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan mencegah stunting di tingkat desa.

Abstract

The development of micro, small and medium enterprises is one of the state opinions that the government really pays attention to because it is proven by the government's serious attention in developing micro, small and medium enterprises in Indonesia. Naga Raya is a district in Aceh Province, Indonesia with the capital being Suka Makmue. Nagan Raya Regency Diskominfotik is one of the parties that takes part in managing the event and provides information about events that will take place as a form of implementing the work program. This research was studied based on the concept of communication strategy according to Porter (in Nila, 2014), namely planning, implementation and evaluation. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research, namely Diskominfotik, target information targets for the 2023 Rameune Nagan Raya Expo event, namely MSME actors, entrepreneurs and the general public. Dissemination of information about the 2023 MSME RNRE event by Diskominfotik, namely through news on the website, Instagram and Tiktok. In developing this message, Diskominfotik collaborated with the Instagram accounts @loennagan and @pemkabnara, tiktok @loennagan as well as local media websites, namely Antara Foto, Serambinews, Rakyat Welfare, National Elasi, Indo Satu, Aceh Express, Editorial and Nagan Raya Regency Government.

Abstract

Household resilience among farming communities remains a critical issue in Indonesia’s agricultural development, particularly amid persistent production constraints and heterogeneous policy interventions across regions. This study aims to examine the relationship between agricultural income, production-related challenges, and various forms of social and agricultural assistance in shaping farm household resilience across Indonesian provinces. The analysis employs data from the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP), using provinces as the unit of analysis. The methodological approach combines descriptive statistics, classification of income-based resilience risk, partial correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression estimated using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The results reveal substantial heterogeneity in farm household resilience across provinces. Provinces classified as high-risk are predominantly characterized by households in the vulnerable and moderately resilient categories, reflecting structural limitations in agricultural income and access to productive inputs. Regression estimates indicate that consumption-oriented assistance, particularly Village Fund Cash Transfers, has a negative and statistically significant association with the Food Security Index, whereas productive support in the form of subsidized fertilizer exhibits a positive effect, albeit with limited statistical significance. These findings suggest that assistance programs do not automatically enhance farm household resilience; rather, their effectiveness depends critically on the orientation and function of the intervention. The study underscores the importance of regionally differentiated policy approaches that integrate short-term social protection with long-term strategies aimed at strengthening agricultural productivity and income sustainability.
