Tumors or neoplasms are abnormal solid lesions that form due to improper cell growth, and cancer is a malignant tumor. Risk factors for any cancer are free radicals, secondary lifestyle, lack of healthy food, and exposure to radiation. Cancer has high morbidity and mortality. And death due to late detection, and the lack of knowledge of most people about this disease, for example, early manifestations, what to do when finding a lump on the body, tests that can be done and early detection of cancer, and others, could be the main reasons. Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the highest malignancies globally and is the second leading cause of death in women in Indonesia. Pap Smear cytology detects precancerous lesions as precursor lesions and is indicated for all married women regularly. The discovery of precancerous lesions must prompt immediate treatment to prevent the progression to cervical cancer. We facilitated counseling and Pap Smear examination. This program aimed to raise public awareness and knowledge regarding the importance of early detection of cervical cancer and cervical precancerous lesions. Counseling and examination activities were held on Saturday, 15th October 2022, at AR.Bunda Hospital, Prabumulih, South Sumatera. This community service has involved 46 participants. The majority of Pap Smear results were non-specific chronic cervicitis, classified as Negative for Intraepithelial Lesion or Malignancy (NILM). Prevention of cervical cancer may be conducted through counseling and early detection.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the halal travel scheme in Indonesia and evaluate its compliance with sharia economic law, particularly focusing on standards set by DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 108/2016. Method: Using normative legal methods through a study of relevant legal regulations and literature, especially DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 108/2016. The study focuses on key sharia principles and assesses their application within the halal trip scheme, especially through innovations like the "Halal Tripnesian" platform. Result: The findings demonstrate that Indonesia's halal trip scheme largely aligns with sharia compliance standards, effectively incorporating critical elements such as halal-certified food, prayer facilities, and sharia-compliant accommodations. Despite facing challenges, including diverse interpretations of sharia law, a lack of unified global halal certification, and varying levels of halal literacy among stakeholders, the overall implementation has shown strong adherence to sharia principles. Technological innovations, particularly through digital platforms, have enhanced the accessibility and convenience of halal travel, supporting the growth of the sector and positioning Indonesia as a leading destination for Muslim-friendly tourism. Contribution: This study provides insights into the strengths and weaknesses of Indonesia’s halal travel scheme, highlighting the importance of regulatory support, digital innovation, and stakeholder education in ensuring sharia compliance. The research suggests that continued efforts in harmonizing halal standards and improving halal literacy are essential for sustaining growth and competitiveness in the global halal tourism market.

Abstract

The family as the smallest social unit has an important role in the formation of personality and emotional well-being of individuals. However, violations of privacy in family relationships can cause psychological tension and feelings of anxiety, especially in adolescents and students. This study aims to understand the experiences of students who experience violations of privacy in the family environment and to describe the dynamics of group counseling with a humanistic approach in helping to manage the anxiety experienced. The research approach used was qualitative with a case study design, involving six students who participated in group counseling services. The findings showed that group counseling provided a safe and supportive space for participants to express their feelings and obtain emotional support. This resulted in increased self-awareness, emotional relief, and decreased levels of anxiety felt. This study contributes to the development of counseling practices, especially in the application of a humanistic approach to assist individuals experiencing emotional crises in the family context.
