Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) memberikan workshop pembuatan media pembelajaran bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan kerang kipas dan kerang bambu (lorjuk), (2) mempraktikkan cara penggunaan media pembelajaran kulit kerang yaitu kerang kipas dan kerang bambu (lorjuk) pada guru sekolah dasar. Tahapan dalam pengabdian ini adalah (1) Penyelenggaraan workshop pembuatan media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kulit kerang yaitu kerang kipas dan kerang bambu, (2) Pendampingan penggunaan media pembelajaran kerang kipas dan kerang bambu di kelas, (3) Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara guru-guru yang telah mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan diminta respon dan saran untuk keberlanjutan kegiatan ini serta manfaat dari kegiatan IbM yang telah dilakukan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk membantu guru-guru dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru ketika mengajarkan konsep matematika kepada siswa agar konsep matematika dapat dipahami dengan baik. Serta membantu pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan pengahasilan masyarakat daerah pesisir di kecamatan Pademawu. Luaran yang dihasilkan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah media pembelajaran matematika yang terbuat dari bahan kulit kerang yaitu kerang kipas dan kerang bambu dengan disertai cara penggunaan media tersebut dan cara membelajarkanya.

Abstract

This study attempts to discover the models of students' anxiousness. This is a qualitative study conducted utilizing a descriptive case study. The study's participants are English Department students. Observation and interviews with students were performed to get information about the models and elements driving their worry. The study's findings show that pupils encounter two types of Nervousness models: interference and deficiency models. Interference models are more powerful than deficit models. Their English talents become the second determining element. Students seldom feel nervous when conversing with their classmates. When they are around their friends, they are able to communicate in English naturally and without concern.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (a) to analyze the effectiveness of the root of the problem related to learning methods in the education report card at the First Generation Pengpeng Elementary School, (b) to analyze the impact of this problem on the learning process and achievement of student learning outcomes, (c) to prepare recommendations and improvement strategies to address identified problems. The research method that will be used in this research is qualitative research which involves various approaches, such as classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as document studies (document analysis) related to the learning methods applied. The research subjects were 90 students with 18 students in grades 1-6 in each school, 5 principals, and 2 elementary school teachers for Class I (SDN Pandian I, SDN Patian II, SDN Bataal Barat I, SDN Banbaru I, SDN Sapeken IV). The results of this research are (a) the results of priority recommendations in education report cards carried out by schools (Education units) are very effective in overcoming the root of the problem of "learning methods". (b) the impact of teachers having changed conventional learning methods into innovative and meaningful learning in accordance with the priority improvement program recommended in the Education Report Cards. (c) recommendations and improvement strategies to overcome problems identified through innovative and meaningful learning methods such as group discussions, games, learning with teaching aids or learning media. The results of this research can be used as recommendations for other schools in improving their education report cards with the same root problem, namely "learning methods".AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (a) menganalisis keefektifan akar masalah yang terkait dengan metode pembelajaran pada rapor pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Penggerak Angkatan I, (b) menganalisis dampak dari masalah tersebut terhadap proses pembelajaran dan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa, (c) menyusun rekomendasi dan strategi perbaikan untuk mengatasi masalah yang diidentifikasi. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini penelitian kualitatif yang melibatkan berbagai pendekatan, seperti observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta studi dokumen (analisis dokumen) terkait metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 90 siswa dengan masing-masing sekolah 18 siswa kelas 1-6, 5 kepala sekolah, dan 2 masing-masing guru sekolah dasar penggerak Angkatan I (SDN Pandian I, SDN Patian II, SDN Bataal Barat I, SDN Banbaru I, SDN Sapeken IV). Hasil penelitian ini adalah (a) hasil prioritas rekomendasi di rapor pendidikan yang dilakukan sekolah (satuan Pendidikan) sangat efektif dalam mengatasi akar masalah dari “metode pembelajaran”. (b) dampaknya guru-guru telah mengubah metode pembelajaran konvensional menjadi pembelajaran inovatif dan bermakna sesuai pada program benahi di prioritas rekomendasi pada rapor Pendidikan. (c) rekomendasi dan strategi perbaikan untuk mengatasi masalah yang diidentifikasi melalui metode pembelajaran inovatif dan bermakna seperti diskusi kelompok, permainan, pembelajaran dengan alat peraga atau media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi bagi sekolah lain dalam memperbaiki rapor Pendidikannya dengan akar masalah yang sama yaitu “metode pembelajaran”.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Durbuk belum dapat memanfaatkan produk pertanian pisang dengan baik; masyarakat punya kecenderungan menjual langsung pisang yang mereka hasilkan kepada tengkulak dengan harga yang relative murah. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan website dan mendaftarkan produk kripik pisang di market place sebagai tehnik marketing guna meningkatan perekonomian masyarakat selama satu bulan Kuliah kerja nyata di Durbuk. Tahapan-tahapan dalam kegiatan ini adalah (1) penyelenggaraan pembuatan kripik pisang, (2) pendampingan cara pembuatan kripik pisang yang menarik dan dapat menarik pasar, (3) pendampingan penggunaan website dan market place sebagai tehnik marketing (3) Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara melihat hasil laporan penjualan dari masyarakat apakah ada omset kenaikan pada saat menggunakan tehnik marketing yang modern yaitu dengan menggunakan website/dilakukan secara online. Kripik pisang, yang terbuat dari irisan tipis pisang yang dikeringkan dan digoreng, telah menarik perhatian dan selera beragam masyarakat. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, masyarakat Desa Durbuk memiliki wawasan tentang bagaimana kripik pisang tidak hanya dipasrakan secara konvensional, tetapi juga menggunakan media online memberikan peluang ekonomi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological distance between students and teachers in higher education. This is a qualitative case study. This study includes students from Madura University's English Department. The purposive sampling approach is used to choose a sample. To collect data, major sources of information include observation and interviews, with documents acting as secondary sources. The study's findings show that the psychological distance between Students and lecturers improve students' learning processes and provide input for learning. These tactics are used by teachers to maintain a psychological distance from their students. According to 13 (36.1%) of the students, encouraging youngsters to voice their thoughts, statements, and points of view is one approach for keeping their distance. Motivating students increases the psychological barrier between teachers and students. 14 (41.7%) of students agree, whereas 8 (22.2%) believe professors also say hallo or greet students. It suggests that instructors and members of academic society give students with an appropriate linguistic environment in order to provide optimum classroom settings for students to obtain relevant information as well as social interaction in order to improve students' comprehension of their society. Members of academic societies are urged to be responsive in order to provide useful feedback to students and to interact in a natural way on a regular basis.

Abstract

The implementation of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) at SMK Syaiful Jamil Blega Bangkalan is applied as a learning method that aims to increase student learning independence, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. SRL helps students optimize their cognitive potential through the stages of metacognitive, motivational, and behavioral regulation. However, initial research shows that some students still lack confidence in mastering the material due to low self-awareness, learning motivation, and thinking skills. This is reflected in a less conducive learning atmosphere, failure to complete assignments, and negative behavior in class. Supporting factors for SRL include good lesson plans, prior knowledge provided by teachers, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. The obstacles faced include the lack of student handbooks, unsupportive environment, lack of parental control, and student behavior such as laziness and skipping class. Nevertheless, the implementation of SRL has a positive impact on students' learning independence, such as the ability to organize study schedules, set goals, take responsibility, solve problems, and seek information independently without relying on others. Thus, the emphasis on SRL implementation is expected to form more independent and effective students in the learning process.

Abstract

Pengembangan Desa Tanjung, kecamatan Pademawu kabupaten Pamekasan sebagai desa wisata berbasis teknologi digital bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan potensi alam, budaya, dan kearifan lokal melalui inovasi teknologi sebagai sarana promosi, manajemen, dan pelayanan wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi potensi desa, menganalisis kebutuhan pengelolaan wisata berbasis teknologi, serta menyusun strategi implementasi digitalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Tanjung memiliki potensi unggulan, seperti keindahan alam, produk kerajinan lokal, serta tradisi budaya yang menarik bagi wisatawan. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya promosi dan keterbatasan akses informasi menjadi hambatan dalam pengembangan wisata. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diterapkan teknologi digital berupa pembuatan website, aplikasi mobile, dan penggunaan media sosial sebagai platform promosi. Selain itu, sistem reservasi dan pembayaran digital dirancang untuk mempermudah wisatawan dalam merencanakan kunjungan. Program pelatihan teknologi bagi masyarakat setempat juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan dalam mengelola wisata berbasis teknologi. Implementasi teknologi digital berhasil meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, memperluas jangkauan promosi, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal melalui penjualan produk UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims describe understanding concept of two-dimensional figure based on Pirie Kieren’s theory in terms of learning motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The results found that there were differences in the flow of students' understanding of high, medium, and low learning motivation in solving questions. When solving square questions, students with high learning motivation do effective folding back and arrive at inventing, students with motivation are doing infective folding back and not inventing, and students with low motivation do not fold back and do not get inventing. When solving rectangular problems, high-motivated students did ineffective folding back and did not arrive at inventing, moderately motivated students did not fold back and arrived at inventing, and low-motivated students did effective folding back and arrived at inventing. Abstract

This study is to finding out the significances of recursion in early language learning. This study is a qualitative research by using descriptive case study approach. This study describes in details the significances of recursion in early on language acquisition. The participants of this study are 44 participants. Observation and interview are conducted to get the data of the significance of recursion in early language development. Furthermore, the elements of the inquiry examine how recursion affects their capacity to offer feedback. The results show that recursion is important for overcoming stimulus poverty in a second language and producing sentences. According to 16 (36%) of the participants, the recursion notion can address the lack of stimuli in language acquisition. Whereas 28 (64%) of participants claim they can produce sentences because their lecturers apply recursion ideas. It is used to drill and reinforce the supplied input. Students can use their existing knowledge to address language learning challenges since teachers have repeatedly offered a procedure.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to identify the teachers' euphemism language in language learning, as well as the roles of euphemism in supporting students' language learning. This was a qualitative research that used a descriptive case study approach. This qualitative descriptive study explored teachers’ use of euphemism in language learning and examined its role in supporting students’ learning motivation.  This study's participants included students and teachers from Madura University. Data on euphemism and its effects on language development were gathered through observation and interviews. The results of the study showed that there were five euphemisms used by instructors in language learning: (1) outspoken, (2) large boned, (3) curvaceous, (4) distinctive, and (5) exceptional. 25 % of students claim that professors use "outspoken" instead of "bossy", "big boned" instead of "large", "curvy" instead of "fat", "unique" instead of "odd or weird", and "special" instead of "conforming with expectations". Teachers employed euphemisms in language learning to avoid using taboo words, to save pupils from losing face, to reduce students' fear, and to motivate them. According to the student responses, 62.5 % students declared that the usage of euphemism was to avoid taboo words, 12.5  % students believed that it was to prevent losing face of the students, and 12.5 % students’ claimed that it decreased the anxiety level of the students, and 12.5 % students stated that was to inspire the students. It indicated that proper words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and utterances in language acquisition were essential for motivating pupils and creating a meaningful language environment. These findings highlight the importance of polite and motivating linguistic strategies in fostering effective learning interactions in higher education.
