Abstract

The background of this research is the researcher's view regarding the lack of Qur'anic literacy, which necessitates that students engage in Qur'anic literacy. However, what the researcher observed during school observations indicates that students have been engaging in literacy. This raises the researcher's concern about the role of teachers in fostering Qur'anic literacy at Madrasah Diniyah Tarbiyatulhidayah. The issue raised in this research is about the role of teachers in improving students' Qur'anic literacy. The objective of this research is to understand the role of teachers in enhancing students' Qur'anic literacy. The method used in this research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data used are primary and secondary data. And the collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. After conducting the research, it was found that there are several roles used by teachers in improving Quran literacy. The roles of the teacher used include the role of the teacher as a facilitator, as a guide, as an educator, a motivator, and an evaluator.In improving literacy, teachers provide adequate facilities in terms of place and time, encourage students to habitually read several surahs from the Qur'an at the beginning of each lesson, offer special guidance with additional time and materials related to the Qur'an for students both individually and in groups, and provide extra training for some students who have difficulty in literacy of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1) The implementation of the practice of Dhuha prayer in MTs Al-Islam Worship, 2) How the efforts of the formation of the religious character of the students through the practicing of dhahah prayer at MTs al-Islam worship The type of research used is qualitative-descriptive. data and data sources that use primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, documentation, data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and decision-making. The results of the study showed that: 1) the implementation of the practice of the prayer of Dhuha in MTs Al-Islam Kemuja consists of aspects: a) discipline in performing the prayer of Dhuha; b) consistency of the execution of the prayers of Dhuha; c) reward and punishment; and d) prayer carried out without coercion. 2) the attempt to form the religious character of the student through the practice of prayer Dhaha can be done in such a way as: (a) the principle of freedom is the formation of the religious character the student carries out in a gradual manner; (b) the continuity principle is the formation of the religious personality the student participates in continuously; (c) the momentum principle is that the formation of the character of a student is done at a moment such as the activity of praying dhaha as a function of training in forming religious characters the student, (d) The principle of motivation instructive is the development of the religious character the participant carries on with the intention of learning the student himself; (e) the orientation is the character formation of a person by a religious supervisor. And the result obtained from the formation of the religious character of the students through the practice of the prayer is that the students become accustomed to praying one of their prayers in a routine, their fear and belief in God are increasing, they are more agamistic, they have a good nature, and they become muslims.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of fiqh thaharah learning about ablution material, as well as explaining the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing fiqh learning about ablution material in class VII Mts Al-Islam Kemuja, West Mendo District. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research, where this qualitative research describes a detailed explanation of the phenomenon. Data was collected by observing, interviewing and documenting. Next, it is analyzed by collecting data, summarizing, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research can be concluded that the implementation of Islamic jurisprudence learning about ablution material is carried out in three stages, namely the learning planning stage, the learning implementation stage, and the learning outcomes evaluation stage. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of fiqh learning are first, supporting factors from educators, namely looking at the ability and quality of an educator in delivering professional teaching, and in terms of adequate facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process. Second, inhibiting factors consisting of students, starting from interest in learning, physical condition, discipline and activities. And in the learning environment situation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Think Pair Share type of Cooperative Learning model and its impact on improving students' understanding in Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Airgegas. The background of this research is the low level of students’ comprehension of Islamic Religious Education material, which is attributed to the use of monotonous and passive teaching methods. The research employs a quantitative approach, involving two sample classes: an experimental class applying the Think Pair Share model and a control class using conventional teaching methods. The implementation of the TPS model in the experimental class was carried out through three stages: think (individual reflection), pair (discussion in pairs), and share (sharing discussion results with the class). The research instruments used were pre-tests and post-tests to measure students' understanding before and after the treatment. The Wilcoxon test results for the experimental group showed a significant improvement between pre-test and post-test scores, indicating that the TPS model effectively enhanced students’ comprehension. Furthermore, the Mann-Whitney test showed a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control groups, suggesting that students taught using the TPS model achieved a higher level of understanding compared to those taught with conventional methods
