The contract extension process for contract employees at the Public Works Department (DPU) is very important for the continuity of organizational operations. So far, employee performance assessments for contract extensions are still carried out manually due to the absence of an application that hampers the effectiveness of the process. The decision to extend the contract is currently based on SK 800/974, where there are concerns regarding errors in assessment and lack of transparency in selection, which has the potential to cause injustice and reduce the performance of contract employees. This research aims to design a decision support system using this approach to increase the integrity, effectiveness and transparency of contract extension decisions and speed up the process of evaluating contract employee performance. The profile matching method is proposed as a systematic solution for assessing the discipline, ethics and behavior of contract employees. The system development method uses the Simon model with the stages of Intelligence, Design, Choice and Implementation. The black box testing results show that the system functionality can run well. The system is able to store data properly, display information according to applicable procedures, and display the final assessment results after the assessment process is complete.Keywords: Performance evaluation; Contract extension; Contract employees; Decision support system; Profile matchingAbstrakProses perpanjangan kontrak bagi pegawai kontrak pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum (DPU) sangat penting bagi kelangsungan operasional organisasi. Selama ini Penilaian kinerja pegawai untuk perpanjangan kontrak masih dilakukan secara manual dikarenakan belum adanya suatu aplikasi yang menghambat efektivitas proses. Keputusan perpanjangan kontrak saat ini didasarkan pada SK 800/974, dimana terdapat kekhawatiran mengenai kesalahan penilaian dan kurangnya transparansi dalam seleksi, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakadilan dan menurunkan kinerja pegawai kontrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan pendekatan ini untuk meningkatkan integritas, efektivitas dan transparansi keputusan perpanjangan kontrak serta mempercepat proses evaluasi kinerja pegawai kontrak. Metode profile matching diusulkan sebagai solusi sistematis untuk menilai disiplin, etika, dan perilaku pegawai kontrak. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model simon dengan tahapan Intelligence, Design, Choice dan Implementation. Hasil pengujian black box menunjukkan bahwa fungsionalitas sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik. Sistem mampu menyimpan data dengan baik, menampilkan informasi sesuai prosedur yang berlaku, dan menampilkan hasil penilaian akhir setelah proses penilaian selesai.
