Abstract

The laboratory is a tool and setting to support the implementation of learning as it relates to the growth of knowledge, abilities, and scientific discoveries. Various tasks performed in the lab, like practicum and administrative tasks in the computer training laboratory, are still done manually using a computer but are not based on information methods. The previous laboratory website is still used for data collecting for practicum participants and recaps of practicum vacations. As a result, they frequently run into problems while trying to recapitulate student data, track attendance for practicum activities, or even teach vacation recap. This is due to an outdated system still having issues. Taking into account the foregoing context, this essay will outline the steps involved in creating a laboratory information system that can

Abstract

Technological advances in the modern era have facilitated various aspects of life, including health. Puskesmas Tanjung Ria in Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia, serves about 100 patients daily from 07:30 to 14:30. One of its main services is the diagnosis of skin diseases in children, which can be caused by genetic factors, environment, stress and parasitic infections. Research shows that there are about 20 to 30 pediatric patients with skin diseases every week. Often the treatment of skin diseases is delayed due to public understanding at the Tanjung Ria Health Center, diagnosis is carried out by a team consisting of 1 doctor and 1 assistant with a symptom-based approach. However, the main obstacles are hectic work schedules and limited resources. Available pediatricians may not have enough experience in dermatology, which can lead to suboptimal treatment. To reduce uncertainty in medical diagnosis and improve the diagnosis of skin diseases in children, the Certainty Factor (CF) method is applied in the expert system. This study proposes the development of a web-based system that uses certainty factor methods for early symptoms of skin diseases in children, in order to prevent delays in treatment. System development uses the waterfall method, which includes needs analysis, design, coding and testing with the blackbox method.

Abstract

The Android-Based Traditional Musical Instrument Introduction and Learning Application Using Augmented Reality was developed to help students of SMP YPK Hedam Abepura learn traditional Indonesian musical instruments. The app uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology to display 3D models of traditional musical instruments and their related information in real-time. This research aims to build a system that can help students get to know and learn traditional Indonesian musical instruments in an interactive and fun way. The system uses the marker-based AR method, where the user points the Android device's camera at a marker printed on paper or other media. The system then displays a 3D model of the traditional musical instrument and related information, such as name, regional origin, how to play, and the sound of the musical instrument. This application is expected to help students of SMP YPK Hedam Abepura to get to know various kinds of traditional Indonesian musical instruments Learn how to play traditional musical instruments Increase interest and love for the nation's culture This research uses waterfall research methods and system design using Unified Modelling Language (UML). System functionality testing is done with Blackbox testing.
