Abstract

Cases of financial fraud, investment scam and illegal financial activities in the society have become urgent problems and solutions must be resolved. One of the things that greatly affects the emergence of this problem is that many of our people have no understanding of finance. Financial communication and financial models are urgently needed by the society. The purpose of this paper is to map the concept of financial communication and model of financial communication. This paper is based on the results of research conducted with a constructivist approach to construct the concept of financial communication and model of financial communication. Data were obtained from the results of Focus Group Discussions with several experts in the field of finance and law. The results of this research are first, financial communication is an urgency in the lives of Indonesian people at this time. Second, financial communication is the process of conveying messages from the source of the message to the society as a communicant related to finance and financial literacy. Third, the financial communication model is an interactive and two-way communication with several criteria for several components. The components of this communication model are credible communicators, financial messages that suit the needs of the communicators, communicators who have certain criteria, media that suit the communicators and the last is the impact. The impact of this communication model is financial literacy for the society.

Abstract

The Salatiga community is unique than other communities. It lies in the identity they have. Salatiga community had always interacted with the migrants, since the Dutch colonial era. Logically, interactions with migrants will influence the identity of the Salatiga community. In fact, the identity of the Salatiga community still present to this day. Interaction with migrants actually create tolerance. Using a constructivist approach, this paper attempts to construct the identity of Salatiga community. This article using qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to communication. Based on the analysis conducted, as the first place, the construction of Salatiga community identity is the manifestation of Raden Mas Said s doctrine which emphasizes on togetherness, and accepting others. Secondly, the doctrine of Raden Mas Said become a basic for the emergence of multiculturalism understanding in the lives of the Salatiga community. Thirdly, the identity of the Salatiga community is a symbol of tolerance.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a website-based system utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the MobileNetV2 model architecture to classify types of batik. The dataset used consists of 1000 batik images, covering five different types of batik, which are then segmented into groups for training, validation, and testing data. The research results show an accuracy of 92 percent, indicating the model's ability to recognize batik types with a high level of accuracy. This research utilizes technology as a tool to preserve and introduce Indonesian culture to the younger generation and the general public in a more interactive and accessible way. By implementing it through a website, knowledge about various types of batik can be expanded, and batik cultural heritage can be promoted more effectively.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the gaming industry demands innovation in map design to maintain dynamic and non-repetitive gameplay experiences. This study aims to implement the Random Walk algorithm to generate procedural maps for Scrollbearer, a roguelike game developed using C# in Unity. The algorithm constructs random corridors and rooms from a starting point, integrated with dead end handling and Corridor First mechanics to ensure map connectivity. The research applies a Research and Development (R&D) approach with quantitative evaluation through Likert-scale questionnaires. Test results demonstrate that procedural maps significantly enhance replayability, with 79.5% of players preferring this mode due to unique layout variations and higher challenge levels (score 4.07/5). Exploration satisfaction in the procedural mode also outperformed the static mode (score 4.34/5). These findings validate the effectiveness of the Random Walk algorithm in creating dynamic maps for roguelike games, while providing a foundation for future enhancements such as biome diversity and random events.

Abstract

Penyediaan Air Minum dan Sanitasi Berbasis Masyarakat (PAMSIMAS) aims to improve access to and quality of drinking water and sanitation in rural areas. However, the manual management of water meter readings and billing by Kelompok Pengelola Sarana Prasarana Air Minum Sanitasi (KPSPAMS) Tirto Wening, Samirono Village, has led to issues with accuracy and timeliness of water bills. Therefore, this research aims to design a water meter recording system. The system design scope includes recording water meters, calculating bills, processing payments, and generating water usage reports. The development method employs a prototype approach with the Bootstrap framework. The resulting system, named SICAIR, provides accurate billing and water usage reports that meet user needs. SICAIR offers a solution to PAMSIMAS management issues related to the accuracy of meter readings and the timeliness of water bill generation in Samirono Village.

Abstract

The selection of a primary key is crucial in database management, as it impacts database performance and scalability. This study aims to evaluate one of the trending types of primary keys among developers — UUID. The evaluation is conducted on two different databases, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, using auto-increment and MongoDB’s ObjectId as comparisons. The testing involves importing data from a CSV file and processing it in parallel to assess the efficiency of each primary key in handling data insertion. The results show that auto-increment has advantages in terms of speed and smaller storage size compared to UUID, especially in MongoDB. In PostgreSQL, the speed difference is not as significant, but auto-increment remains more efficient in storage usage. This study provides valuable insights for developers in selecting the appropriate primary key based on system performance requirements.
