Abstract

Libraries have an important role in mastering science and technology as well as a center for information activities. Currently, the library extends its services not only in hardcopy but also in softcopy and provides faster information retrieval capabilities. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides better multi-platform integration through network infrastructure. This job is to implement SOA in a Library Information System based on Glassfish Enterprice Service Bus and MySQL database. The methods for implementing library application design using SOA and ESB are built using a business process approach with several stages (M. Weske, 2006). The application of the methodology to be implemented with SOA and ESB is built using a business process approach with the following stages: The first stage, map design for integration of library requirements, the second stage is service interface design, the third stage builds relationships between services combine services that have been previously created by interaction with other services. The fourth stage is determining the logic flow that will evaluate the service logic flow that has been created with existing business processes. The fifth stage builds scenarios for shared perceptions and refining existing processes. The results show that the design has faster search capabilities that match the needs of the library.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is find a model literacy a medium for elementary school students by the use of the interactive multimedia-based wisdom of local community in Salatiga. It uses qualitative method and ethnography communication approach. The data collection was done through observation and in-depth interviews with cultural and teachers primary schools in Salatiga. The results show that 1) The Local wisdom of Salatiga community has been applied in forms of appreciation, cooperation and tolerance based on the teachings of Raden Mas Said. 2) This local wisdom can be used as a basis for media literacy 3) There are two models of literacy media based on local knowledge, i.e., in the form of informal communication done by teachers and parents, and in the form of education through games. The game with Salatiga City setting and with figures of Wales and Asia as symbols of that tolerance is the local wisdom of Salatiga community which will be used as learning media in schools. This research contributes to provide media literacy model by using interactive multimedia  based on local wisdom of the community in Salatiga.

Abstract

The library in this modern era in the advancement of information technology needsto be developed towards data integeration. Network communication between librariescan be a means of good learning, effective and efficient. The problem often encounteredin collaborating on the business process for integeration of library data is the differenceof application to the user of each part. Technology that can integrate data eventhough different applications / platforms on end users with web service technology.With the web service for RESTFul method can bridge the integration of data exchangefor book refrence in library so that can be know where and where book have referencesto references book or document needed. Restful technology is created with java classand database as prototype and simulation. Clear and viable business processes can beintegrated into an integrated information system.

Abstract

Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) Cabang Kota Salatiga dengan kepengurusan baru bertekad memperbaiki kinerja, dan meningkatkan komunikasi yang baik antar anggotanya, terkhusus yang terkait dengan peningkatan profesionalisme kedokteran. Salah satu media yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi antar anggota adalah dengan pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi, terutama dalam bentuk aplikasi berbasis web yang memberikan layanan pusat informasi, update pengetahuan dan forum komunikasi antar anggota. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang mampu mewadahi kebutuhan tersebut. Selanjutnya agar aplikasi bisa diakses oleh seluruh anggota dengan berbagai jenis perangkat yang berbeda seperti laptop, handpone, tablet dan sebagainya, maka pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Responsif Web Design. Sedangkan metode pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Web based Application Development Methodology, dengan harapan agar aplikasi yang dikembangkan dapat betul-betul sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Hasil penelitian adalah website pusat informasi dan forum komunikasi yang diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan layanan dan profesionalisme kerja para anggota IDI khususnya Cabang Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to facilitate the needs of the Satya Wacana Christian 1 Kindergarten students in Salatiga as an effort to introduce kindergarten students to computers. Students usually only know cell phones or tablets but rarely use computers. This training activity was attended by kindergarten students with an age range of 5-6 years and was carried out in four stages, namely the planning stage, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The activity involved a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology, Satya Wacana Christian University as activity facilitators and three teachers from Satya Wacana Christian 1 Kindergarten. This program was conducted at the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Information Technology, Satya Wacana Christian University, which included introducing computer equipment, opening websites, and practicing using a mouse through online educational games. The online educational games used in this activity are mixing colors, counting, getting to know water transportation, getting to know 2D shapes, knowing numbers, and assembling puzzles. The activity went well, where the students could recognize and operate computers, especially using the mouse, and learn through the online educational games.

Abstract

This research will analyze web security and how to find out whether there is a vulnerability or what could be called a vulnerability to enter gaps in the Baleomolcreative web, making the web unsafe. In analyzing whether there are vulnerabilities, the Penetration Testing Execution Standard and Vulnerability Assessment methods are used to determine whether there are gaps or vulnerabilities in the Baleomolcreative website that can be exploited by external parties. This method uses tools such as Owasp ZAP, Nikto, and Nmap which can be used to perform vulnerability scanning on a website. In this research, we succeeded in identifying 3 levels of vulnerability on the Baleomolcreative website, namely medium, low, and informational, with a total of 18 alerts generated from notifications on Owasp Zap. The scanning process includes vulnerability testing such as Content Security Policy, Anti-clickjacking Header, Dangerous JS Functions, Permissions Policy, and others.

Abstract

Accounting teachers at the State Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Salatiga currently have the competence to record manual accounting and accounting applications already available on the market. However, the World of Business and Industry  demands that SMK graduates be able to develop simple accounting applications for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Application development requires mastery of programming algorithm competencies to help think more logically, creatively, and critically. This condition encourages accounting and computer teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga to need the training to improve algorithmic and programming competencies. This community service activity aims to enhance the competence of programming algorithms for accounting and computer teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. The presentation of the material is arranged by the mentors so that this training program can be completed quickly and the objectives are achieved. There are three methods of implementing the activity: (1) socialization of programming algorithm material; (2) programming algorithm training activities; (3) case practice of programming algorithms. Participants in this activity were ten teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga, namely nine teachers majoring in accounting and one computer teacher. This activity was held in September 2022. Competency improvement was measured by conducting a pre-test and post-test on activity participants regarding programming algorithm material using a questionnaire containing 30 multiple-choice questions. The result of this activity is an increase in the competency of the participant's programming algorithm from 10 percent to 90 percent, and the activity participant’s can solve cases of programming algorithms and document them using the flowgorithm correctly.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Laboran merupakan aplikasi berbasis web yang dikembangkan untuk mengelola data ruangan dan peminjaman ruangan. Dalam mengelola data tersebut laboran juga menggunakan beberapa Google Service seperti Google Calendar dan Google Mail yang terpisah. Penggunaan aplikasi sistem informasi laboran dan beberapa Google Service secara terpisah sering kali menyebabkan kebingungan dan kesalahan dalam pengelolaan data ruangan serta peminjaman karena alur kerja yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan Google Service dengan sistem informasi laboran dalam satu alur kerja yang sama. Metode Extreme Programming digunakan dalam pengembangan ini, dengan fokus pada orientasi objek dan tim pengembangan minimal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah integrasi aplikasi Sistem Informasi Laboran dengan Google Service seperti Google SSO (Single Sign-On), Google Calendar, dan Google Mail. Dari integrasi dengan Google tersebut Service memungkinkan akses dan pengelolaan data dari berbagai layanan tersebut melalui satu aplikasi terpadu. Abstract

This study delves into the implementation of Quality of Service (QoS) through the synergistic integration of Queue tree and Dynamic Queue mechanisms aimed at enhancing network quality. QoS plays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal network performance by effectively managing and prioritizing various types of network traffic. The Queue tree method offers a hierarchical approach to traffic management, while the Dynamic Queue method enables adaptive allocation of network resources based on real-time network conditions. Through comprehensive implementation and testing within a simulated network environment, this research demonstrates the efficacy of combining Queue tree and Dynamic Queue techniques in bolstering network performance. The results underscore the significance of this integrated approach in providing tailored prioritization of diverse service types and dynamically adjusting resource allocation, thereby substantiating its viability as a solution for augmenting network quality.

Abstract

The security system on the network was created virtually via OpenvSwitch using the NIDS and HIDS methods designed using SNORT. The results of the Ping of Death attack cause the CPU performance to be very high, so that the computer works optimally due to the large number of packets going to the Server computer.
