Abstract

Research aims: This study investigates employee loyalty among hospitality businesses despite improvements after the pandemic. It scrutinizes the influence of transformational leadership on employee satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty and assesses the mediating role of employee engagement.Design/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative design was implemented, and data were collected employing a questionnaire circulated to 261 employees. Then, the accumulated data was investigated using the Smart PLS 3.2.9 application.Research findings: The study highlights that transformational leadership affects employee loyalty while employee satisfaction does not. Employee engagement mediates the linkage between transformational leadership and employee satisfaction and loyalty. Employees need satisfaction to cover their turnover chances and remain loyal.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The study expands the existing literature concerning the role of transformational leadership and job satisfaction in reinforcing employee loyalty. This type of study is infrequently due to its significant focus on performance.Practitioners/Policy Implications: Hotel business managers pay more attention to employee engagement in every activity. Accordingly, employee loyalty can be maintained, impacting hotel performance.Research Limitations/Implications: This study was performed on the four-star hotels. Consequently, these results cannot be fully implemented in different businesses. Various further elaborations are required to make it applicable to different sectors.

Abstract

The research on the integration of entrepreneurial orientation and customer relationship marketing in building and strengthening marketing capabilities to achieve marketing success in the endek and embroidered woven fabric handicraft industry in Denpasar City was carried out in all businesses that produce and sell woven and embroidery fabrics, and are listed in the Directory of Service Denpasar City Industry and Trade in 2016. Woven and embroidery businesses are spread in four districts with a total of 55 business units. The sample of this study is all members of the population, and placed the owners / managers of woven and embroidery fabrics as the target of the respondents. This research is a research survey using a questionnaire as the main research instrument. In addition, this study also uses independent interviews with key informants to support or explore findings from the results of the quantitative analysis. The research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (Smart-PLS), where the results showed that entrepreneurial orientation had an effect on marketing performance, but entrepreneurial orientation had no influence on marketing capabilities. Also, customer relationship marketing had an influence on marketing performance and marketing capabilities, while marketing capabilities have an influence on marketing performance.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan operasional perusahaan. Kinerja karyawan sangat dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan kompetensi yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh beban kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Udara Bali Yoga, Detox & Spa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Hotel Udara Bali Yoga, Detox & Spa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 55 responden, Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sampling jenuh dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Udara Bali Yoga, Detox & Spa. Serta lingkungan kerja dan kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Udara Bali Yoga, Detox & Spa. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini dengan menambahkan variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Keberadaan sumber daya manusia didalam perusahaan memiliki peranan yang sangat pentingxdalam menentukan sukses atau tidaknya perusahaan. Dalam hal tersebut perusahaan perlu mempertahankan karyawan yang memiliki kinerja baik agar tetap loyal terhadap perusahaan. PenelitianXini bertujuan untuk mengetauhi dan menganalisis pengaruhxkepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja dan motifasi kerja terhadap karyawanxpada perusahaan Prima Design. JumlahXsampel yang digunakan sebanyak 31 responden yang merupakan karyawan Perusahaan Prima Design, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Teknikxanalisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengunakan SPSS statistic untuk menguji regresi liniear variabel bergandaxyang digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. HasilXpenelitian membuktikan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, Lingkungan kerja berpengaruhxpositif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of competition in the field of providing hotel lodging services, where the growing development of tourism causes the growth rate of tourism accommodation such as hotels to also increase. This causes non-star hotels as one of the providers of hospitality services to also improve to face this competition by changing the system they have in order to still have an advantage over their competitors. In this study using respondents as many as 91 people with quantitative analysis and testing the research path test was carried out using the Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) 2.0 analysis tool. Based on the results of the research analysis, it was found that internal marketing had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction had an insignificant positive effect on service quality, and internal marketing had a significant positive effect on service quality. The implementation of this research is to maintain and improve internal marketing by rewarding work performance, to increase job satisfaction by listening more to the suggestions given by employees, and to maintain and improve service quality by always giving personal/special attention to guests who stay and understand the special needs of staying guests. In addition, the results of this study also create a gap for further research, where the relationship between internal marketing and service quality has no significant positive effect.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2004 tentang Sistem Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional, menyatakan bahwa seluruh masyarakat menjadi bagian yang sangat penting dari semua pemangku kepentingan yang ada. Sektor UMKM adalah yang paling dipilih oleh publik karena mampu menyerap tenaga kerja yang cukup banyak. Tingkat efektivitas program Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemerintah daerah dalam merealisasikan program pemerintah.Penelitian tentang Efektivitas Kredit Usaha Rakyat ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Variabel yang dianalisis adalah: 1) Variabel Input, dengan  indikator ketepatan program, sosialisasi program dan tujuan program; 2) Variabel Proses, dengan indikator respon petugas, tingkat pemantauan dan tingkat evaluasi; 3) Variabel Keluaran, dengan indikator tingkat pendapatan pengusaha.Hasil dari program Efektivitas Kredit Usaha Rakyat terhadap Pendapatan Pedagang UMKM di Kecamatan Denpasar Utara cukup efektif. Peningkatan pendapatan terjadi pada UMKM di Kecamatan Denpasar Utara dan masih memiliki peluang untuk ditingkatkan sebagai bagian dari pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Respon petugas terhadap keluhan pedagang mengenai program Kredit Usaha Rakyat setelah program diterapkan haruslah cepat agar dapat meningkatkan tingkat pendapatan pedagang UMKM.  Kata kunci:       Pembangunan Ekonomi, Program Kredit Usaha Rakyat, Paradigma Awal, Efektivitas
