The aim of this research is to determine the level of public welfare in the village of Tenganan Pegringsingan review of the aspect of social and economic and knowing the role of customary institution on the public welfare in the village of Tenganan Pegringsingan. Location of this research is a village located in Tenganan Pegringsingan sub-district Manggis district Karangasem. Regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita and human development index in the county of this is the lowest in the Province of Bali. Villagers of Tenganan Pegringsingan chosen as the object of this research because of the consistency of them against the customs and culture in the middle of globalization are traditional pattern of life has shifted into modern. To answer the problems until research, can reach its destination engineering analysis will be used either quantitative or qualitative. The result showed in flattened, society wage in Tenganan Pegringsingan is lower than Karangasem, according to a district but for the community this income it has been able to meet the needs of their lives. Customary very institution plays role in the public welfare village Tenganan Pegringsingan. This is because high intervening customary in the management of assets village then capable of being restored fair and equitable to the public.

The objective of this study is to examine the determinants of labor absorption in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector and its impact on Gross Regional Domestic Product/GRDP at Bali Province. This study is important due to the fact that the GRDP in this sector is the highest compared to other sector but the labor absorption is lower than the agriculture sector. This study used panel data comprising 9 regencies/cities at Bali Province in the period 2003-2009 including fixed effect model and simultaneous equation model of Two-Stage Least Square. The results showed that GRDP, working age population, and the minimum wage have positive effect on employment, while the educated unemployment has no significant effect on the employment in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector. In addition, increases in employment and workers productivity have positive and significant effects the GRDP in the trade, hotel and restaurant sector at Bali Province.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of education level, age, andmarital status against the odds change jobs women migrans in the city of Denpasar.The study was conducted in four districts in the city of Denpasar. Respondents arenon-permanent migran women in Denpasar where the sample is determined usingthe quota by the number of samples is 120 people. Analysis of the data used toachieve the goal is through the analysis of Binary Logistic technique. Based on theresults of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the level of education,age, and marital status significantly influence migran women’s chances of changingjobs in Denpasar. Partially, education level and employment status positive influenceon changing employment opportunities migran women in the city of Denpasar. Whileage does not significantly influence the chances of changing jobs migran women inthe city of Denpasar.

In the planning and development related to human resources both within the company and organizations today must get the attention of the leaders of the future that will maximize employee performance at work. Where emotional intelligence and intellect is a very important factor in improving the performance of employees and facilitate the achievement of corporate goals. If emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence are good at a company will create a positive interaction for the development of human resources in a company or organization. The purpose of this study was to examine the emotional intelligence and the intellectual influence on employee performance. The research was conducted at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Main Branch Office Renon Denpasar. The sampling technique in this study using the formula Slovin, of the formula is obtained as many as 75 people. The results showed that emotional intelligence and intellect together - together (simultaneously) positive and significant influence on employee performance. Moreover, the results also revealed that emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence partial effect on employee performance.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi wisatawan terhadap Keberadaan Batur Global Geopark. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas wisatawan baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri yang berkunjung ke kawasan Batur Global Geopark. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik Accidental Sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian adalah berupa kuisioner yang mencakup berbagai pertanyaan terkait variabel penelitian. Data yang terkumpul ditabulasi dan dilakukan perhitungan pada setiap item pertanyaan, untuk kemudian dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisi menunjukkan bahwa secara rata-rata, persepsi wisatawan terhadap kawasan Batur Global Geopark sebagai obyek wisata adalah baik, meskipun pada item pertanyaan kebersihan dan ketersediaan toilet dirasa masih kurang. Karenanya perlu kerjasama dan perhatian serta tindak lajut dari berbagai pihak berkepentingan untuk mengembangkan kawasan Batur Global Geoprak sebagai salah satu tujuan wisata di Provinsi Bali.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasionalterhadap motivasi dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi terhadap motivasi pada Karang Taruna PurnaManggala Kelurahan Sesetan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anggota Karang Taruna Purna Manggala yangberada di Kelurahan Sesetan. Metode penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan cara sensus, yaitu menjadikanseluruh anggota populasi menjadi sampel. Sehingga jumlah sampel yang akan menjadi objek penelitianadalah sebanyak 41 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda,yang akan mampu menjawab permasalahan mengenai pengaruh antara kepemimpinan transformasional dankomunikasi terhadap motivasi pada Karang Taruna Purna Manggala Kelurahan Sesetan.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan keseluruhan variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadapmotivasi pada Karang Taruna Purna Manggala Kelurahan Sesetan. Sedangkan dari pengujian secara parsial,di dapatkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan transformasional dan komunikasi berpengaruh positif dansignifkan terhadap motivasi pada Karang Taruna PurnaManggala Kelurahan Sesetan

Human resources are very important in every organization, the goals and objectives that have been set will not be achieved if human resources cannot make a major contribution to the successful achievement and goals of the company. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of career development and work pressure on goal turnover. This research was conducted at FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Seminyak Hotel. The number of respondents is 80 people. Collecting data by distributing questionnaires using a Likert Scale. Data analysis techniques are several linear regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 21. Based on the results of linear regression analysis obtained a negative and significant career development effect on turnover intention, job stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention.

Kontribusi perempuan untuk analisis rantai nilai biasanya diabaikan atau "disembunyikan". Di sektor perikanan, banyak terjadi ketidakpastian hasil tangkapan yang mengakibatkan ketidakpastian pendapatan. Akibatnya, banyak pilihan pekerjaan di pada sektor non perikanan yang dianggap menjamin kebutuhan sehari-hari. Keputusan pekerjaan seseorang dipengaruhi oleh keinginannya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran wanita pada rantai nilai perikanan, efisiensi saluran pemasaran produk perikanan dan pilihan pekerjaan untuk anaknya di Kabupaten Demak. Analisis satistik deskriptif, margin pemasaran dan regresi logistik digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Data primer dan sekunder digunakan pada penelitian ini, data primer berupa sebanyak 100 responden yang ditentukan secara purposive sampling dan data sekunder berupa data yang terambil dari stakeholder terkait. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat empat rantai nilai perikanan di Kabupaten Demak. Peran pria dominan dalam aktivitas mencari ikan, sedangkan peran wanita dominan dalam pengolahan dan pemasaran produk perikanan. Pekerjaan sektor non perikanan dipilih untuk keberlanjutan kehidupan mereka.

Performance is the level of effectiveness and efficiency shown by employees in carrying out their daily duties in an organization or company at a certain period. Improving employee performance is the most serious management challenge because the success of achieving goals and the survival of the organization depends on the quality of human resource performance in it. The more employees who have high performance, the effectiveness and efficiency of work in company activities will be maximized. This study aims to determine how the influence of individual characteristics, organizational commitment, occupational safety and health on employee performance at PT Tirta Investama Mambal. PT Tirta Investama Mambal is located in Br. Gumuasih, Mambal Kajanan, Abiansemal, Badung. The population in this study were 300 employees. Determination of the sample using the slovin method, with stratified proportionate random sampling technique, so that the sample used was 172 employees. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that individual characteristics had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Tirta Investama Mambal, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Tirta Investama Mambal, occupational safety and health had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Tirta Investama Mambal.

The development of information technology forces all sectors to develop and adapt. It is the same with the tourism sector in Bali which is starting to experience a fairly rapid development of technology adoption. This research aims to (1) explore the role of social media and online travel applications in current Bali tourism and (2) predict the number of foreign tourist visits to Bali Province. This study uses a quantitative approach using the province of Bali as the research location, considering that Bali is one of the leading tourism destinations in Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that the use of information technology, especially social media, makes it easier for tourists to access information related to tourist destinations. with existing developments, it is predicted that there will continue to be an increase in the number of tourist visits every year. This must be followed by the development of the tourism supporting sector and the improvement of all related facilities. In addition, health and safety issues must be a top priority.
