Abstract

Peralatan pengaman pintu perlintasan sebidang merupakan peralatan fasilitas operasi perkeretaapian yang membutuhkan sumber energi listrik. Penggunaan bahan bakar fosil sebagai bahan bakar pembangkit listrik jumlahnya semakin menipis, menurut perkiraan jumlah cadangan bahan bakar fosil akan habis sekitar 83 tahun. Untuk menghemat cadangan bahan bakar fosil diperlukan sumber energi cadangan dari sumber energy yang terbarukan seperti energi angin. Energi angin di sekitar jalur perkeretaapian mempunyai potensi sangat besar untuk dijadikan energi listrik. Pembangit listrik mikro wind dalam penelitian ini menggunakan turbin angin dengan sudu-sudu vertikal dan pengarah angin berupa sirip. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiaan serta melakukan pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa turbin angin vertikal yang di implementasikan untuk pencatu peralatan pengaman pintu perlintasan dapat mengisi baterai dengan arus pengisian rata-rata 3,28 A pada kecepatan angina rata-rata 3,90 m/s dan putaran 278 rpm dan menghasilkan daya 39,45 watt dan energy total 394,5 watt sehingga dapat mengisi baterai 75Ah/12 volt selama 22 jam

Abstract

Intelligent wheelchairs are motorized resting media designed to help users with physical limitations, where an artificial control system is added or used to replace user controls. The aim is to reduce or eliminate the user's duty to drive a motorized wheelchair. At the station there are still many places that are still not accessible by persons with disabilities. As the difference between platform and train height, usually there are stairs that support to enter the train. Therefore the writer makes an innovation so that it can make it easier for people with disabilities to move up stairs in a wheelchair. The design of the wheelchair design uses a crawler type with the help of universal plates from Tamiya, the gearbox uses Twin Motor with a rotation ratio of 204: 1. Servo motor mounted on the seat which is supported by a gyro sensor as a counterweight to the chair when the position of the chair up or down. In the DC motor and servo PID method is added so that the motion changes can be smooth. PID is installed when testing the equilibrium results obtained a little stable oscillation at Kp = 0.27, Ki = 0.0004, and Kd = 0.0001, while when testing the speed obtained the most stable conditions at Kp = 2, Ki = 1, Kd = 0.25.

Abstract

Level crossing security gate equipment is a railroad operating facility that requires an electrical energy source. The use of fossil fuels as fuel for power plants is running low, according to estimates the amount of fossil fuel reserves will be exhausted in about 83 years. To save fossil fuel reserves, we need a backup energy source from renewable energy sources such as wind energy. Wind energy around the railroad track has enormous potential to be used as electrical energy. Micro wind electricity builders in this study use wind turbines with vertical blades and wind directors in the form of fins. Based on the results of research and testing it can be concluded that the vertical wind turbine that is implemented to supply crossing door safety equipment can charge batteries with an average charging current of 3.28 A at an average wind speed of 3.90 m / s and rotation of 278 rpm and produces 39.45 watts of power and 394.5 watts of total energy so that it can charge a 75Ah / 12 volt battery for 22 hours

Abstract

Kereta Api merupakan salah satu moda transportasi penumpang atau barang yang cukup diminati karena mempunyai karakteristik pengangkutan secara massal dan keunggulan dibanding moda transportasi lain. Kecelakaan kereta api seringkali terjadi di indonesia khususnya di perlintasan sebidang dikarenakan faktor seperti sarana perkeretaapian, prasarana perkeretaapian, SDM operator, eksternal dan faktor alam. Oleh karena itu maka perlu adanya pembentukan budaya keselamatan baik di dalam penyelenggaraan perkeretaapian dan pada masyarakat sebagai tindakan preventif salah satunya dengan melakukan sosialisasi simbol dan semboyan perkeretaapian di perlintasan sebidang agar pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hal tersebut dapat meningkat sehingga diharapkan dapat menimbulkan budaya keselamatan pada masyarakat dalam hal perkeretaapian. Kegiatan dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah Barat Magetan. Sosialisasi diberikan dengan memberikan paparan materi tentang perlintasan sebidang, simbol –simbol dan semboyan perkeretaapian,dilakukan tanya jawab dan tes pemahaman secara acak. Dari hasil diskusi dan tes pemahaman tersebut, masyarakat khususnya siswa SD lebih tahu serta memahami semboyan dan simbol perkeretaapian di perlintasan sebidang.

Abstract

The point machine is very important for changes in the direction of the train, which affects the service and safety of the train. Checking the T84M point machine manually is time consuming and human error prone. Maintenance includes checking gears, current, and motor voltage. Gear damage and currents and voltages exceeding tolerance limits cause performance problems in point machines. This study aims to create an innovative prototype for early fault detection and easier maintenance. Gear vibration data processed using the ADXL345 sensor with the FFT method shows a significant difference. Normal gears have amplitude <1066 m/s², wear ≥1066 m/s², broken gears have ≥1960 m/s². Testing of the PZEM-004T sensor was satisfactory, with a current error of 0.01% and a voltage error of 0.004%. This sensor is suitable for monitoring the motor output current and voltage. Sensor readings during monitoring of motor current and voltage reveal patterns during operation. ABSTRAK Penggerak wesel memiliki peran vital dalam mengubah arah pergerakan kereta api yang berdampak langsung pada infrastruktur perkeretaapian, layanan, dan keselamatan. Saat ini, pemeriksaan manual penggerak wesel T84M memerlukan waktu lama dan berisiko terjadi kesalahan manusia. Pemeliharaannya melibatkan pengecekan roda gigi, arus, dan tegangan motor. Kerusakan pada roda gigi, lonjakan arus, dan tegangan di luar batas toleransi menjadi awal masalah dalam kinerja penggerak wesel. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan prototipe inovatif untuk deteksi awal gangguan dan pemeliharaan yang lebih mudah. Data getaran dari roda gigi diolah menggunakan sensor ADXL345 dengan metode FFT, menghasilkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Roda gigi normal memiliki amplitudo <1066m/s², sedangkan keausan ≥1066m/s², dan gigi yang patah ≥1960m/s². Pengujian sensor PZEM-004T cukup andal, dengan rata-rata kesalahan arus 0,01% dan kesalahan tegangan 0,004%, menjadikannya cocok untuk memantau arus dan tegangan pada motor wesel. Pembacaan sensor saat memonitor motor wesel mengungkap pola arus dan tegangan yang muncul selama operasi motor.

Abstract

Perawatan dan pemeriksaan penggerak wesel meliputi pemeriksaan kondisi roda gigi dan pengukuran parameter untuk tegangan dan arus motor wesel. Kerusakan pada roda gigi dan lonjakan tegangan dan arus yang melebihi batas toleransi menjadi penyebab awal gangguan yang dapat mempengaruhi kelaikan dan kinerja penggerak wesel. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang sebuah prototype sebagai inovasi untuk mendeteksi gangguan lebih dini dan memudahkan dalam melakukan perawatan dan pemeriksaan. Data getaran yang dihasilkan oleh roda gigi diproses menggunakan sensor ADXL345 dengan menerapkan metode Fast Fourier Transform, dan dilanjutkan dengan proses metode K-Means dimana mengelompokan kategori hasilnya. Hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa dalam proses sistem pembacaan getaran roda gigi dilakukan dengan menggunakan sensor ADXL345 yang diatur pada range percepatan sebesar 4g. Data yang terbaca dari sensor kemudian diolah dengan menerapkan metode K-Means dan menghasilkan keluaran berupa spektrum dan nilai getaran yang membedakan kondisi antara ketiga roda gigi. Metode K-Means Clustering dapat digunakan sebagail pilihan pengelompokan kerusakan roda gigi pada Motor Wesel T84 dengan nilai jarak antar satu cluster dengan lainnya adalah sebesar 72,67%. Sedangkan jarak antar cluster untuk salah satunya adalah sebesari 65%.

Abstract

The importance of railway knowledge in the growing world of work, as well as the need to address the lack of understanding encountered among vocational students. The change from supply-oriented to demand-oriented curriculum is the main focus in improving vocational education. The Introduction of Railway Operation Facilities to Increase the Knowledge of Vocational Students in the Railway Field aims not only as a means of approach and promotion to the community about the existence of the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic Madiun campus, but also as a medium to escalate students' skills and knowledge in the field of railway operation facilities. This activity explains the legal basis related to railway operating facilities, including legal products that regulate operational aspects, safety, and optimization of all resources in the railway industry. In addition, it also explains about railroad operating facilities and their functions.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is symbolized by innovations such as the Internet of Things (IoT), which drive efforts to integrate disruptive technologies like IoT, big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing into government initiatives to promote smart cities and enhance societal well-being. Therefore, this socialization activity was carried out using a lecture method on IoT (Internet of Things) and LoRa (Long Range) technology for industrial employees at PT. Wantech Indonesia. This initiative aims to equip industrial employees with knowledge of technologies that align with modern developments. This activity was spearheaded by lecturers from PPI Madiun as part of a community service initiative focused on raising awareness about IoT and LoRa technology. The program has yielded positive results within the community and has expanded knowledge regarding emerging technologies. During its implementation, industrial employees, in particular, showed great enthusiasm for the activity. The post-test results indicated that the material was well understood and effectively conveyed.

Abstract

The track circuit is a device used to determine whether a vehicle is on the track. This device is installed on the track and needs to be monitored to ensure it functions properly. All objects detected in practice are considered railway vehicles, even though the detected objects may not be railway vehicles. Accurate and reliable detection technology is crucial for preventing accidents and keeping train traffic safe. This detection system uses metal sensors to identify objects as railway or non-railway assets. This is done based on two variables: the frequency of the object's metal and the object's speed. The test results show that this tool can classify objects according to their class. The class with no objects has an accuracy level of 100%, while the class of non-railway has an accuracy level of 86.67%. The railway class trials using the inspection train axle show an accuracy level of 93.33%.

Abstract

The inspection train is specialized equipment used for examining railway tracks, transporting personnel, and carrying work equipment. The inspection train must be equipped with operational tools, monitoring equipment, and work comfort equipment. One of the comfort equipment is air circulation control, which should provide comfort to the personnel while working. Factors influencing the air temperature inside the inspection train include the number of passengers and duration of door opening. This research employs the Design of Experiment data processing method, with the data analyzed using a 2-factor factorial design experiment, with the assistance of Minitab software to understand the influence of the number of passengers and the duration of door opening-closing on temperature changes inside the inspection train. The result obtained from Minitab analysis indicate that the number of passengers has a significant influence on temperature changes inside the inspection train, accounting for 5.2% of the variation. On the other hand, the duration of door opening-closing does not have a significant effect on temperature changes. Additionally, the interaction between the number of passengers and the door open-close duration does not have a significant influence on temperature changes inside the PPI Madiun Inspection Train.
