Abstract

Kereta Api merupakan salah satu moda transportasi penumpang atau barang yang cukup diminati karena mempunyai karakteristik pengangkutan secara massal dan keunggulan dibanding moda transportasi lain. Kecelakaan kereta api seringkali terjadi di indonesia khususnya di perlintasan sebidang dikarenakan faktor seperti sarana perkeretaapian, prasarana perkeretaapian, SDM operator, eksternal dan faktor alam. Oleh karena itu maka perlu adanya pembentukan budaya keselamatan baik di dalam penyelenggaraan perkeretaapian dan pada masyarakat sebagai tindakan preventif salah satunya dengan melakukan sosialisasi simbol dan semboyan perkeretaapian di perlintasan sebidang agar pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hal tersebut dapat meningkat sehingga diharapkan dapat menimbulkan budaya keselamatan pada masyarakat dalam hal perkeretaapian. Kegiatan dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah Barat Magetan. Sosialisasi diberikan dengan memberikan paparan materi tentang perlintasan sebidang, simbol –simbol dan semboyan perkeretaapian,dilakukan tanya jawab dan tes pemahaman secara acak. Dari hasil diskusi dan tes pemahaman tersebut, masyarakat khususnya siswa SD lebih tahu serta memahami semboyan dan simbol perkeretaapian di perlintasan sebidang.

Abstract

Naiknya peran batubara jangka panjang sebagai penyedia dominan cadangan energi merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dapat merusak lingkungan. Salah satu inovasi yaitu pemanfaatan limbah batubara yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan campuran pembuatan batako. Pembuatan batako oleh kelompok pengrajin konvensional umumnya masih menggunakan semen sebagai bahan campuran. Limbah batubara (fly ash) sering dimanfaatkan sebagai pengganti bahan campuran batako, paving block ataupun yang lainnya. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai penggunaan fly ash sebagai bahan campuran semen dalam pembuatan batako. Kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu diskusi dengan upaya peningkatan pemahaman melalui praktek langsung. Pengabdian masyarakat berlokasi di Jalan Raya Madiun, Pagotan Geger, Kabupaten Madiun. Partisipasi pengarajin batako dalam pelatihan sangat antusias serta aktif dalam mengikuti seluruh kegiatan dikarenakan dalam pelatihan ini dapat memberikan ilmu pengetahuan baru terkait pemanfaatan fly ash untuk dijadikan produk batako sehingga mendapatkan kualitas yang lebih baik dan lebih kuat. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dapat ditarik kesimpulan antara lain: (1) Mitra memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengolahan limbah abu terbang khususnya fly ash dalam pembuatan batako; (2) Pembuatan batako dari fly ash ini mendukung program pemerintah dalam mengurangi limbah batu bara; (3) Pemanfaatan abu terbang (fly ash) untuk bahan tambahan batako akan dapat memperkecil serta meminimalkan biaya produksi.

Abstract

At this time, transportation and mobility of people in Indonesia have used many modes of rail transportation. This choice is influenced by the various advantages offered by rail transportation modes such as its large and efficient transport capacity, on time and good accessibility. Railway technology has undergone very significant developments in recent times. Starting from conventional trains, electric trains and even fast trains (High-speed Train). One of the things that influence the development of railways is the application of science and technology, one of which is science and engineering. Therefore, strengthening the basis of science and introducing technology must be carried out, including at the primary and secondary education levels as an effort to prepare quality human resources for the development of railroad technology in the future. The introduction of rolling stock to students and teachers at SMPN 1 Ngraho Bojonegoro aims to enable students and teachers to have a deeper understanding of railway technology, especially the types of railway facilities in the hope that it will become one of the tools in learning science and technology. The method used in this activity is counseling with several stages such as preparation, implementation and evaluation. The core activity is to provide a presentation regarding the development of railway technology in general, followed by an understanding of railway facilities and types of rolling stock. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in knowledge and understanding regarding railways and rolling stock among the participants. The average percentage increase in understanding of grades pre-test and post-test is equal to 76.5%. In addition, 80% of respondents stated that this activity was very useful.

Abstract

Perkembangan perkeretaapian di Indonesia yang sangat cepat harus didukung dengan Sumber Daya Manusia yang memadai. Selain adanya alih teknologi terhadap teknologi baru yang ada maka juga penting menyiapkan SDM yang unggul agar generasi mendatang tidak hanya menerima teknologi tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan teknologi-teknologi baru. Kegiatan pengenalan prasarana jalur dan bangunan perkeretaapian kepada siswa-siswi MAN 2 kota Madiun ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar siswa-siswi tersebut mengetahui dan memahami beberapa teknologi perkeretaapian khususnya prasarana bangunan dan jalur perkeretaapian yang dapat menjadi bekal dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi. Penyampaian materi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah. Materi yang disampaikan adalah prasarana perkeretaapian yaitu prasarana jalur dan bangunan perkeretaapian. Evaluasi ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dilakukan dengan mengukur feedback peserta sosialisasi terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Beberapa pertanyaan yang diberikan meliputi beberapa aspek di antaranya peningkatan pengetahuan terkait prasarana perkeretaapian, tingkat manfaat kegiatan dan penyampaian materi.

Abstract

The metallic and composite brake blocks have characteristics and advantages that need to be considered based on the needs and operational conditions of the railway. This study aims to determine the process of making composite brake blocks with carbon powder, iron sand, and epoxy resin and to understand their characteristics. Three variations of compositions, including 70 grams of epoxy resin + 15 grams of iron sand + 15 grams of carbon powder, 65 grams of epoxy resin + 15 grams of iron sand + 20 grams of carbon powder, and 55 grams of epoxy resin + 15 grams of iron sand + 30-gram carbon powder to produce distinct characteristic and properties. The fabrication of composite brake blocks was carried out using the vacuum infusion method. The tests conducted included hardness testing, wear testing, bending testing, and scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis. The results ofthe tests showed thatthe hardness was 102.66 HRR, and the bending strength was 5985 N/cm^2, meetingthe standard for railway composite brake blocks. However, the wear test result of 1.81 x 10^-6 mm^2/kgdid not meet the standard value for the wear of railway composite brake blocks. ABSTRAK Blok rem metalik dan komposit memiliki karakteristik dan keunggulan masing – masing yang harus dipertimbangkan berdasarkan kebutuhan dan kondisi operasional kereta api. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan blok rem komposit dengan serbuk karbon, pasir besi, dan resin epoxy serta untuk mengetahui karakteristiknya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 3 variasi komposisi meliputi 70 gram resin epoxy + 15 gram pasir besi + 15 gram serbuk karbon, 65 gram resin epoxy + 15gram pasir besi + 20 gram serbuk karbon, dan 55 gram resin epoxy + 15 gram pasir besi + 30 gram serbuk karbon untuk menghasilkan karakteristik dan sifat yang berbeda. Pembuatan blok rem komposit menggunakan metode vacuum infusion. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian kekerasan, keausan, bending, dan scanning electron microscope (SEM). Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwakekerasan sebesar 102,66 HRR dan uji bending sebesar 5985 N/????????2 memenuhi standar dari blok rem komposit kereta api, tetapi untuk uji keausan sebesar 1,81 x 10-6 mm2/kg tidak memenuhi standar nilaikeausan blok rem komposit kereta api.

Abstract

Losses due to accidents, especially at level railroad crossings, cause losses that are in line with the extent of accidents. The value of losses arising from accidents was studied to increase public awareness about the number of losses, both material and non-material losses. Each element of accident costs is assessed by gross power according to Pd.T-02-2005-B. The characteristics of traffic accidents are identified based on several factors including gender, transportation mode, and factors that cause accidents. Afterward, calculate the value of each element of the accident cost and the total accident cost. Victim’s estimated unit cost and the traffic accidents unit cost at railroad level crossings with barriers and without showing the result that the highest average per year is IDR 1.490.758.906 per accident. The amount of average traffic accident cost per year at railroad level crossing on intercity roads for the highest incident is IDR 1.241.181.688 per accident. The average traffic accident per year at railroad level crossing on city roads for the highest incident is IDR 863.664.801 per accident. The accident factors are shoving through a railroad level crossing, carelessness when crossing the railroad level crossing, disregarding signs when a train is about to pass, and being vigilant to warning signs when crossing a level crossing.

Abstract

Railway technology is increasingly developing and the railway mode is quite a lot of interest by the public with its various advantages making trains an interesting topic for learning materials. Railway safety also needs to be introduced to the community early on. Therefore, socialization related to railway modes and railway safety was carried out to preschool students, namely PAUD “Kasih Ibu” Madiun city students. In addition to introducing railway transportation, this socialization activity also supports the achievement of Learning Outcomes in PAUD, namely the basics of literacy, mathematics, science, technology, engineering and art. The material was delivered with flashcards containing pictures and words about railroad facilities, railroad infrastructure, crew of railroad facilities and railroad safety signs. The evaluation of the activity showed that the average understanding of the socialization participants of the material presented was 80%.

Abstract

Teknologi perkeretaapian yang semakin berkembang maju dan moda perkeretaapian yang cukup banyak diminati oleh masyarakat dengan berbagai kelebihannya menjadikan kereta api menjadi topik menarik untuk bahan pembelajaran. Perencanaan pembangunan prasarana perkeretaapian juga perlu di kenalkan kepada masyarakat sejak dini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan beberapa perangkat lunak untuk desain dan aplikasinya dalam perkeretaapian. Tujuan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap aplikasi-aplikasi dan dapat mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah siswa MAN 2 Kota Madiun. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa metode yaitu pemaparan materi di kelas oleh narasumber, pameran yang menampilkan produk desain serta kunjungan ke lapangan. Tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap trase kereta api, prasarana perkeretaapian dan software Civil 3D dan Infraworks sangat tinggi mencapai 90,5%.

Abstract

Indonesia’s location within the Pacific Ring of Fire makes it highly vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and landslides. This study analyzes disaster vulnerability along the planned Phase I route of the Bandung–Cirebon High-Speed Railway (Rancaekek–Cimalaka) using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools. The analysis includes hazard mapping for landslides, floods, and earthquakes, as well as multi-hazard classification and accuracy assessment. Results show 73 high-risk landslide points, 20 earthquake-prone locations, and 47 multi-hazard zones, primarily concentrated in segments DK 1–5, DK 10–32, and DK 29–33. These findings underscore the need for targeted mitigation and resilient infrastructure planning.
