Abstract

The demand for implementing robots into our daily lives has surged in recent years, necessitating safe grasping for effective interaction with the environment. However, a majority of researchers rely on commercial grippers for their experimental studies, which are typically expensive and not accessible to everyone. Despite the existence of open-source designs, the assembly process is often challenging and requires modifications to enhance secure grasping. This paper presents a simple, compact, and low-cost gripper to offer an accessible and readily deployable solution for research and education. The gripper utilizes a parallel four-bar linkage mechanism, minimizing the number of components and incorporating off-the-shelf parts for straightforward assembly. Furthermore, to enhance its capabilities, the proposed gripper implements a soft skin tactile sensor on its fingertips. These sensors offer three-directional measurements using Hall effect sensing and embedded silicone. By controlling fingertip force based on information from the tactile sensors, the gripper achieves safe grasping. The gripper is evaluated to grasp daily life objects with different properties such as shapes, sizes, and levels of deformability. Evaluation results showcase the gripper's versatility, enabling it to securely grasp various objects, including fragile items. This outcome underscores the gripper's effectiveness, versatility, and safety in practical use.

Abstract

This research seeks to develop a web service system that functions as a medical resume provision via RESTful API. Accurate and comprehensive medical records are critical in the identification and diagnosis of patients. Medical resumes, which summarize a patient's healthcare services and are completed by the responsible doctor, are an essential component of medical records. Electronic medical record systems can aid in patient care, and a patient's prior health history is crucial in developing a holistic and continuous treatment plan. Unfortunately, patients often require a fresh medical examination due to a lack of past health data. The proposed system can interconnect with other electronic medical record systems and facilitate the exchange of medical resume data between hospitals. This research employs the waterfall development system. The resultant system provides patient medical resumes from participating hospitals, offering a solution to the problem of inconsistent patient information and clinical data, and improves service quality and diagnosis accuracy based on available data.

Abstract

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) becomes a solution to help humans connect with computers. Research and tools related to HCI have been developed by many researchers. HCI is able to help humans connect between humans and computers and humans with humans at a considerable distance. One of HCI model is applied to the MyoWare tool that can capture hand muscle movements using an electromyograph (EMG) sensor. This article describes how to assemble and identify the raw data generated from the MyoWare tool. Using MyoWare on the hand could produce EMG data output. MyoWare only used the EMG sensor and generated data in the form of Envelope EMG and Raw EMG which differed in scale and size. This required a extraction features process to make the data uniform. This study uses the Moment Invariant method to extract features and min-max to normalize each data generated on the MyoWare sensor. Testing was done by doing simple hand movements. The test results showed that the differences in gestures were recognized well even though they were performed in different positions.

Abstract

Abstract

The analysis and study of decisions is actually popular and developed in countries with common law systems, legal scholars, researchers and practitioners there place their court decisions as the primary object of legal study, which is why the existence of court decisions is the main benchmark in applying and shaping the law. In the context of legal development in Indonesia, the study of this decision has had a good place among legal scholars and researchers, this has been proven by the existence of several works produced focusing on the analysis of decisions, such as those popularised by the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia by involving several campuses in Indonesia to conduct analysis of district court decisions under the Supreme Court. As usual, this research aims to examine and find the characteristics of judges' interpretations of the elements of Article 71 paragraph (1) of the Pilkada Law from various court decisions. This research is a normative research but by prioritising decisions as primary legal material. The results of this study are: first, there has been a shift in theoretical and legislative science regarding the concept of crossing norms between Article 71 paragraph (1) and Article 188, which was theoretically interpreted as primary and secondary norms, now after the decision of the District Court, both norms are primary norms. Second, there is an expansion of the meaning of the provisions of Article 71 paragraph (1) of the Local Election Law in terms of the meaning of the subject element and the meaning of the object of the norm and the condition of the norm.
