Abstract

Tourist areas that have enough objects and attractions will have the potential to be developed. With the exploitation of tourism potential and opportunities into an industry, is expected to increase the income of the community and the region. The research sample this analysis is coast at Kalianda of South Lampung. The problems studied in this paper is how the implementation of promotional strategies that need to be done in improving tourism management. This study aims to determine the implementation of  tourism promotion strategies and supporting factors. Research with (field research) is qualitative, data collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation. While the analysis using qualitative analysis (non statistics) which is descriptive qualitative, by using inductive thinking. Based on the results of research in coast at Kalianda of South Lampung, accordance with tourism promotion strategy in the perspective of Islamic economics that is honesty, sincerity and trust, and seen from the ethics of promotion in Islam also not sell out oath, not to promise, honest, Avoid fraud, and be willing to profit a little but a blessing.

Abstract

From 2019 to 2020, Payu Legi's sales turnover is expected to drop. The purpose of this research is to determine how Payu Legi's online store sales are affected by human resource development. Only Payu Legi in Sukabumi, Bandar Lampung, is examined in this study. Payu Legi, the proprietors of small businesses, were the subjects of this survey. Five persons participated in this study: one owner and four staff. Descriptive data analysis is used in this form of qualitative study. All data gathered from the field, including observations, interviews, and data included in specific documents, are included in data gathering. To view the whole picture or just one component of the study, data is presented in an effort to do so. Payu Legi's online shop's sales have suffered as a consequence of its Human Resource Development efforts, according to a study on "Analysis of Human Resource Development to Increase Sales of Payu Legi's Online Shop." This is because in finding employees employers do not pay attention to the skills and education of these employees so that employers must teach their employees from zero to understand. For business actors, it is expected to focus on developing human resources for the employees they already have because good human resources will have a positive impact on production, promotion, quality, service, and so on in chip shops which will directly increase sales turnover.

Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is a widely utilized plant in daily life, serving as a fresh vegetable, a base for pickles, juice, and even cosmetics. However, cucumber production in Indonesia has experienced a significant decline, partly due to the suboptimal availability of nutrients in the cultivation land. This study aims to explore the effects of guano organic fertilizer and rice wash water liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. The research was conducted in Bentiring Village, Bengkulu City, using a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor was guano fertilizer with doses G0 (control), G1 (100 g/plant), G2 (200 g/plant), and G3 (300 g/plant), while the second factor was rice wash water POC with concentrations P0 (control), P1 (25 ml/L), P2 (50 ml/L), and P3 (75 ml/L). The analysis of variance revealed a significant interaction between guano fertilizer and rice wash water POC on various cucumber growth parameters, such as tendril length, number of leaves, number of fruits, fruit length, as well as fruit weight per plant and per plot. The best results were obtained from the combination of 300 g/plant of guano fertilizer and 75 ml/L of rice wash water POC, which produced a plot fruit weight of 2.01 kg. This study demonstrates that both types of fertilizers can improve the quality and quantity of cucumber yield, with rice wash water POC enhancing soil structure and increasing nutrient availability. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan internet dan penggunaan media digital terhadap perilaku belanja online Generasi Z di Kota Bandar Lampung, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner online kepada 100 responden Generasi Z berusia 20–24 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS melalui uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, serta uji hipotesis dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan internet berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja online Generasi Z, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan internet, semakin besar kecenderungan Gen Z melakukan belanja online. Selain itu, penggunaan media digital juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja online, terutama melalui peran media sosial dan konten digital dalam membentuk minat serta keputusan pembelian. Secara simultan, penggunaan internet dan media digital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja online Generasi Z di Kota Bandar Lampung. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa internet dan media digital merupakan faktor penting yang saling melengkapi dalam membentuk pola konsumsi Gen Z di era digital.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup berdampak pada perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bandar Lampung. Mahasiswa harus memiliki perilaku pengelolaan keuangan yang baik agar mereka dapat mengelola pendapatan dan pengeluaran mereka dengan baik dan menghindari masalah keuangan. Studi ini melakukan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bandar Lampung yang telah aktif setidaknya selama tiga semester. Metode pengambilan sampel purposive digunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak statistik untuk regresi linier berganda setelah dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bandar Lampung. Gaya hidup juga berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi mahasiswa dan pihak akademik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan perilaku mereka tentang pengelolaan keuangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dapat melakukan pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih baik jika mereka memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang keuangan dan cara menjalani gaya hidup yang lebih bijak.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between discipline and work motivation and teacher performance, both individually and simultaneously, in the context of elementary education. Methods a quantitative correlational associative design was used. All 30 teachers at public elementary school 3 Negara Ratu, South Lampung were selected via census sampling. Data were collected using a validated 30-item likert-scale (1-5) questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regressions, preceded by normality (Shapiro-Wilk), multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Results is work discipline and motivation simultaneously and significantly influence teacher performance (F = 14.059; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Work discipline (β = 0.407; p = 0.033) and work motivation (β = 0.498; p = 0.019) each have a significant positive effect. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.510) indicates that both variables explain 51% of the variance in teacher performance. Conclusion is work discipline and work motivations are key determinants of teacher performance. Schools should enforce consistent work regulations and cultivate motivational environments to improve educational quality.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the effect of competency certification on employee performance and examine the mediating role of innovation in strengthening this relationship. In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, organizations must continuously improve the quality of their human resources to remain competitive. Competency certification provides formal recognition of employees’ knowledge, skills, and professionalism. However, its impact on performance may be limited if not accompanied by innovative practices. Therefore, this study investigates whether innovation can function as a mechanism that enhances the effect of competency certification on employee performance. Methodology: This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents with experience in competency certification. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. Results: The results indicate that competency certification positively and significantly affects employee performance, with a path coefficient of 0.662. Competency certification also positively affects innovation, with a coefficient of 0.416, and innovation influences performance, with a coefficient of 0.381. The mediation analysis shows that competency certification indirectly improves performance through innovation, with a value of 0.159, although the direct effect remains stronger. Conclusions: Innovation partially mediates the relationship between competency certification and employee performance. Limitations: This study was limited by its small sample size. Nevertheless. Contributions: This study contributes to the human resource management literature by highlighting the importance of integrating competency certification with innovation-oriented organizational practices.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of global trends on the development of tourism and creative business sectors in Lampung Province. Methodology/approach: The research employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review, drawing data from scientific articles, research reports, books, and official statistical sources. Results/findings: Global trends such as the rise in tourist visits, digitalization, and environmental awareness significantly impact local economic growth, tourism product diversification, and promotional activities in Lampung Province. Conclusions: Global trends including the growth of tourist arrivals, diversification of tourism products, the emergence of digital tourism ambassadors, and increased environmental awareness have significantly influenced the tourism and creative business sectors in Lampung Province. These developments present both opportunities and challenges that require strategic adaptation and collaboration among local governments, business actors, and communities. By adopting digital technologies, promoting sustainable tourism practices, and leveraging cultural and natural resources, Lampung can strengthen its competitiveness and achieve sustainable regional development. Conclusion: This study shows that adaptation to global trends supports tourism and creative economy development in Lampung Province through digitalization, diversification, and sustainability. The findings underline the role of local innovation and stakeholder collaboration in regional development and suggest the need for stronger digital capacity and sustainable tourism policies Limitations: This study is limited to literature-based analysis and does not include empirical field data to validate the findings. Contribution: The research provides strategic recommendations for policymakers and business stakeholders to capitalize on global trends for developing sustainable tourism and creative industries in Lampung Province.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine and evaluate the impact of professionalism, work discipline, and work motivation on employee performance within the Intelligence and Security Unit of the Bandar Lampung Police. This research adopts a quantitative approach. A saturated sampling technique was applied, involving the entire population as the research sample, consisting of 60 respondents. Data were analyzed using classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that professionalism, work discipline, and work motivation significantly affect performance both partially and simultaneously among members of the Intelligence and Security Unit of the Bandar Lampung Police. Collectively, these variables account for 89.1% of the variance in performance, while the remaining 10.9% is explained by other factors not included in this study.
