Abstract

In determining the success of providing measles immunization, it can be seen from the even and high coverage of measles immunization. Measles immunization must be carried out in accordance with the rules so that it functions well so that it works optimally, while immunization that is not timely does not work optimally, causing KLBPD3I and failure to implement immunization evenly. The aim of this research is the relationship between maternal attitudes and the timeliness of measles immunization in Sungai Jalau Village, UPT Puskesmas Sawah Working Area. The research design used cross sectional. The sample for this study was mothers who had babies aged 9–12 months using a total sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using a questionnaire. The research results showed that there was a relationship between maternal attitudes and the timeliness of measles immunization with a p value of 0.002 (<0.05). Based on the results of the chi square test, it was found that 26 respondents behaved well, with 18 people having immunization on time and 8 people not on time, while 12 people behaved less well, with 11 people not being on time and 1 person being on time. With the results of this study, researchers hope that all mothers will be able to provide measles immunization to their children according to the specified time and will be able to understand the importance of measles immunization for their children

Abstract

Diarrhea is still a global problem with high levels of morbidity and mortality in various countries, especially in developing countries, and is also one of the main causes of high morbidity and mortality rates for children under five in the world, especially for children aged 1 to 4 years. The role of midwives is very important in providing midwifery care to toddlers with diarrhea problems. Obtaining evidence based in addition to Varney's 7 steps regarding 5 types of diarrhea as a reference for handling toddlers with diarrhea and obtaining treatment for diarrhea. This research aims to determine midwifery care for toddlers with diarrhea problems at the Risanna Midwife Independent Practice in the Laboy Jaya Health Center Work Area in 2023. The type of research used in the case study is descriptive research. The subject of this case study is a toddler with diarrhea, namely An.F. The results of this research were midwifery care for toddlers aged 4 years who experienced diarrhea problems at PMB Risanna, Laboy Jaya Community Health Center Working Area in 2023, by providing ORS, zinc tablets, nutritious food in small but frequent portions (eggs, vegetables, temped and tofu) and health education on how to prevent diarrhea in toddlers. The assessment was carried out using SOAP and carried out in 3 visits with the result that An.F recovered from diarrhea. It is hoped that mothers of toddlers will prevent dehydration in toddlers who experience diarrhea, such as giving ORS from household kitchen ingredients, namely a mixture of salt and sugar as initial management for toddlers suffering from diarrhea

Abstract

Kehamilan merupakan periode ketika seorang wanita mengandung embrio atau janin di dalam tubuhnya. Pengetahuan mengenai perawatan kehamilan menjadi landasan penting bagi ibu hamil dalam menjalankan upaya pemeliharaan kesehatan selama masa gestasi. Perawatan kehamilan mencakup rangkaian layanan berkesinambungan mulai dari kehamilan, persalinan, kelahiran hingga masa nifas, yang meliputi skrining, edukasi, deteksi dini, pengobatan, pencegahan, serta pemulihan. Seluruh proses ini bertujuan memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi ibu sehingga mampu merawat bayinya secara optimal. Dengan demikian, pemahaman yang baik diperlukan karena individu dengan tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan yang memadai cenderung menerapkan perilaku hidup sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai perawatan selama kehamilan di Desa Lipatkain Selatan Kecamatan Kampar Kiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah 73 ibu hamil, dan sampel sebanyak 42 orang diperoleh melalui rumus Slovin. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan kehamilan berada pada kategori baik sebesar 88,1%, kategori cukup 7,1%, dan kategori kurang 4,8%. Disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas ibu hamil di Desa Lipatkain Selatan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik terkait perawatan kehamilan.
