Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of about 140 mm Hg or diastolic pressure of about 90 mm Hg. Hypertension is a problem that needs to be watched out for, because there are no specific signs of hypertension and some people still feel healthy to carry out their usual activities. This makes hypertension a silent killer. Hypertension occurs because it is influenced by risk factors. Risk factors that cause hypertension are age, gender, obesity, alcohol, genetics, stress, salt intake, smoking, patterns of physical activity, kidney disease and diabetes mellitus. The achievement of community service goals can be said to be very good (85%). There is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly and their families regarding hypertension, symptoms of hypertension, risk factors and prevention of hypertension. there is an increase of 80% of the elderly for routine blood pressure control using a digital tensimeter device and finally there is an increase in the knowledge of the elderly how to treat hypertension through progressive muscle relaxation techniques. The implementation of socialization activities to increase the knowledge of the elderly about the management of hypertension prevention in the Simpang Kubu village can run smoothly and obtain results according to the expected activity objectives. The purpose of this Community Service is measured. Achievement of material targets that have been planned can be said to be very good (85%). All material is delivered by a dedicated team for a limited time. The material that has been presented about hypertension includes the definition of hypertension, symptoms, risk factors and prevention of hypertension, explaining the stages of implementing hypertension management by carrying out routine blood pressure control and practicing progressive muscle relaxation activities and practiced by trainers and being asked to repeat one by one by the elderly and family members who come accompanied by cadres and trainers. Evaluation is carried out at the end of the activity. Evaluation is carried out after the assistance is carried out. The results obtained are an increase in knowledge and skills about increasing knowledge of the elderly and families regarding hypertension, how to carry out preventive management of hypertension by carrying out the stages of preventive management of hypertension in a routine way to monitor blood pressure, then being able to carry out progressive muscle relaxation techniques. Abstract

Hypertension in the elderly is characterized by blood pressure of 160/90 mmHg. Hypertension in the elderly occurs due to lack of physical activity, overnutrition, lack of fruit, vegetable consumption and high sodium consumption. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between physical activity, overnutrition, fruit, vegetable and sodium consumption with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Bukit Kemuning, Kampar, Riau. The type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. with a sample of 50 people using the total sampling technique. Data collection using a 24-hour activity recall questionnaire, microtoise, digital scales, 1x24-hour food recall form, Food Frequency Form (FFQ), and digital tensiometer. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square. The results of the study obtained 48.1% of respondents with light activity, 37 respondents 71.2% were not overnutrition, respondents had hypertension. There is a relationship between physical activity and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly, there is no relationship between overnutrition (p = 0.181) and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. Based on this research, it is expected that respondents will routinely carry out physical activities regularly and check their blood pressure at least once a month at the elderly health post.

Abstract

The research identification of medicinal plants was conducted in the environment of Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. Riau community has long known and utilized medicinal plants as traditional medicines, these medicinal plants have been used in traditional medicine for generations as an effort to maintain health, prevent disease, and care for health. Traditional medicinal plants serve as primary materials for traditional medicines and are acknowledged for their health benefits. The aim of this study was to classify medical plant species of medicinal plants. Data collection involved surveys and interviews, and the classification was carried out using herbarium methods. The results identified 20 species of medicinal plants across 14 families. Predominantly, these families were associated with the Zingiberaceae family, encompassing species such as Curcuma Domestica, Curcuma Xontoriza, Kaempferia Galanga, Renguas Galanga, Zingiber Officinale, Costus Speciosus. Parts of the plant used as medicine vary depending on the type of plant, the most widely used plant organs are leaves, rhizomes and roots.

Abstract

The incidence of CED in pregnant women in Indonesia according to the results of basic health research (Riskesdas) in 2018 shows that the prevalence of CED risk in pregnant women is 17.3%. A person is said to be at risk of CED if the Upper Arm Circumference (LILA) is <23.5 cm. LILA is a way to determine the risk of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women. The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between anemia and family income with the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in pregnant women in the Batu Bersurat health center working area, Kampar Regency in 2023. Type The research is a quantitative analytical research with a cross sectional design. The research was conducted on 02-09 October 2023 with a population of 180 pregnant women and a sample of 180 pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Community Health Center, Kampar Regency, using total sampling data collection techniques. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test. The results of the final assignment report found that there was a relationship between anemia and the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Community Health Center, Kampar Regency in 2023 (p value = 0.002) and there was no relationship between income and the incidence of CED in pregnant women in the working area of the Batu Bersurat Regency Community Health Center. Kampar in 2023 (p value = 0.784). It is hoped that Batu Bersurat Community Health Center officers will need to provide nutritional education about CED and how to prevent CED in pregnant women.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, especially in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), namely from the fetus to 24 months. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Ranah Village, the UPT working area. Air Tiris health center in 2023. This research is an analytical study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all mothers who had toddlers in Ranah Village, the working area of ??the Air Tiris Health Center UPT, namely 155 toddlers. The sample in this study was  toddlers using random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis and the Fisher Exact Test. The results of research on unhealthy home environmental sanitation were 19 respondents (17.1%), most of the toddlers experienced stunting in the Stunting category, namely 18 toddlers (16.2%) and there was a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting among toddlers at the Air Tiris Health Center in 2023 ( ? value = 0.00). There is a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Unhealthy home environmental sanitation will increase the risk of children suffering from stunting to a greater extent than children from families with healthy home environmental sanitation. So it can be concluded that the main problem of environmental sanitation is improving clean water facilities, healthy latrine facilities and providing rubbish bins.

Abstract

Morning sicknessis a very common condition that occurs in pregnant women, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy. In essence, morning sicknessis a normal thing, but it really needs to be given care or monitoring, because if left unchecked it can also be dangerous for the mother, including on the fetus. Factors that cause morning sicknessare hormonal changes in the body during pregnancy, namely increased estrogen and Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) and psychological factors such as feelings of anxiety, husband's support, social environmental factors, culture and economic conditions. This research is in the form of a case study, with descriptive observational research methods carried out at the PMB Helni Ramza on 21-26 August 2023. With the results, Ny.R 24 years old G1P0A0 UK 8 weeks with morning sickness, namely experiencing good changes from day to day, at the first visit the mother complained that she felt very often experiencing something called nausea and vomiting in the morning which made the mother weak and had no appetite, at the second visit the mother still complaining of nausea and vomiting but there has been a good change from the previous day and the results of the examination are within normal limits, on the 3rd visit the mother's condition is getting better and the mother says she no longer experiences significant nausea and vomiting or is no longer a problem like the previous condition, and from results of examination of the mother's condition. Thus it can be concluded that the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the most important problems faced by public health because hypertension in pregnancy is a major cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. This study aims to determine midwifery care for pregnant women in the second trimester with gestational hypertension at PMB Helni Ramzah S.Tr.Keb in the Sibiruang Koto Kampar Hulu Community Health Center Work Area in 2023. The type of research used in the case study is descriptive research. The subject of this case study is a pregnant woman with gestational hypertension. The results of this research showed that midwifery care for pregnant women was provided by Ny. R, 24 years old, G1P0A0 experienced good changes from day to day, at the first visit the mother felt headache accompanied by nausea, pain scale 4, the pregnant woman's blood pressure was high, namely TD 140/93 mmHg. At the second visit the mother still felt headache accompanied by nausea, pain scale 3, blood pressure was still high, namely TD 140/90 mmHg. On the third visit, the mother stated that the headache had begun to decrease to the shoulders and nausea (+), appetite had begun to improve, the pain scale had dropped to 3 and blood pressure was still high at 138/90 mmHg. On the fourth visit, the mother felt that the headache and nausea had decreased, the pain scale had decreased to 2 and the blood pressure had also decreased or returned to normal to 135/80 mmHg. Pregnant women are expected to consume foods low in salt to keep blood pressure under control and avoid gestational hypertension.

Abstract

A perineal wound is a tear that occurs in the perineal area spontaneously or deliberately by cutting (episiotomy) to make the birth of the baby easier. Efforts to care for perineal wounds are very important to prevent infection in the perineal wound. Acceleration in wound healing is highly expected, one of which is by consuming high protein, namely eggs. This research aims to provide care to postpartum mothers with perineal wounds at PMB Dewi Sartika in the working area of ??the Kuok Community Health Center in 2024. This research is in the form of a case study with a descriptive observational method carried out on Ny. A at PMB Dewi Sartika on July 4-10 July in 2024. The results of the case study research given to Ny. A namely three visits over 1 week. The midwifery care provided is in the form of counseling on how to care for perineal wounds, teaching mothers personal hygiene in the perineum and genitalia area, giving mothers eggs to boil and consume twice every day. Based on the care given to Ny. A In conclusion, the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for readers, researchers and increase insight and develop knowledge regarding care for postpartum mothers with perineal wounds.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas 2016 proporsi nasional Rumah tangga dengan PHBS yang memenuhi syarat adalah 32,3%. Terdapat 20 Propinsi yang masih memiliki Rumah Tangga dengan PHBS baik dibawah proporsi nasional. Proporsi tertinggi yaitu DKI Jakarta (56,8%) dan terendah Papua (16,4%). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat Di Dalam Tatanan Rumah Tangga Di Desa Pulau Rambai Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kampar Timur Tahun 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu rumah tangga di Pulau Rambai yang berjumlah 823 KK dengan sampel sebanyak 89 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berpengetahuan kurang tentang PHBS yaitu 59,6%, sebagian besar responden berstatus ekonomi rendah yaitu 58,4%, sebagian besar responden tidak berperan dalam tenaga kesehatan yaitu 55,1% dan sebagian besar responden memiliki rumah tangga tidak berPHBS yaitu 64%. Berdasarkan uji statistik didapatkan kesimpulan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan PHBS di dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,000, adanya hubungan antara status ekonomi dengan PHBS dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,002 dan adanya hubungan antara peran tenaga kesehatan dengan PHBS dalam tatanan rumah tangga yaitu 0,002. Diharapkan ada peningkatan tenaga promosi kesehatan di Puskesmas dari segi kualitas dan kuantitasnya serta puskesmas mengandalkan buku pedoman dan kartu PHBS agar petugas yang melaksanakan tugas mempunyai saran dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman petugas.

Abstract

Personal hygiene penting bagi ibu hamil untuk mencegah infeksi yang dapat membahayakan ibu dan janin. Namun, masih banyak ibu hamil yang kurang memahami cara menjaga kebersihan diri selama kehamilan. Kurangnya pengetahuan ini dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor sosiodemografi dengan tingkat pengetahuan personal hygiene pada ibu hamil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 52 responden, yang diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling, yaitu ibu hamil yang hadir selama periode penelitian dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji chi-square. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan personal hygiene (p<0,05). Faktor usia dan pekerjaan dan pendapatan keluarga tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan (p>0,05). Pendidikan berhubungan dengan tingkat pengetahuan personal hygiene pada ibu hamil. Diperlukan peningkatan edukasi kesehatan, terutama bagi ibu dengan pendidikan rendah.
