Abstract

Education and motivation are pivotal in shaping the development of individuals and communities, particularly for Generation Z, who face unique socio-economic challenges in rural settings. This study aims to analyze the influence of education and motivation on the skills, mindset, and future prospects of Generation Z in Kuala Air Hitam Village, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 44 respondents aged 13 to 28 years. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multicollinearity tests, multiple linear regression, F tests, and T-tests. The findings confirm that education and motivation together significantly affect potential of Generation Z, explaining 60.8% of the variation in their outcomes, with motivation having a stronger influence (t = 4.313, significance = 0.000) than education (t = 3.496, significance = 0.001). Both variables independently contribute to enhancing skills and prospects. The study concludes that integrating educational improvements with motivational programs is essential to unlock the potential of Generation Z, enabling them to overcome rural challenges and contribute to sustainable community development. Collaborative efforts among stakeholders are recommended to support these initiatives.

Abstract

The resilience of the global Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) supply chain has become a strategic issue in public health systems, especially due to the high dependence on two major suppliers: China and India. This reliance poses significant risks in the event of production disruptions, geopolitical conflicts, or restrictive export policies. This study aims to analyze the core challenges in the global API supply chain and identify mitigation strategies that can be applied by developing countries such as Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative method was used through a literature review of secondary data, including national journals, government policy documents, and reports from global health organizations such as WHO and WTO. The findings show that dependence on China and India significantly affects the availability and pricing of medicines and disrupts the continuity of national pharmaceutical production. Three main mitigation strategies are identified: diversification of API sources, strengthening of domestic API manufacturing through incentives and industrial zones, and adoption of digital technologies to improve supply chain visibility. In conclusion, building API supply chain resilience requires an integrated approach involving government support, industry collaboration, and international cooperation. This study emphasizes the urgency for pharmaceutical system transformation to become more self-reliant and responsive to global challenges.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi efektif dalam manajemen talenta untuk menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang di era digital. Metode penelitian melibatkan tinjauan literatur yang mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi tren terkini dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia dan teknologi yang relevan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya peningkatan hard skills dan soft skills, penguasaan bahasa asing, serta pelatihan praktis di dalam dan di luar lingkungan kerja untuk mempersiapkan karyawan menghadapi perubahan yang cepat. Kesimpulannya, implementasi strategi ini memberikan fondasi yang kuat bagi organisasi dalam mempertahankan daya saingnya dan memaksimalkan potensi karyawan di era digital yang dinamis ini.
