Abstract

Supply chain management is the management of the entire process of production, distribution and marketing to allow consumers to supply the desired product. To ensure the basic needs of the national supply chain, the government issued a policy in the form of Presidential Regulation Number 71 Year 2015 concerning the Stipulation and Storage Basic Foodstuffs and Essential Goods. Staples in this policy is the stuff that concerns the lives of many people with high scale of perceived needs and be a factor supporting the welfare of society, in this case including staples result / agricultural products. Agricultural commodity supply chain policy is a form of government control of the availability of supplies and stability of agricultural commodity prices. This paper analyzes the policy-setting and storage of agricultural products in order to protect the perpetrators of the supply chain from upstream to downstream. On the policy of price stability, the reference price is an effort to protect consumers and farmers. The problem that occurs is the traders who do not follow the reference price set by the government on farm products that include such basic needs. While the policy of stock management and logistics, the government guarantees the availability of supplies. In practice some agricultural product supply chain actors more interested in selling their products outside the region attracted by the higher prices. The weakness of existing policies so far is more focused on the technical implementation of supply management.

Abstract

Supply chain management application that has been there, has yet to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in managing suppliers to remain loyal to the company. Still a bit of research on the relationship between supply chain strategy with organizational culture and explains that the design of supply chain information effectively requires an understanding of the cultural traits that underlie the organization. The purpose of this study is to model Organizational Culture and Practices of Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Performance Against the Case Study: Sub Industry Sector-based Snacks tubers in Padang. The result of this research is the average respondent answered an organizational culture focused on results than attention to the techniques and processes used to achieve neutral results and activities of the organization emphasizes the status quo as a contrast to the growth of the organization's culture is neutral. Item questions that represent the performance of supply chain obtained an average yield of respondents agreed the need for measurement results that can be trusted, the necessity of the desire of the staff and employees to assist customers and provide service with a response in receiving requests, complaints, suggestions, criticism, complaints, and so on the product or service received by consumers, need the ability to adapt and work effectively in different circumstances and with different individuals or groups, the need for the production trend, quarterly consolidated balance sheet, listing the name of the supplier / principal. For Item questions about the practice of supply chain management stated that the importance of the strategic partnership agreed suppliers 80% and 20% neutral, the importance Partner) agreed, as well as relationships with customers, the level of information sharing, the quality of information while the items declared neutral delay. By using SEM obtained a significant correlation between the practices of supply chain management of organizational culture with determination coefficient of 0,94 as well as between management practices on the performance of supply chain and the performance of a significant relationship with determination coefficient of 0,8 but not acquired a significant relationship between organizational culture with the performance of the supply chain although the coefficient of determination of 0,71. Abstract

PT. IGASAR merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang berafiliasi dengan PT. Semen Padang dimana selama ini sistem evaluasi supplier masih menggunakan penilaian berdasarkan subjektifitas. Evaluasi supplier menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam supply chain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang Vendor Performance Indicator (VPI) yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan, mengukur dan mengevaluasi performansi supplier supplier dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebuah rancangan sistem evaluasi supplier yang meliputi 12 IKP sebagai indikator kinerja supplier batu mangga yaitu : Quality meliputi ketepatan jenis bahan yang dikirimkan, dan ketepatan ukuran, Cost meliputi harga barang, dan besaran potongan harga, Delivery meliputi ketepatan kuantitas barang yang dikirimkan, dan waktu pengiriman, Flexibility meliputi dipenuhinya perubahan jumlah material yang dipesan, dipenuhinya perubahan waktu pengiriman, dan dipenuhinya penggantian material yang tidak sesuai, dan Responsiveness meliputi respon supplier terhadap masalah atau keluhan, respon supplier terhadap perubahan jumlah permintaan, respon supplier terhadap perubahan jadwal pengiriman. Ketiga supplier batu mangga memiliki skor kinerja sebesar 89 persen yang berada pada zona kuning dimana perlu ditingkatkan. Kata kunci : evaluasi, kinerja supplier, VPI, AHP

Abstract

The admission of new students at the Polytechnic of Furniture and Wood Processing Industry (Polifurneka) has a significant impact on the quality of education, One of which is the level of competence of the new students who are accepted. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the development of a new student admission selection system using the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) online examination system to produce competent students. There are three online exam system options that can be implemented at the Furniture and Wood Processing Industry Polytechnic, namely the online exam system by making your own, an online exam system provided by PT. X and online exam system of premium upgrade google form. Therefore these three options must be analyzed economically and technologically. Based on the economic and technological feasibility analysis, an online exam is chosen that is self-exam. In the economic feasibility of the online exam made by itself, it provides a Payback Ratio (PP) value of 0.12 years, Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 446.088.408,-, Return On Investment (ROI) of 13,229%, and from the results of technology analysis, the online exam made by yourself is considered feasible because there is an additional listening question feature and storage capacity of up to 900,000 register per month.

Abstract

Record is an important aspect to a company’s administration. In the import export department at PT Semeru Karya Buana, this matter is even more significant because of its role as one of the requirements from government to acquire the economical facilities and advantages as a bonded zone company. In the beginning of 2023, company have a lot of reimport, which needs records’ retrieving related to the transaction. But, because of the inexistence of sufficient record management system, it has become a problem in effectiveness and efficiency. That’s why, the existence of an electronic records management system enables the company to do records-related activities like storing, searching and retrieving of records easier compared to a conventional records management system. The design of this electronic records management system is based on System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model and black box testing. The data used in this research are the results of writer’s observation while having the second and third period industrial practice in 2023. The research results show that this electronic archive management system is able to provide a more efficient mechanism for searching and retrieving documents. This system has proven to be a better alternative for archiving activities in the export-import department of PT. Semeru Karya Buana compared to the conventional archiving methods previously used.

Abstract

Penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Politeknik Industri Furnitur dan Pengolahan Kayu (Polifurneka) memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kualitas pendidikan, Salah satunya adalah tingkat kompetensi dari mahasiswa baru yang diterima. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan optimasi pengembagan sistem seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru menggunakan sistem ujian online CAT (Computer Asissted Test) untuk menghasilkan mahaiswa yang berkompeten. Terdapat tiga opsi sistem ujian online yang dapat di implementasikan di Polteknik Industri Furnitur dan Pengolahan Kayu yaitu sistem ujian online dengan membuat sendiri, sistem ujian online yang dihandel oleh vendor dan sistem ujian online dari upgrade premium google form. Oleh karena itu ketiga opsi ini harus dianalisis secara ekonomi dan teknologi. Analisis kelayakan ekonomi dan teknologi dapat membantu dalam menentukan opsi sistem ujian online yang memiliki nilai tambah untuk menggantikan metode penerimaan mahasiswa baru yang ada. Analisis kelayakan ekonomi akan mengevaluasi berapa banyak biaya yang terkait dengan penerimaan mahasiswa baru, termasuk biaya pembuatan, pemeliharaan dan pembaruan. Analisis kelayakan teknologi akan mengevaluasi kemampuan teknis yang diperlukan dalam sistem CAT untuk mengembangkan ujian online. Dengan demikian, analisis kelayakan ekonomi dan teknologi dapat menentukan opsi ujian online yang menjadi solusi yang efisien dan efektif untuk penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Polifurneka dan analisis kelayakan ini akan membantu dalam meningkatkan efisiensi karena mengurangi biaya penerimaan mahasiswa baru, mengetahui keefektifan teknologi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengembangkan ujian online agar dapat menghasilkan hasil yang berkualitas, dan juga apakah hasil ujian online dapat diandalkan untuk menggantikan metode penerimaan mahasiswa baru yang ada.

Abstract

In recent years, Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) has gained significant attention due to the challenges posed by climate change, primarily driven by human activities and harmful emissions. The furniture industry presents considerable potential for GSCM adoption but faces challenges, including high costs, low environmental awareness, and limited government support. This study aimed to identify critical success factors (CSFs) for GSCM implementation in the furniture industry. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, articles from Scopus and Google Scholar were examined to identify key CSFs. Six CSFs were found management commitment, investment in technology and collaboration, stakeholder involvement, environmental sustainability strategy, environmental regulations and incentives, and performance assessment and monitoring. The study highlighted the importance of a comprehensive approach, outlining essential steps for GSCM implementation, such as strategy development, green practice adoption, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, it emphasized integrating green purchasing, internal environmental management, and forming collaborative partnerships with stakeholders. Regular evaluations were critical to track progress, align with sustainability objectives, and identify areas for improvement. The study contributes to the GSCM literature by offering practical insights and recommendations for furniture companies, including conducting a SWOT analysis, setting clear sustainability goals, collaborating with eco-friendly suppliers, and securing top management support. These findings provide valuable guidance for the furniture industry to achieve sustainability, improve efficiency, and enhance competitiveness in the global market. Abstract

The JIFFINA 2023 exhibition is one of the prestigious events expected to stimulate economic growth in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. In 2022, JIFFINA was held in August and successfully recorded transactions worth USD 24 million, with at least 2,000 buyers from various countries. This study investigates the influence of layout and display on consumer interest at the JIFFINA 2023 furniture exhibition. JIFFINA 2023 aims to attract a larger number of visitors compared to the previous year. To achieve this goal, the exhibition is required to enhance its overall quality. These enhancements are determined not only by the quality of the products but also by the effectiveness of their arrangement and presentation. Well-organized exhibition booths have the potential to draw more visitors and increase the likelihood of sales. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings are expected to provide a theoretical contribution to the study of purchase interest in furniture exhibitions and to support the development of the furniture industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background Problems: Managing state budget deficits is crucial for fiscal sustainability, particularly in emerging economies like Indonesia. Despite existing fiscal policies, gaps remain in their implementation, compounded by issues like low tax compliance, inefficient spending, and external economic shocks. Introduction/Main Objectives: This study investigated the role of the state and citizens in managing the budget deficit, with a focus on Indonesia's fiscal policy and the importance of public engagement in addressing fiscal challenges. Novelty: This research introduces a novel approach by incorporating citizen participation into fiscal deficit management, an aspect often overlooked in traditional fiscal policy frameworks. It emphasizes the role of public involvement in enhancing fiscal discipline, transparency, and accountability. Research Methods: A systematic literature review (SLR) was employed to synthesize studies on fiscal policy, budget management, and public participation. The review identifies best practices from both domestic and international contexts for managing fiscal deficits. Findings/Results: Key strategies for managing Indonesia’s budget deficit include enforcing balanced budget policies, controlling expenditures, and utilizing fiscal reserves. The study highlights the crucial role of citizens in supporting these strategies through engagement in policy discussions, oversight of public spending, and promoting tax compliance. Conclusion: The study concludes that sustainable fiscal management requires a combination of technical policy reforms and active citizen participation. Public involvement in fiscal governance can improve transparency and enhance the effectiveness of deficit management, fostering long-term economic stability.
