Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dimodelkan penyebaran konsentrasi polutan di udara akibat emisi pabrik melalui persamaan difusi advektif. Sebagai syarat batas, polutan dianggap berasal dari suatu sumber titik dan penyebaran konsentrasinya dipengaruhi oleh stabilitas atmosfir. Selanjtunya, model diselesaikan dengan bahasa pemrograman MATLAB. Pada kondisi atmosfir stabil, polutan terkonsentrasi pada daerah dengan jarak 27-28 kilometer dari sumber polutan dengan nilai konsentrasi sebesar 3,1 mg/m3. Sedangkan pada kondisi atmosfir netral, konsentrasi polutan maksimum berada pada jarak 2,1 kilometer dari sumber dengan nilai 11 mg/m3. Pada kondisi atmosfir labil, konsentrasi polutan berada pada daerah yang cukup dekat dengan sumber, yaitu 0,6 kilometer dengan nilai 14,55 mg/m3. MODELING OF AIRBORNE-POLLUTANT SPREADING USING THE SOLUTION OF ADVECTIVE-DIFFUSION EQUATIONABSTRACTThe spreading of airbone-pollutant concentration that was resulted from factory effluent was modelled using advective-diffusion equation. In this modelling, it was considered that airbone-pollutant was resulted from a stationary point source and its spreading was affected by atmospheric stability. Model was completed by MATLAB programming. When atmosphere was stable, the pollutant was concentrated at 27-28 km distance from the source concentration 3,1 mg/m3. The maximum concentration of pollutant was 11 mg/m3 at 2,1 km distance under neutral atmosphere condition. The pollutant was concentrated at 0,6 km with magnitude 14,55 mg/m3 if the atmosphere was unstable.

Abstract

Research has been conducted to produce an Arduino Uno-based control system in improving the quality of chrysanthemum production. Data on the state of the greenhouse environment are taken from the DHT22 sensor (air temperature and humidity meter), and BH1750 sensor (light intensity meter). To determine the ability of the control system as a means of controlling white rust disease in chrysanthemums, a comparison of the percentage of white rust disease in greenhouses measuring (5 × 10) m each applied by the control system and without a control system. The results of this study show the response of the control system can work well in the two phases of chrysanthemum growth. The created system is able to automate regular watering of plants and the addition of light according to the needs of chrysanthemums. White rust disease control using a control system was able to produce 14.94% better quality of chrysanthemum crop production than without using a control system. With this control system, it has an impact on the cost of maintaining chrysanthemums such as the use of pesticides in dealing with white rust disease. Abstract

Kelurahan Tumumpa Satu merupakan salah satu daerah di Kota Manado yang terdampak banjir akibat luapan Sungai Bailang. Sebagai upaya mitigasi banjir perlu dibangun sistem peringatan dini di kawasan tersebut dan edukasi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat dalam pengembangan sistem peringatan dini banjir. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan untuk melatih aparat pemerintah kelurahan dan kader karang taruna sehingga memiliki kemampuan untuk membuat sistem peringatan dini sederhana berbasis Internet of Things (IOT) sebagai upaya mitigasi banjir di DAS Bailang di Kelurahan Tumumpa Satu Kota Manado. Pelatihan diberikan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu Tahap Inisiasi, Tahap Implementasi dan Tahap Supervisi-Evaluasi. Tahap Inisiasi adalah tahapan membangun kesadaran dan kesiapan mengikuti pelatihan. Tahap Implementasi merupakan tahapan pelatihan berupa penjelasan prinsip dasar sensor dan IOT untuk aplikasi banjir, pengenalan peralatan sensor, perangkat lunak untuk simulasi sensor dan aplikasi IOT. Tahap Supervisi-Evaluasi adalah upaya pendampingan masyarakat selama pelatihan untuk penguasaan teknis yang lebih komprehensif dan evaluasi pencapaian kompetensi peserta pelatihan serta dampak kegiatan bagi masyarakat. Tingkat kepuasan peserta atas pelaksanaan PKM ini diukur menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, tingkat kepuasaan peserta pelatihan mencapi 92,8%. Tindak lanjut yang diharapkan peserta pelatihan selaku masyarakat Tumumpa Satu adalah implementasi sistem peringatan banjir yang permanen di DAS Bailang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan informasi gereja dengan melibatkan jemaat GMIM Bukit Zaitun Sea Mitra dalam pelatihan pembuatan website profil berbasis web. Tujuan utama program ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan data gereja, serta meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan jemaat dalam menghadapi digitalisasi. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup survei awal untuk menganalisis kebutuhan mitra, desain dan pengembangan sistem menggunakan PHP, MySQL, serta CodeIgniter, diikuti dengan pelatihan teknis dan evaluasi berkala. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan rata-rata skor pemahaman sebesar 4.2 (84%) dan partisipasi pelatihan mencapai 4.5 (90%), mencerminkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari peserta. Selain itu, sistem yang diterapkan berhasil meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan keuangan gereja dengan skor 4.3 (86%) dan mempersiapkan jemaat untuk transisi ke era digital dengan nilai kesiapan sebesar 4.1 (82%). Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan website profil berbasis web merupakan langkah efektif untuk meningkatkan transparansi, pengelolaan informasi, serta kesiapan digital jemaat, seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat.

Abstract

The primary objective of modern technological advancements is to enhance efficiency in tasks and services, particularly in administrative operations and office systems. However, the integration of advanced technology, specifically in database applications and information systems, has become increasingly critical for village services. The limited technological proficiency among village officials, particularly the village secretaries, has hindered the effectiveness of population data management in Sea Dua and Sea Mitra Villages. Therefore, training in the implementation of population databases is essential for improving the performance of the local government officials in these villages. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide comprehensive training in the use of population database technology and to offer ongoing support to village staff in adopting modern technologies, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative services in Sea Dua and Sea Mitra Villages, Pineleng Subdistrict, Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

This study investigates the fabrication of granular activated carbon (AC) from biomass waste using three chemical activating agents: sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), potassium hydroxide (KOH), and zinc chloride (ZnCl₂), to evaluate their effects on structural, morphological, and electrical properties relevant to energy storage applications. An experimental laboratory-based method with a comparative activation approach was employed. The resulting activated carbon samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (SEM–EDS), and iodine adsorption and electrical measurements. XRD analysis revealed that all samples predominantly exhibit amorphous or turbostratic carbon structures with partial structural ordering, with ZnCl₂-activated samples showing higher short-range ordering than those activated with the other activators. SEM observations indicated qualitative differences in surface morphology and pore development, with more pronounced pores in the KOH-activated carbon. EDS analysis confirmed carbon-rich surfaces with minor residual inorganic elements originating from the activating agents and biomass precursor. Iodine adsorption results, used as a proxy indicator of microporosity, showed that the KOH-activated carbon exhibited the highest iodine number (630.70 mg/g). Electrical measurements, reported as apparent electrical conductivity under the applied packed-bed measurement conditions, also indicated the highest value for the KOH-activated sample (1724.10 S/m). Based on the parameters measured in this study, KOH activation produced the most favorable combined iodine adsorption and apparent electrical conductivity among the activation routes investigated. Therefore, KOH-activated biomass-derived carbon is identified as the most promising candidate for subsequent electrochemical validation toward supercapacitor electrode applications.
