Abstract

Abstract

Flavone compounds present as secondary metabolites in many plants have beneficial phytochemical activity. Isolation of flavones from various parts of plants has been widely carried out, but the synthesis pathway is another way to obtain higher yields. This research aimed to synthesize flavone compounds from vanillin and 2-hydroxyacetophenone through chalcone intermediates to produce a 74% yield using an iodide catalyst. This new flavone compound has been used as a chemosensor to detect anions

Abstract

Renggak (Amomum dealbatum Roxb) shows significant potential as a natural resource with applications in various fields, particularly in environmental sensing. This capability positions Renggak as a promising candidate for developing eco-friendly chemosensors, contributing to improved monitoring of these critical anions in the environment and health. Additionally, its diverse phytochemical profile suggests potential uses in medicinal applications, further enhancing its value as a multifaceted plant. This research focuses on the characterization of the methanol extract from Renggak (Amomum dealbatum Roxb) leaves, and it's potential to detect iodide and phosphate anions. The extraction process involved soaking dried renggak leaves in methanol for 72 hours. Afterwards, the solution was filtered and evaporated, resulting in a paste-like extract. The extract was characterized using FTIR and GC-MS techniques, followed by testing its performance as a chemosensor. The paste extract was dissolved in methanol and mixed with a saturated solution of iodide and phosphate salts for the anion detection test. Then, 3 mL of each anion solution was combined with the extract, and any changes in the solution were observed. FTIR analysis revealed the presence of OH groups and C=O double bonds in the methanol extract. GC-MS analysis identified 20 compounds, with hexadecanoic acid and 9-octadecenoic acid being the most abundant. The extract demonstrated fluorescent properties in the anion detection test, acting as a chemosensor. When exposed to a UV lamp at 250 nm, the solution emitted a green fluorescent glow, indicating the successful detection of anions. These findings suggest that the methanol extract of renggak leaves could serve as an effective fluorescent chemosensor for iodide and phosphate anions.

Abstract

Current problems often do not have certain answers. The use of fuzzy mamdani logic to determine a level of achievement of the success of the teacher in teaching students at MI Mambaul Ulum Al Amin Sampit is the content of this paper. The problem will be solved by determining the level of achievement of the teacher's success in teaching students, if only two input variables are used, namely the teacher and also the value. So the first thing to solve the problem of the level of achievement of teacher success in teaching through the fuzzy mamdani method is to determine the input and output variables of a firm set. The second thing is changing the input variables into fuzzy sets through fuzzyfication. The third thing is processing data from fuzzy sets using the maximum system. The last or fourth thing is changing the results issued into a firm set through defuzzyfication with the centroid method, so the results are as desired in the output variable. The calculation of fuzzy mamdani results in an achievement level of success for MI teachers with a teacher variable value of 55 and a variable value of 80

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using educational video media in developing anti-bullying behavior among kindergarten students at Aisyiyah Kragilan Surakarta. It seeks to determine the extent to which educational videos influence students' understanding and behavior regarding bullying. Methodology: A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving 30 children aged 5–6 years, as well as teachers and parents as participants. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation was used in data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The study found a noticeable improvement in students' understanding and behavioral change after exposure to educational video media. It revealed the negative impacts of bullying on both victims (such as physical and mental health issues and developmental disruptions) and perpetrators (including poor personality development and social rejection). The video media proved to be effective in promoting anti-bullying behavior among the children. Applications/Originality/Value: The findings underscore the importance of digital educational media in early childhood education, especially for shaping positive social behavior. This research contributes to the understanding that incorporating digital tools, like educational videos, can enhance moral development in young learners. It also emphasizes the role of adequate school facilities and infrastructure in ensuring the success of such learning programs.
