Abstract

Pada Tugas Akhir ini, penulis memperoleh kesempatan bekerja sebagai humas di PT Duta Wisata Jaya yang merupakan salah satu perusahaan tour dan travel di Sumatera Barat dan bekerja sama dengan Semen Padang Hospital dalam merancang dan melakukan program medical tourism. Program yang merupakan perpaduan antara bidang kesehatan dengan bidang pariwisata ini mempunyai potensi yang sangat besar mengingat daerah Sumatera Barat sangat kaya dengan keindahan alam sekaligus budayanya. Dalam pelaksanaan program medical tourism ini, penulis terlibat mulai dari tahap perencanaan, proses pembuatan materi promosi, proses pelaksanaan kegiatan pengambilan video promosi, proses negosiasi antara PT Duta Wisata Jaya dan Rumah Sakit Semen Padang Hospital mengenai pembagian porsi kerja masing-masing dalam program Kerjasama ini hingga terlibat dalam melakukan evaluasi setelah kegiatan dilakukan Program medical tourism ini nantinya akan menjadi daya tarik bagi layanan kesehatan yang tersedia di Rumah Sakit Semen Padang Hospital sekaligusmenjadi tambahan daya tarik wisata di Sumatera Barat. Karena dengan adanya program medical tourism ini, nantinya pasien yang dating tinggal memilih jenis layanan medis yang diinginkan berikut pilihan paket wisata yang diminati. Pasien akan mendapatkan kemudahan mulai dari proses penjemputan di bandara, proses pedaftaran untuk layanan kesehatan yang dipilih, proses check in di hotel yang sudah bekerjasama, selama proses pemeriksaan kesehatan begitu juga dengan layanan wisata yang sudah terpilih sampai kemudahan pengambilan hasil pemeriksaan. Semua hal ini sudah disusun dan direncanakan secara matang oleh tim dari PT Duta Wisata Jaya dan Rumah Sakit Semen Padang Hospital melalui serangkaian pertemuan.

Abstract

Companies today are growing and developing extremely normally, developing an increasingly diverse audience, both external and internal, requiring special treatment when communicating with them. Corporate communications activities are strategic communications that must be implemented according to the company. This comic activity involves management as a key decision-maker in the company. Through strategic communication, the company's PR can run well. PR needs to get full management support to complete the task, the purpose of this research is to describe the pent role that PR does in a company. The method used in this research is a library study that connects research with existing literature and fills gaps in previous research. The research results obtained on this research are some of the roles of a PR in a company.

Abstract

In an organization, interpersonal communication plays an important role in building effective working relationships among employees. At BPJS Kesehatan Padang Branch, the complex work dynamics demand open, empathetic, and mutually understanding communication to maintain a conducive. Work motivation plays a crucial role in determining the level of productivity and employee loyalty to the institution. This study aims to examine the relationship between interpersonal communication and employee work motivation at BPJS Kesehatan Padang Branch. Interpersonal communication is one of the key factors in creating a comfortable work environment. High work motivation is essential for employees to perform their duties optimally and contribute to achieving the organization's goals. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to 47 respondents who are active employees of BPJS Kesehatan Padang Branch. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation test to determine the relationship between variables. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal communication and employee work motivation. This is evidenced by the statistical test results showing a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant correlation. Therefore, it can be concluded that H₁ is accepted, with a correlation coefficient of 0.497, which indicates a moderate level of relationship between the variables. The better the interpersonal communication among employees, the higher their work motivation. The conclusion of this study is that interpersonal communication has a significant relationship with employee work motivation. Therefore, the institution needs to continuously encourage the establishment of open and harmonious communication in the workplace to create a more conducive work atmosphere. These findings reinforce the notion that effective and open workplace communication can enhance employee morale, loyalty, and overall performance.

Abstract

The Purpose of This Research To find out whether there is a relationship between the quality of frontliner service and visitor satisfaction at Minangkabau International Airport. In this study, a descriptive statistical research type with a quantitative approach will be used that seeks to collect and measure data in the form of numbers in managing data that will be obtained from respondents. In this study, the population is visitors who received Frontliner service at Minangkabau International Airport in June 2024, totaling 523 visitors to Minangkabau International Airport. The sample size is calculated using the Slovin formula. Sampling in this study uses the Slovin formula and is randomized to all customers of Minangkabau International Airport. So that in this study, 84 visitors to Minangkabau International Airport were used as samples of this study. So that the overall results of the study show a significant relationship between Frontliner Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction at Minangkabau International Airport. This is indicated by the results of the T test that the calculated t value is 8,640> 1,984 t Where the calculated t value is greater than the t-table. The results of the coefficient of determination test indicate that the overall relationship between Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction is strongly correlated, with an average R-squared of 47.7%. The remaining 52.3% is influenced by other variables. Therefore, this study found that Frontliner Service Quality contributes significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Padang TV's broadcasting strategy in maintaining its existence as a local television station amidst the rapid flow of media globalization and the development of digital technology. Amidst intense competition in the media industry and changes in audience behavior, local television stations such as Padang TV are required to have relevant broadcast strategies to remain popular. This study specifically analyzes how Padang TV organizes and presents its broadcast programs to maintain competitiveness and engagement with the local community. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, broadcast program observations, and broadcast archive documentation. The analysis was conducted inductively with reference to local media strategy theory. The results show that Padang TV implements various strategies, such as emphasizing local content that reflects Minangkabau culture, establishing collaborations with local governments and local communities, and optimizing social media to expand audience reach. Programs such as local news, cultural talk shows, and traditional entertainment are mainstays in strengthening local identity and maintaining audience interest. This strategy is considered quite successful in maintaining Padang TV's existence as a local media, although it still faces challenges from changing audience preferences and rapid digital developments. Therefore, continuous innovation and integration between conventional broadcasting and digital platforms are important recommendations from this study.

Abstract

This final project report aims to document the activities of the Dharma Andalas University PKM-PI Team in developing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Used Aluminium Melting Electric Furnace for UMKM's. This documentation is made as a reporting and promotional media through Instagram @pkmpi_alatpeleburaluminium by referring to Media Production Theory which includes three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Instagram was chosen as the main platform because of its interactive features like Instagram Insights that enable content performance analysis. The results of this project show that the right visual communication strategy in social media can increase audience engagement and the effectiveness of information dissemination, especially in supporting technological innovation for UMKM's.
