Abstract

Cerpen merupakan karya sastra berbentuk prosa yang berisi cerita ringkas, karena ceritanya ringkas cerpen dapat dibaca dalam waktu 15 menit saja.  Berdasarkan data yang ditemukan, dalam pembelajaran cepen peserta diidik kesulitan menentukan alur dan penokohan. Penelitian ini bertujun untuk menganalisis unsur alur dan penokohan dalam cerpen Kado Istimewa karya Suwadji, sekaligus mengetahui kebermanfaatannya sebagai alternatif bahan ajar pada peserta didik kelas XI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam analisis alur, cerpen Kado Istimewa karya Suwadji memuat orientasi, komplikasi, pencapaian konflik, puncak konflik, resolusi dan koda. Selain itu juga, memuat kaidah plausibilitas, suspen, surprise, dan kepaduan. Cerpen ini beralur  progresif, berjumlah tunggal, dan bersifat padat, dan dalam analisis penokohan, Berdasarkan peran terdapat 2 tokoh utama, 1 tokoh bawahan, 5 tokoh tambahan.  Berdasarkan fungsi penampilan, semua tokoh (8 tokoh) merupakan protagonis. Berdasarkan perwatakan, semua tokoh berwatak sederhana, dan berdasarkan berkembang atau tidaknya, semua tokoh adalah statis. Kemudian, semua tokoh dalam cerpen ini dilukiskan secara dramatik. Selanjutnya, cerpen ini dapat dijadikan sebgai alternatif pemilihan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia di kelas XI, bahan ajar yang dibuat berdasarkan pada karakter dan kelayakan bahan ajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian bukan berupa angka, melainkan narasi atau deskripsi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kumpulan cerpen Kado Istimewa karya Suwadji yang diterbitkan oleh Telaga Ilmu dan buku penunjang lainnya. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui telaah pustaka, wawancara, dokumentasi dan analisis.                 Kata Kunci: Analisis, cerpen, alur, penokohan, bahan ajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media “gambuso” dalam pembelajaran memproduksi teks eksplanasi berbasis konjungsi kronologis dan konjungsi kausalitas. Kedua konjungsi tersebut menjadi salah satu unsur penting dalam membangun struktur teks eksplanasi sebagai suatu jenis teks yang memaparkan fenomena alam maupun sosial secara rinci. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian the one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI SMK Bina Warga, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI jurusan pemasaran I. Berdasarakan penelitian ini diperoleh data sebagai berikut. (1) nilai terkecil pada prates sebesar 20; (2) nilai tertinggi pada kelas prates sebesar 60; (3) nilai rata-rata pada prates sebesar 37,78; (4) nilai terkecil pada pascates sebesar 70; (5) nilai tertinggi pada pascates sebesar 90; (6) nilai rata-rata pascates sebesar 78,63. Dilanjutkan dengan tes normalitas data. Berdasarkan tes tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa data nilai prates dan pascates berdistribusi normal. Setelai itu data diolah berdasarkan t-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

"> The research is aimed not only at the discussion on an interference ofIndonesian language into English language as shown in scientific journal abstracts butalso at the description on kinds of interference. There are 13 scientific journals that werestudied. The method applied in this research is descriptive with distributional andsimilarity analysis. The data is collected from abstracts of scientific journals during the year of 2003—2008. The results indicate that there are three kinds of interferences, namely: morphological, syntactic and semantic interferences. Morphology interferencehappens such as in verb form for the third person, plural form, and possessive. Syntactic interference includes the ill form of phrase and passive voice, paralellism, and the omission of to be and article. Semantic interference consists of addition and substitution

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students in learning to write biographical texts. This study aims to determine the ability of planning and implementing the researcher's learning; students' writing skills; and the effectiveness of the clustering method in learning to rewrite the contents of a film-based biographical text that focuses on developing ideas into descriptive texts; The research method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. The results of this study are: first, the ability of researchers to plan learning gets a score of 3.78 in the very good category, and the ability of researchers to carry out learning gets a score of 3.67 with a good category. Second, the ability of students has increased based on the Paired Samples Test which proves the value of Asymp. Signature. (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05, then Ha2 is accepted. Third, an effective grouping method is applied in learning to rewrite the contents of a film-based biographical text that focuses on developing ideas into descriptive text based on the Independent Samples Test which proves the value of Asymp. Signature. (2-tailed) of 0.020 is smaller than 0.05, then Ha3 is accepted. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that learning to rewrite the contents of a film-based biographical text using a grouping method that focused on developing ideas into descriptive texts for class X students of SMK Tamansiswa Bandung in 2020/2021 was successful.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dalam pembelajaran debat pada siswa SMAN 4 Musi Banyuasin. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data pada tuturan siswa SMAN 4 Musi dalam kegiatan debat yang menunjukkan penerapan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa video debat yang pada Youtube SMAN 4 Musi Banyuasin tahun 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah dokumentasi dan telaah pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat 29 tuturan penerapan prinsip kesantunan yang telah dianalisis. Dari keenam maksim prinsip kesantunan, ditemukan 4 penerapan maksim kearifan; 2 penerapan maksim kedermawanan; 3 penerapan maksim kerendahan hati; 13 maksim kesepakatan; dan 7 penerapan maksim simpati, sedangkan tidak ditemukannya penerapan maksim pujian dalam video debat siswa. (2) terdapat 20 tuturan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang telah dianalisis. Dari keenam maksim prinsip kesantunan, ditemukan 1 pelanggaran maksim kearifan; 4 pelanggaran maksim kedermawanan; 2 pelanggaran maksim kerendahan hati; dan 13 pelanggaran maksim kesepakatan, sedangkan pelanggaran maksim pujian dan simpati tidak ditemukan.

Abstract

Speaking skills need to be developed and learned by everyone because speaking skills are very important in communicating. Likewise in the learning process, it is necessary to practice in the form of oral communication. The problem here is the lack of students' speaking skills in discussing or presenting. Some of the factors experienced by students in speaking skills include low self-confidence, lack of mastery of the material, uncomfortable situations and conditions, and lack of language knowledge so that from some of these factors students have not been able to convey ideas, ideas or goals fluently that can be understood. by listeners. This research needs to be done to find out the realization of students' speech acts when speaking activities in news text learning. The approach used in the study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results obtained, the realization of illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts is found in speaking activities during news text learning.

Abstract

Language plays an important role in social communication between speakers and listeners. Through language, opinions, thoughts, and ideas can be easily expressed and understood by others. In communicative interactions, speech acts play a crucial role as they involve actions within the communication. However, speakers and listeners often face difficulties in understanding the context of a conversation. One important aspect of speech acts is the illocutionary meaning contained within them. Speech acts can occur in various everyday life situations, both in oral and written forms. A script of a drama is an example of a written form of speech acts, where utterances serve as the main foundation of a conversation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative research method to examine illocutionary speech acts in the context of written language, focusing on the use of language in Arifin C. Noer's drama script titled "A-A, I-I, U-U." The analysis results indicate the presence of 187 utterances containing illocutionary speech acts, with the dominance of assertive illocutionary acts comprising 90 data (48.13%), followed by directive acts (39.03%), expressive acts (8.56%), and commissive acts (4.28%). No declarative illocutionary acts were found in the script.

Abstract

Every content creator certainly has their own characteristics, one of which is seen from their attitude when speaking. A bilingual or bilingual content creator will add to his image in the eyes of his followers. Therefore, research was conducted on the analysis of Tiktokers' speech as an alternative to class IX Indonesian learning media. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of language in Tiktokers speech in response content on TikTok, as well as describe the relevance of the results of bilingual analysis of Tiktokers speech as a Indonesian learning medium in class IX. The method used in this study is using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data analyzed is in the form of bilingual Tiktokes speech sourced from the TikTok application with stitch content categories (responses). The source of data in this study is content creators (Tiktokers). Data collection in this study was carried out by opening the TikTok application, listening to TikTok videos with stitch content categories, selecting video samples, downloading selected TikTok videos, and transcribing Tiktokers' speech. The form of realization of Tiktokers bilingualism is the ability subordinative bilinguals of 3 speeches, multiple bilinguals obtaining 1 ultterances and coordinating bilingual ability of 2 utterances. The results of the bilingual analysis of Tiktokers speech on stitch content (responses) proved to be relevant to learning media, especially interactive media in the form of audio visuals. In other word, TikTok can be used as response text learning medium in class IX.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems encountered in the use of language and learning Indonesian. Indonesian is often used with many mistakes, especially in the world of education. Students often experience obstacles in understanding and using language properly and correctly. One of the language skills that students are less interested in is reading, due to the lack of awareness of the importance of reading in increasing knowledge. Another problem encountered in learning Indonesian is understanding the meaning of speech and the use of learning media. Understanding the meaning of utterances is often disturbed due to context and indirect disclosure. Meanwhile, the use of deep learning media is still lacking, especially in the use of technology. Many teachers experience obstacles in using learning media, so that student learning motivation becomes low. This study aims to understand the problems associated with language use and learning Indonesian. The results of this study are expected to provide useful insights and recommendations for educators and students in improving Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online loan advertising in recent years has become a hot topic of discussion in the community. This cannot be separated from the important role of language as a means of communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze the illocutionary speech acts contained in the online loan advertising video on YouTube entitled “Loans at Adakami are complicated or not?”. This study uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The results of the study found that in the online loan advertising there are 15 words that are illocutionary speech acts, dominated by assertive illocution as much as 9 (60%), expressive illocution as much as 3 (20%), directive illocution as much as 2 (13,33%), and commissive illocution as much as 1 (6,67%). While the directive illocution was not found.
