Abstract

This research aims to describe the expressive speech acts of criticizing in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! and its implication to the learning of anecdote text in class X SMA. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data source in this research is Gila Lu Ndro! movie. The data in this research are the utterances and their contexts that contain expressive speech acts of criticizing contained in the film Gila Lu Ndro. Data collection techniques in this research are listening, free-flowing and note-taking techniques. From this analysis, three things can be concluded: First, direct criticizing speech acts contained in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! are found as many as 20 utterances with several strategies, namely negative assessment as many as 9 utterances, defamation as many as 8 utterances, expression of opposition as many as 2 utterances, and problem statement as many as 1 utterance. Second, indirect criticizing speech acts contained in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! are found as many as 10 speech acts with several strategies, namely correction as much as 1 speech act, speech act for change 1 speech act, advice for change 3 speech acts, suggestion for change 2 speech acts, request for change 1 speech act, expression of uncertainty 1 speech act, and other instructions 1 speech act. Third, the implication of this research on the learning of anecdote text in class X SMA in KD 3.5 evaluates anecdote text from the aspect of implied meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pematuhan dan pelanggaran maksim prinsip kerja sama dalam gelar wicara Catatan Demokrasi tvOne: Ketika Presiden ‘Digelitik’ Kritik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tuturan narasumber dalam gelar wicara Catatan Demokrasi tvOne, sedangkan objeknya adalah maksim-maksim dalam prinsip kerja sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik catat. Metode simak dilaksanakan dengan menyaksikan secara langsung acara Catatan Demokrasi tvOne, sedangkan teknik catat dilakukan dengan mencatat tuturan pada wacana politik dalam gelar wicara Catatan Demokrasi tvOne yang diamati melalui aplikasi Youtube, kanal tvOneNews. Pada tututuran tersebut ditemukan pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama, yaitu maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim relevansi, dan maksim cara. Penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan kesesuainnya dengan bahan ajar teks debat di SMA.Kata Kunci: Gelar Wicara, Prinsip Kerja Sama, Debat

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur kepribadian tokoh, psikologi pengarang, unsur penokohan, unsur ekstrinsik, sampai kepada relevasinya sebagai alternatif bahan ajar apresiasi sastra pada novel Temukan Aku dalam Istikharahmu karya Adi Rustandi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, hasil dari data berupa kata-kata dan dideskripsikan secara teliti dan analisis. Sumber data pada penelitian ini ialah novel Temukan aku dalam Istikharahmu karya Adi Rustandi, wawancara dengan penulis, beberapa buku sumber, jurnal terkait, dan penelitian terdahulu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah studi kepustakaan, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini berupa struktur kepribadian tokoh dalam novel Temukan Aku dalam Istikharahmu dengan jumlah Id, Ego, dan Superego, unsur psikologi pengarang pada saat menulis karyanya, unsur penokohan berupa protagonis, antagonis, dan tritagonis, dan unsur ekstrinsik berupa latar belakang penulis, latar belakang masyarakat, sampai nilai-nilai kehidupan. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis disesuaikan dengan tuntunan Kurikulum 2013 yaitu Kompetensi Inti dan Kompetensi Dasar 3.9 Menganalisis Isi dan Kebahasaan Novel, dan dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar apresiasi sastra dalam bentuk Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Modul Pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan peserta didik kelas XII dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia mengenai materi Teks Novel.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types, functions and to find out illocutionary speech acts in President Joko Widodo's state address at the 2018-2022 MPR annual session regarding the implementation of teaching materials. Speech is an expression of thoughts in the form of words shown to the audience. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive qualitative research is research that analyzes data inductively and the results emphasize meaning. This research focuses on analyzing the speech acts conveyed by President Joko Widodo in the 2018-2022 MPR annual session. Speech acts are often said to be actions that are displayed by producing an utterance, illocutionary speech act an utterance that serves to inform something and serves to do something. Speech act is one of the elements of pragmatics involving the speaker, listener or writer, reader and what is being discussed. Speech acts are divided into three types, namely locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts. This study focuses more on illocutionary speech acts, illocutionary speech acts have five different types, namely assertive, directive, expressive, declarative and commissive. The results of the research in President Joko Widodo's State of the Union speech at the 2018-2022 MPR annual session found various types of illocutionary speech acts that differ according to the speech delivered by President Joko Widodo.

Abstract

This research discusses the issue of writing biographical texts in Indonesian language lessons. In the Merdeka Curriculum, every learning achievement requires students' writing skills. The need for biographical text writing skills does not match the conditions of class X students at SMAN 9 Bandung. Indonesian language lessons are often considered boring by students, which is due to teachers still using outdated methods and media that do not follow modern developments. This study aims to determine: the writer's ability to design, implement, and evaluate biographical text writing lessons using the MIKIR method assisted by flippity media,the students' abilities before applying the MIKIR method assisted by flippity media,the students' abilities after applying the MIKIR method assisted by flippity media, the difference in students' abilities before and after applying the MIKIR method. With using a quantitative experimental design with a quasi-experimental design, the study found: 1) the writer was able to implement biographical text writing lessons using the MIKIR method with an average score of 4. 2) the condition of students before receiving the MIKIR method and flippity media. 3) the condition of students after receiving the MIKIR method and flippity media. 4) the difference in students' abilities before and after receiving the MIKIR method.This study aims to improve the writing skills of students in Indonesian language lessons by using the MIKIR method assisted by flippity media, which is expected to enhance students' engagement and motivation in learning.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of students in writing job application letters. The reason is the lack of understanding and renewal of vocabulary so that it is difficult to pour an idea into a complete writing and the use of learning models used by educators is still monotonous. One of the learning models that can be used as an alternative in writing job application letters is the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of students in writing job application letters before and after applying the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model. The research method used is an experimental method with a Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The author compiled the research results after conducting research on students of class XI TKJ A as the experimental class and XI TKJ E as the control class. The results showed that the author was able to implement learning with the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model with a score of 3.8. The results of the experimental pretest scores with an average value of 56 and increased in the posttest results after applying the model with an average of 83. While the average value of the control pretest was 48.5 and increased with a value of 67. So there are results of differences between the experimental class and the control class. Supported by the output results on the Mann Whitney test of 0.000 <0.05, the hypothesis can be accepted. Based on the results of this study, the authors can conclude that the application of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model assisted by Canva media in learning to write job application letters for class XI students of SMK Pasundan 2 Bandung is successful.
