Abstract

Government support for increased vegetable consumption continues to be done by limiting the import of fruit and vegetable products. One type of vegetable that is widely consumed is long beans. The data analysis methods used in the study included an analysis of cobb-douglas production function estimates and cost and revenue analysis. Independent and dependent variable data includes long bean product (Y), land area (X1), Seed (X2), urea fertilizer (X3), NPK fertilizer (X4), Gandazil fertilizer (X5), pesticide (X6), and labor (X7). The results found that two (2) factors of production, namely land area and seeds, had a noticeable influence on long bean production, while the other five (5) factors had no real effect. The average profit of long bean farming in Banjar Demulih, Demulih village of Susut district of Bangli regency amounted to Rp 7,709,565 per 11.3 are per growing season, which is equivalent to Rp. 2,569,855 per 11.3 are per month. The agricultural sector development approach that is still being implemented today is agribusiness system. The people's market is part of the agribusiness system, which is included in the subsystem of supporting institutions. This subsystem provides services for upstream agro-industry subsystem, downstream agribusiness subsystem, and marketing subsystem so as to ensure smooth transactions between producers and consumers.

Abstract

The development of subak as a tourist attraction will be in line with the development of Balinese cultural tourism, considering that both are developed based on Balinese culture. This is an effort to maintain the sustainability of subak while controlling the conversion of paddy fields and supporting environmental sustainability. Today's tourists prefer to see beautiful scenery. Agrotourism is one type of tourism that utilizes agricultural business as a tourist attraction. The attraction that can be developed by combining tourism with agriculture is through the concept of agrotourism. Agrotourism is a tourism development that offers farmer activities in the fields as a tourist attraction. Not only the activities, but the use of agricultural products can also be used as agro-tourism-based tourism products. This research was conducted with the following objectives (1) How is the participation of farmers in the development of agro-tourism and (2) the factors that influence the participation of farmers on the development of agro-tourism. This research was conducted in Subak Jatiluwih, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. Abstract

Sustainable agriculture is the use of renewable and non-renewable resources for the agricultural production process by minimizing the negative impact on the environment to a minimum. Economically profitable and accountable. Farmers are able to generate profits in sufficient and stable production levels, at an acceptable level of risk. With an ecological perspective, the quality of agroecosystems is maintained or improved, by maintaining ecological balance and conserving biodiversity. Organic farming is one of the implementations of sustainable agriculture. The shift in the use of chemical inputs to organic inputs has an optimal effect on potential environmental conservation. Therefore, organic fertilizer is very potential to be developed in the agricultural business. The results showed that the internal factor is the quality of human resources in adopting integrated agriculture through the use of organic fertilizers and product quality is highly dependent on climatic factors. External factors are seen in the development of globalization with digital marketing and competition for fertilizer products on a global scale. The alternative strategy is the Strenght Opportunity Strategy, namely improving the quality of organic fertilizers, optimizing organizational management and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Land as a location for farming is the main asset managed by farmers. Land area is directly proportional to farm production. the wider the land managed, the higher the production produced. In the intercropping farming system, it shows that the land is used for the production of several commodities such as cocoa, coconut, bananas and cattle, if the commodities cultivated do not experience significant disturbances. The aim of the research is to analyze the gross income of smallholder plantation farming in Angkah Village, to analyze the allocation of agricultural resources with a cacao-coconut-banana crop intercropping system and cattle in Angkah Village. The research was conducted in Angkah Village, Selemadeg Barat District, Tabanan Regency, on an intercropping farming system. Research on optimizing resource allocation uses a linear programming approach, which is a formal mathematical technique that selects combinations and activity levels, of all feasible activities to achieve the objective function without neglecting the availability of resources, and other specified constraints. The gross income earned by farmers in Angkah Village is an average of Rp. 45,728,824 per year. This income is obtained from the intercropping system of cocoa, coconut, bananas and cattle. Farming is carried out on an average land area of 0.53 ha for cocoa. 0.071 ha for coconut land, 0.061 for banana land and 0.014 ha for cattle. The optimal income is 69,800,035. The amount of agricultural resource allocation with an intercropping system of cacao-coconut-banana crops and cattle in Angkah Village is 1,042 HOK. Changes in commodity prices cause changes in commodity income in the intercropping system in Angkah Village.
