Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran video scribe pada materi Negara-Negara ASEAN di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Tualang. Peneltitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental designs (nondesigns). Populasinya adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Tualang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VIII-B. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan berganda. Analisis paired sample t test didapat nilai rata-rata pretest hasil belajar siswa sebesar 60,67 dan nilai posttest 79,60. Artinya terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media video scribe. Dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji paired sampel korelasi dengan jumlah sampel 30 siswa sebesar 0,593 atau 59,3%. hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media video scribe mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Tualang pada materi Negara-Negara ASEAN dibanding dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video scribe terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Padang Tualang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa melalui media penilaian online quizizz dan google form pada materi persamaan kuadrat kelas X IPA di MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA MAS Amaliyah Sunggal yang berjumlah 106 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah kelas X IPA 1 dan X IPA 2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 35 orang untuk dijadikan kelas eksperimen  yang  ditentukan  dengan cara cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar matematika berbentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 10 soal yang diterapkan pada saat post test. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t test. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media penilaian online quizizz dan google form pada materi persamaan kuadrat kelas X IPA di MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Kata kunci : Hasil belajar; media penilaian quizizz; media penilaian google form.   Abstract      This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes through online assessment media quizzz and google form on the quadratic equation material for class X science at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. This research is a quantitative research, with the type of experimental research. The population is all students of class X IPA MAS Amaliyah Sunggal, totaling 106 students. The sample used by the researcher was class X IPA 1 and X IPA 2, each of which amounted to 35 people to be used as an experimental class which was determined by cluster random sampling. The data collection technique uses a test of mathematics learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice as many as 10 questions which are applied at the time of the post test. Data analysis was carried out using the independent sample t test. The research findings show that there are differences in student learning outcomes using the online assessment media quizzz and google form on the quadratic equation material of class X science at MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran cooperative script dan metode pembelajaran peer teaching di kelas VIII SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 240 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-6 dan kelas dan Kelas VIII-7 yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa, untuk dijadikan kelas eksperimen ditentukan dengan cara cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes berbentuk uraian. Analisis uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji independent sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran cooperative script dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 47,33333 dan dengan yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran peer teaching dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 47,6667, dengan nilai thitung > ttabel  yaitu: - 0,0394737618 > -2,009 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the difference between mathematical communication skills using cooperative script learning methods and peer teaching learning methods in class VIII SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A 2021/2022. This research is a quantitative research, with the type of experimental research. The population is all seventh grade students of SMP PAB 2 Helvetia T.A 2021/2022, totaling 240 students. The sample used in this study was class VIII-6 and class and class VIII-7, each of which amounted to 30 students, to be used as an experimental class determined by cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used test questions in the form of descriptions. Hypothesis test analysis was performed using theindependent sample T-test. The results showed 1) there were differences in students' mathematical communication skills using the cooperative script learning method with an average score of 47.33333 and those using the peer teaching learning method with an average score of 47.6667, with tcount > ttable, namely : - 0.0394737618 > -2.009 then H0 isrejected and Ha is accepted. 2)

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dimana populasinya adalah seluh kelas XI MIA MAS PAB 2 Helvetia T.P 2020/2021. Sempel yang digunakan  terdiri dari dua kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling Purposive Sampling.Teknik yang tepat untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan berpikir keritis adalah melalui tes berbentuk uraian. Sedangkan u ntuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel menggunakan analisis Regresi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) dan Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah di kelas XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, dengan  Fhitung    (12,944) > Ftabel (3,30). (2)Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) dan Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan Berpikir Keritis siswa di kelas XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, dengan  Fhitung    (11, 383) > Ftabel (3,30 ). (3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Means Ends Analysis (MEA) dan Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan berpikir keritis di kelas XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, dengan  Fhitung    (46,411) > Ftabel (3,99).Simpulan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bahwa kemempuan pemecahan masalah dan kemempuan berpikir keritis siswa yang diajar dengan model Means Ends Analysis (MEA) dan Missouri Mathematic Project (MMP) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. ABSTRACT This study is a quantitative study, where the population is all class XI MIA MAS PAB 2 helvetia T.P 2020/2021. The sample used consisted of two classes determined by purposive sampling technique. The right technique to collect data on problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills was through a test in the form of a description. Meanwhile, to determine the effect between variables using regression analysis. The findings show (1) There is an effect of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) and Missouri Mathematical Project (MMP) learning models on problem solving abilities in class XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, with Fcount (12.944) > Ftable (3.30). (2) There is an effect of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) and Missouri Mathematical Project (MMP) learning models on the Critical Thinking ability of students in class XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, with Fcount (11, 383) > Ftable (3,30). (3) There is an effect of the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) and Missouri Mathematical Project (MMP) learning models on problem solving skills and critical thinking skills in class XI MAS PAB 2 Helvetia, with Fcount (46.411) > Ftable (3.99). Conclusion This research is to explain that the problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills of students who are taught with the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) and Missouri Mathematical Project (MMP) models have a significant effect.

Abstract

The rapid technological development in the Society 5.0 era has brought about a transformation in digital political participation in Indonesia as well as changes in student political participation patterns. Students, as a young intellectual group, have their own unique ways of using social media for political participation. The purpose of this research is to understand the role of social media in student political participation in the Society 5.0 era. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In the data collection process, this research uses interview and documentation techniques involving 15 students who are engaged in intracampus organizations and students who actively use social media. To test data validity, this study uses a credibility test through source triangulation. The research findings show that Instagram and TikTok social media platforms are widely used for accessing political information. These social media platforms play an important role in shaping students' political awareness. In the Society 5.0 era, forms of student political participation through social media include engagement in online discussions, sharing political posts, and promoting hashtags related to political issues. The challenges of digital political participation include the prevalence of hoax news, buzzers, low literacy levels, and political polarization or conflicting viewpoints that become obstacles in utilizing social media as a space for student political participation.

Abstract

The research developed a contextual learning model for Islamic values-based civic education. The research tested the validity, development of religious attitudes, and measured the model's effectiveness on learning outcomes. The research used an ERD by adopting Plomp. The research presented the product research results in the form of a contextual learning model book based on Islamic values for civic education as a learning aid to implement the learning model. The ERD covered 12 MIN in Medan City. The instruments used in this research were: (1) model validation sheet; (2) observation sheet; and (3) learning outcome test. The ERD showed that the contextual learning model book for Islamic values-based civic education was declared valid with an average score of 3.26 for each aspect and was suitable for testing in large groups. Meanwhile, after testing its feasibility, it was necessary to test the contextual learning model for Islamic values-based civic education in fostering students' religious attitudes with an average of 3.27. Meanwhile, the model's effectiveness showed a moderate category with an N-Gain value of 0.55 on student learning outcomes. ERD shows that contextual learning based on Islamic values can be developed, fostering students' religious attitudes and effectively improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines the tolerance shown by teenagers towards religious and cultural differences in the city of Pematang Siantar. In social relations, understanding tolerance is an important key to creating harmonious relationships between individuals from different backgrounds. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research method is observation, interviews, and documentation. This research aims to examine and explore more deeply the tolerance attitudes that teenagers must adopt in responding to religious and cultural differences that exist in the city of Pematang Siantar. The results of this research show that teenagers in Pematang Siantar have a positive attitude of tolerance towards religious and cultural differences with indications of awareness of the importance of social harmony. However, several challenges must be overcome, such as the lack of deep understanding among teenagers regarding pluralism and the existence of differences of opinion that are still developing among teenagers. So it is hoped that this research can provide more effective insight to increase the tolerant attitude of teenagers, especially in responding to existing religious and cultural differences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of early marriage on stunting growth rates in Kelurahan Terjun, Medan Marelan District. The research method used is an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional research design. From the results of this study, further research is still needed to overcome and prevent stunting events at the Waterfall Health Center, Medan Marelan District in order to create a stunting prevention program from its risk factors.

Abstract

General background: In the digital era, the rapid development of technology and internet access has transformed how individuals engage with information and democratic processes. Specific background: Among digital natives, especially university students, digital platforms are a primary medium for political engagement. Knowledge gap: Previous research has generally overlooked the specific relationship between digital literacy competence and democratic literacy in the context of local elections and political participation among Generation Z. Aims: This study investigates the role of digital literacy in shaping democratic literacy among students of the Tadris IPS Program at UIN Sumatera Utara, particularly in relation to the 2024 gubernatorial election. Results: Findings indicate that students demonstrate fundamental digital literacy skills, moderate democratic awareness, and varied perceptions of Bobby Nasution’s election victory, influenced by digital media exposure. Novelty: This research provides a qualitative exploration of how digital natives interpret political events through digital literacy lenses, emphasizing the local context and students’ experiential insights. Implications: The study underscores the need for integrated digital-democratic literacy curricula in higher education to foster critical, informed, and participatory citizens in democratic societies.Highlight : The study highlights how digital literacy skills influence students’ ability to filter and critically assess political information. Students’ perception of political events, such as Bobby Nasution’s election, is shaped by exposure to social media. Integration of digital and democracy education is essential to foster critical thinking and civic engagement in digital natives. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan hidden curriculum dalam pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi dan kerjasama dalam pelajaran PPKn di UPT SMPN 6 Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang penerapan hidden curriculum dalam pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi dan kerjasama dalam pelajaran PPKn di SMPN 6 Percut Sei Tuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapaun informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru PPKn, Siswa kelas VII, guru konseling dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hidden curriculum dalam pembelajaran PPKn di SMPN 6 Percut sudah sesuai dengan tujuan PPKn, yaitu membentuk anak bangsa yang berkarakter sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Implementasi hidden curriculum di sekolah ini telah berlangsung dengan baik, terutama dalam penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi dan kerja sama melalui pembelajaran PPKn, yang telah diterima dengan baik oleh siswa. Hal ini tercermin dari tidak adanya diskriminasi dan interaksi yang akrab serta sopan antara siswa dan guru. Terdapat faktor kontekstual yang mempengaruhi penerapan hidden curriculum, seperti budaya sekolah, aturan, kebiasaan, media dan teknologi, serta lingkungan sosial yang beragam dalam hal ras, suku, dan agama, yang memiliki dampak signifikan. Hambatan dalam penerapannya terutama terkait dengan pola pikir siswa yang beragam, yang membuat guru kesulitan untuk memahami setiap siswa secara individual. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk mengatasi hambatan ini agar penerapan hidden curriculum dapat mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal.
