Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is all students who are potential subjects. Sampling was carried out using the purpose sampling method. The research instrument is a questionnaire that is distributed online to respondents who meet the criteria that have been determined. this study aims to (1) Identify the influence between the views of students on investment fraud with their mental condition (2) analyze the views of students related to the risks and losses of investment fraud. This study shows that although theoretically bulging investments can have a negative impact on mental health, such as stress, anxiety, and feelings of insecurity, the results of data analysis did not find a significant relationship between the experience of bulging investments and students ' mental health conditions. The relationships found were negative but very weak and not statistically significant. This indicates that the impact of student mental health may be influenced by other factors beyond the experience of bulging investments.

Abstract

Digital storytelling has been utilized as a method to help students improve their speaking abilities. This research is conducted to explore the use of Digital Story Telling method to help teaching and learning process in English department students of Mulawarman University to develop their ability to speak English. This study used a descriptive qualitative design to analyze the data. The subjects of the study were three students of English Teaching and Learning faculty Academic year 2019. The instrument used in this study were their English speaking score as documents and interview questions. The result showed that using digital story telling made students learn through various ways of learning by using all creative skills they have which was interesting and useful. Digital storytelling affecting both of the students’ hard skill and soft skill. Students were also motivated to improve the vocabularies and pronunciation of English speaking skill they have already possessed.

Abstract

Stunting adalah permasalahan kesehatan yang terjadi pada anak-anak dan balita dimana masa pertumbuhan yang terlambat sebagai akibat kurang terpenuhinya gizi dan nutrisi selama masa pertumbuhan janin atau di masa balita. Stunting telah menjadi perhatian pemerintah karena menyerang generasi muda bangsa. Penyebab stunting seperti makanan, lingkungan dan wawasan ibu hamil menjadi persoalan utama yang harus dikendalikan. Terlebih mitos seputar makanan bagi ibu hamil masih banyak dijumpai di berbagai daerah yang justru tidak terbukti secara ilmiah. Percaya akan mitos yang dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pemeuhan nutrisi bagi ibu hamil dapat berpengaruh langsung bagi perkembangan janin. Maka dari itu, upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian stunting perlu dilakukan dari berbagai pihak termasuk pemerintah desa. Melalui posyandu, stunting dapat diminimalisir dan ibu hamil dapat dikontrol terkait pemenuhan gizi dan nutrisi selama masa kehamilan. Pengabdian dilakukan di Desa Sukamenak, Kecamatan Sukaresik dengan melakukan diskusi dan penyebaran pamphlet dengan sasarannya adalah ibu PKK Posyandu sebagai garda terdepan pencegahan dan pengendalian stunting di Desa Sukamenak. Dampak yang diharapkan adalah pengabdian ini dapat memberikan manfaat seputar pengetahuan tentang apa yang baik dan tidak bagi masa kehamilan serta mengurangi rasa khawatir akan mitos tertentu yang dapat berpengaruh pada tumbuh kembang janin, dan mencegah terjadinya stunting.

Abstract

This study is aimed at describing kiai’s leadership behaviors and identifying the educational system organized by Pesantren Shuffah Hizbullah Al-Fatah in Cileungsi Bogor. This is a qualitative study with three techniques of data collection that are observation, interview, and document study. The results of the study show that revivalist Kiai can be generally defined as a model of pesantren leadership which is not only to foster students’ personality but also to form the cadres of new Islamic generation who have the commitment to upholding Islamic values in daily life. The leadership conception of revivalist Kiai is in line with the role model implemented by Rasulullah SAW during his leadership in Madinah. The existence of Pesantren Shuffah Hizbullah Al-Fatah is the transformation of the pesantren model which has been developed for centuries on Java Island. The educational model in Shuffah Hizbullah Al-Fatah is a combination of formal, nonformal, and informal educational models that is community-based with the mosque as the central. This pesantren has a special characteristic that is successful in involving various components of Muslim communities to become the students.
