However, in this period, children have not completely acquired adults’ linguistic structures. Thus, it is that estimated there are some differences between children’s hilarious expression structural dislosure and adults’. In addition, hilarious expression structural incompleteness may result in adults’ error perceptions on what the children mean. Based on data analysis, it is shown that children at the age of 3-5 years old have already aquired various linguistic aspects on hilarious expressions, including phonological, morphological, and syntactical aspects. one factor encouraging children to show their hilarious expressions is achievement, such as when accepted as a friend, given a gift/surprise, finding something, and feeling capable of doing something.

Abstract

The research results of Melasarianti & Nurhayani (2020) revealed that high school secondary level teachers in the Banyumas Regency area still have low knowledge of experimental research methods. This is proven by the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, teachers are looking for learning innovations to solve problems in teaching and learning activities in the classroom, still using the classroom action research (PTK) method. The low level of teacher knowledge regarding these types of research methods is also experienced by the teachers of SMK N 1 Purwokerto. Evidently, from the results obtained by Melasarianti & Nurhayani (2020) research respondents, as many as 30% came from SMK N 1 Purwokerto, revealing the importance of research methods, especially experimental research, to seek innovation in the learning process. Based on these problems, this activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of SMK N 1 Purwokerto teachers regarding experimental research methods. The implementation of this activity uses seminar presentation methods, discussions, training and mentoring. Some of the results of this activity are: 1) increasing the knowledge and information of SMK N 1 Purwokerto teachers regarding experimental research methods, 2) increasing the abilities and skills of SMK N1 Purwokerto teachers in compiling titles and formulating problems in experimental research.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have changed the way teenagers communicate, particularly on online gaming platforms like Roblox. This platform has become a platform for the development of slang, a variation of informal language used for quick and efficient communication during gameplay. Slang in online games takes various forms and continues to evolve in response to changing communication needs and trends. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of slang found in the game "Indo Camp" on Roblox. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected in the form of speech that contains slang. Data were collected through free listening, screen recording, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis employed the matching method, utilizing sorting techniques, determining elements, and comparing and equating methods. The results show the presence of five forms of slang: abbreviations, humorous mispronunciations, shortenings, interjections, and adaptations from foreign languages. Abbreviations dominate, with 12 data points, and interjections are the least common, with 3 data points found out of a total of 31. Slang in online games is temporal, limited, and continues to evolve in response to digital developments and the changing communication needs of teenagers. Online gaming platforms serve as a platform for innovation for teenagers to create and disseminate new terms. This phenomenon also demonstrates adolescent communication patterns in the digital age, demonstrating the linguistic creativity of the younger generation.
