Abstract

Muhammadiyah has experienced a reality that forces it to adapt to the challenges and pressures of the dynamics of social life. This research examines the dialectics of the Islam-based Muhammadiyah organization in the context of local culture in order to face challenges and make social adaptations. The main problem is the interaction between the Muhammadiyah organization and the dynamic socio-cultural environment. A qualitative approach was used with in-depth interviews and participatory observation as data collection techniques. The sample consisted of Muhammadiyah members and local community leaders. The results showed that Muhammadiyah faced various social challenges and successfully adapted to changes in the local community by integrating religious values with local culture. The relevant and inclusive adaptation strategies employed by Muhammadiyah reflect a dynamic response to changing social dynamics, allowing them to remain relevant and connected to local communities in a diverse cultural context. The implications of this study discuss the importance of a deeper understanding of the complexity of Muhammadiyah social adaptation in understanding local community dynamics and encourage further research and relevant interventions in this area.

Abstract

A sustainable employee competency development strategy is crucial for improving organizational performance, particularly in the public service sector, such as PT PLN (Persero). This research is motivated by the lack of a structured employee competency development system at the Lakawan Enrekang ULP as part of continuous learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implemented strategy and identify the forms of learning that develop in the workplace, both formal and informal. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that formal training at the Lakawan ULP remains top-down and less relevant to actual employee needs. However, informal learning develops naturally through mentoring practices, technical discussions, and case reflections in the field. This learning has proven to be more adaptive and contextual, although it has not yet been institutionalized in the official HR development strategy. This research provides theoretical benefits in strengthening understanding of the importance of continuous learning in the workplace, and practical benefits as input for formulating locally context-based competency development policies at PT PLN (Persero).

Abstract

Peranan Musyrifah Dalam Pembinaan Kemandirian Santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Falah Enrekang, dibimbing oleh Baharuddin dan Putriyani. Pondok pesantren adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki keistimewaan karena di sana biasanya siswa dididik untuk hidup secara mandiri dan jauh dari orangtua oleh musyrifah, sehingga peran musyrifah sangat penting dalam pembinaan karaker para santri selama berada di pesantren. Musyrifah akan menjadi fasilitator, pengelola, demonstrator, pembimbing dan motivator para santri. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran Musyrifah dalam membiasakan Kemandirian Santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Falah Enrekang dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat Musyrifah dalam membiasakan Kemandirian Santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Falah Enrekang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pesantren Modern Darul Falah Enrekang dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara secara langsung, dapat disimpulkan bahwa berbagai upaya yang dapat dilakukan pihak pesantren dalam membiasakan kemandirian santriwati ialah dengan memberikan peringatan berupa pemanggilan orang tua oleh guru BK dan apabila tidak ada efek jera maka siswa tersebut dikeluarkan dari pesantren. Dalam prosesnya pasti ada faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat siswa dalam membiasakan kemandirian selama berada di pesantren.
