Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika sosial kelompok tani Bawang Merah di Desa Perangian Kecamatan Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian sosial budaya dengan tipe kualitatif deskriptif dimana penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran nyata, dan penjelasan tentang dinamika sosial kelompok petani Bawang Merah. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini responden di pilih langsung oleh peneliti melalui teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 10 orang wakil dari anggota kelompok tani yang menjadi informan di Desa Perangian Kecamatan Baraka Kabupaten Enrekang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terbentuknya kelompok tani di awali dengan adanya persepsi atau pandangan yang sama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan. Dalam kelompok terjalin kerjasama antara sesama petani dalam mengahadapi permasalahan seperti pemenuhan kebutuhan sarana produksi dan hasil panen dalam bidang pertanian, sehingga dengan adanya kerja sama secara berkelompok berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah produksi yang baik. Terjadinya dinamika sosial kelompok petani dikarenakan karena adanya kepentingan bersama yang dapat mendorong sekelompok orang untuk membentuk sebuah kelompok dimana mereka bekerja sama dengan tekun, bersaing secara sehat untuk memperoleh hasil yang baik dalam bidang pertanian Bawang Merah.

Abstract

The era of globalization and technological advancement has driven the growth of the automotive sector as one of the strategic pillars in meeting mobility needs and improving the community's economy. The high interest of the Enrekang community in private vehicles creates opportunities as well as challenges in the form of the need for competent automotive workers. Responding to this challenge, BAZNAS Enrekang organizes an automotive training program based on community empowerment by integrating Islamic values ​​and a holistic approach. This study aims to analyze the monitoring and evaluation strategies implemented by BAZNAS towards automotive training alumni. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that monitoring strategies, such as direct visits, online communication and periodic reporting, have a positive impact on supporting the sustainability of alumni skills. Alumni who received intensive assistance succeeded in developing independent businesses, although challenges such as limited resources, geographical constraints and lack of technological innovation are still obstacles. Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial competence of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) through a practical learning experience. The program focused on addressing the low interest in entrepreneurship among Indonesian students by providing real-world into business operations. A participatory active method was employed, involving 91 students from three study programs. The program included: 1) students were involved in setting objectives and preparing materials for the visit, 2) an industrial visit to Bachis Pinrang, a successful home-based banana chips produvtion house, where students observed the production process, interviewed the owner, and engaged in discussions, 3) gathering feedback from students to assess the program’s effectiveness. The industrial visit provided students with valuable practical experience and a deeper understanding of business management. It also exposed them to a successful entrepreneurial model, inspiring them to consider entrepreneurship as a career path. Preliminary findings indicate an increase in student’s motivation and practical skills related to entrepreneurship. Further evaluation will be conducted to measure the program’s impact on student’s entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Abstract

Productive age unemployment is a social problem that has a direct impact on community welfare and regional economic growth. In Enrekang Regency, the increase in unemployment rates from year to year shows that the efforts to overcome it have not been optimal, especially for people who are not absorbed in the formal workforce. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of make-up training as a community empowerment strategy in reducing productive age unemployment. This study is also expected to provide alternative solutions based on non-formal education that are in accordance with local potential. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that make-up training had a positive impact on improving participants' skills, building motivation for entrepreneurship, and giving rise to the initiative to open make-up services independently. Participants showed high enthusiasm in the learning process and some began to practice their skills in the community. This training has been proven to not only improve technical skills, but also shape entrepreneurial mindsets and economic independence. Therefore, skills training based on local potential such as make-up can be an effective and sustainable alternative solution in overcoming productive age unemployment in the region.

Abstract

A sustainable employee competency development strategy is crucial for improving organizational performance, particularly in the public service sector, such as PT PLN (Persero). This research is motivated by the lack of a structured employee competency development system at the Lakawan Enrekang ULP as part of continuous learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implemented strategy and identify the forms of learning that develop in the workplace, both formal and informal. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that formal training at the Lakawan ULP remains top-down and less relevant to actual employee needs. However, informal learning develops naturally through mentoring practices, technical discussions, and case reflections in the field. This learning has proven to be more adaptive and contextual, although it has not yet been institutionalized in the official HR development strategy. This research provides theoretical benefits in strengthening understanding of the importance of continuous learning in the workplace, and practical benefits as input for formulating locally context-based competency development policies at PT PLN (Persero).

Abstract

Premarital guidance is a strategic effort to prepare prospective couples to build a harmonious household. This study was conducted to describe the strategy of premarital guidance as a medium for family education and empowerment at the KUA (Religious Affairs Office) in Bungin District. The purpose of this study was to identify the approaches used in implementing premarital guidance and its effectiveness in improving emotional, spiritual, and social readiness. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a field study type. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of the head of the KUA, religious instructors, and prospective couples. The research instrument was the researcher herself, supported by interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document study. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while data validity was obtained through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the strategy used is participatory, refers to the principles of andragogy, and integrates local cultural values. This guidance plays an important role in non-formal education that can empower families, although it still requires institutional strengthening and an evaluation system.

Abstract

       Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani perempuan mengenai Teknologi Biokonversi Trichokompos dari Limbah Jagung. Langkah-langkah yang diambil meliputi: 1) Persiapan dan Observasi, 2) Sosialisasi Pengenalan Teknologi, 3) Pelatihan Perbanyakan Trichoderma, 4) Aplikasi Praktis Pembuatan Pupuk Biotricho dari Limbah Jagung, 5) Pemantauan dan Evaluasi Program. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan meliputi kuisioner pre-test dan post-test, serta pengamatan langsung terhadap proses pengenalan teknologi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Hasil dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani perempuan mengenai penggunaan teknologi berbasis biotricho dengan memanfaatkan mikroba Trichoderma. Mitra juga mengalami peningkatan dalam kemampuan mereka untuk mengelola produk Biotricho secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan, serta meningkatkan pendapatan mereka
