Abstract

Language development is an indicator of a child's cognitive development, and delays in this have an impact on various functions in their life. Communication between parents and children will be an important stimulus in children's language development. Communication patterns in the family describe the family's tendency to develop fairly consistent and predictable ways of communicating with each other. This patterns have two dimensions, which is conversation orientation and conformity orientation. Errors in parental communication can have an impact on the achievement and quality of development of children's language skills. Children may reach language benchmarks and construct sentences at appropriate levels, but unable or less able to discuss things with other children or with adults. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of family communication patterns on the language development of children aged 4-6 years. The research was conducted with 50 respondents using the Language Development Scale instrument adapted from the Denver Developmental Screening Test II to measure children's language development, and using the Revised Family Communication Patterns Parent's Version to measure family communication patterns. The research results showed that there was an influence of family communication patterns on the language development of children aged 4-6 years (p=0.000) of 23.4% (R Square=0.234).

Abstract

Altruism is a fairly abstract and complex concept to understand and explain to children. Early childhood tends to see things from their own perspective and selfishness, therefore, they requires training and examples to form altruistic behavior. One of the factors that influence altruism is religiosity. Religiosity is behavior which includes various dimensions that not only occur when individuals worship, but also when carrying out other activities that are driven by supernatural powers. Religious parents can be a model for children in cultivating altruistic behavior. When parents behave according to their religious teachings, which include altruistic behavior, then children will get role models and also practice to foster this altruistic behavior in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental religiosity on altruistic behavior in early childhood. There 42 subjects in this research. The instrument used is the Child Altruism Inventory (CAI) to measure the tendency of children's altruistic behavior, as well as using The Centrality of Religious Scale (CRS) to measure parental religiosity. The results showed that there was no influence of parental religiosity on early childhood altruism (p=0.314).  Altruisme merupakan konsep yang cukup abstrak dan cukup kompleks untuk dipahami dan dijelaskan pada anak. Anak usia dini cenderung melihat suatu hal dari sudut pandangnya sendiri dan mementingkan diri sendiri. Oleh karena itu, maka anak usia dini membutuhkan latihan dan teladan untuk membentuk perilaku altruisme. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi altruisme adalah religiusitas. Religiusitas adalah keberagamaan yang meliputi berbagai macam dimensi yang bukan hanya terjadi ketika individu beribadah, tetapi juga ketika melakukan aktivitas lain yang didorong oleh kekuatan supranatural. Orangtua yang religius dapat menjadi model bagi anak dalam menumbuhkan perilaku altruisme. Saat orangtua berperilaku sesuai dengan ajaran agamanya, yang didalamnya termasuk perilaku altruisme, maka anak akan mendapatkan teladan dan juga latihan untuk menumbuhkan perilaku altruisme tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh religiusitas orangtua terhadap perilaku altruisme anak usia dini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 42 responden, yaitu orangtua yang memiliki anak berusia 4-6 tahun dan berada dalam status pernikahan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Child Altruisme Inventory (CAI) untuk mengukur kecenderungan perilaku altruisme anak, serta menggunakan The Centrality of Religious Scale (CRS) untuk mengukur religiusitas orang tua. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh religiusitas orang tua terhadap perilaku altruisme anak usia dini (p=0,314).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between selfregulated learning and adjustment to somatization in final year students at the Islamic University "45" Bekasi. This research uses quantitative. The subjects in this study were final year students at the Islamic University "45" Bekasi, totaling 88 students. This study uses a self- regulated learning scale with a Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.850, an adjustment scale with a Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.894, and a somatization scale with a Cronbach Alpha reliability value of 0.963. The data analysis technique used descriptive technique, assumption test (normality test and linearity test) and hypothesis test (Spearman Rho test and Simple Linear Regression). The results of this study indicate that there is a negative relationship between self- regulated learning and somatization, the correlation coefficient value is -0.267. And there is a negative relationship between self-adjustment and somatization, the correlation coefficient value is -0.254. While the results of a simple linear regression test between selfregulated learning have an influence on somatization, the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.048. And self-adjustment has an effect on somatization, the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.069

Abstract

Prisons have many problems, raising curiosity to explore further the ways of inmates in adapting and socializing. Inmates who are in prisons tend to be able to experience psychological pressure where they are separated from their families, have difficulty taking control of themselves, lose their models, which makes these psychological problems arise. The inmates hope to be accepted by the community. The problem of Lapas Kelas II prison partners is the lack of educators who have the competence to provide education and training to inmates whose prison sentences are almost complete in order to reduce their anxiety when they re-enter the community. The coaching results showed that the behavior change and the improvement of the participants' communication asertive behavior varied greatly. This can be seen in succession of the highest to low scores related to the level of communication skills. Andikpas experienced the most significant behavioral changes in treatment using coaching techniques.
