Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the financial and non-financial viability of Mr. M. Sanif's tempe home industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a descriptive study that employed a qualitative approach. Observation, interviewing, and documentation were used for data collection. The results show that the financial aspect has a total production cost of Rp. 235.873.000 with a net profit of Rp. 167.327.000. On a non�financial level, it operates without a business license; marketing is conducted in the SMEP market through direct sales to consumers; environmental concerns regarding liquid waste management are addressed through the construction of water channels; and solid waste is used as animal feed. On a technical level, the production location is close to the location of theraw materials and sales, themanagement and human resources management divisions have two employees, and regarding social and economic aspects,this industry gives benefit by employingpeople of the surrounding community. The BEP price of rectangular tempe is Rp. 964 with a BEP quantity of 231 pieces, the BEP price of long tempe is Rp. 963 with a BEP quantity of 212 pieces, the R/C Ratio is 1.71, the B/C Ratio is 0.71, the ROI is 65%, the NPV is Rp 534.261.783 and the PI is 3,07%. Thus, the value obtained exceeds the standard eligibility criteria, indicating that Mr. M. Sanif's tempe home industry is feasible. Keywords: Feasibility

Abstract

The importance of teaching reading, counting and writing skills from an early age. Learning from an early age, to help Timpah village children develop good habits that they can maintain even when things get difficult. The Basama learning corner literacy movement can bring change. Focus on teaching reading, counting and writing skills to students and teaching them reading, counting and writing skills. This article explains the Realization of Learning Corner Facilities to Increase the Prospects of Early Childhood Literacy Awareness in Timpah Village. In implementing the service that we have carried out, the methodology used is Sisdamas or Community Empowerment Based. The results of this research show that mentoring has a positive impact on improving the reading, writing and arithmetic abilities of Timpah Village children. With the activities held by IAIN Palangkaraya KKN students, as a driving force in the Learning Corner held by Timpah Village. Such as teaching reading, writing, arithmetic (calistung) activities, with this, the people of Timpah Village, especially children, are more interested in learning and experiencing good improvements in terms of reading, writing and arithmetic (calistung). Based on the activities carried out by the group of 69 Real Work Lectures (KKN) at the Palangka Raya State Islamic Institute (IAIN) in Timpah Village, it can be concluded that the program to provide Basama Learning Corner facilities to increase literacy for children in Timpah Village is running. smoothly. This activity has a significant impact on the literacy skills of children in Timpah Village.

Abstract

Shallot peel waste contains acetogenin, saponin, and squamocin compounds which can be used as botanical pesticides. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of shallot peel pesticides on the mortality of Aphis gossypii. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The research data were analyzed using Analysis of Variances (ANOVA) and then continued with the Duncan’s test. The testing phase for pests by preparing 5 concentrations of the extract 0 ppm, 125 ppm, 250 ppm, 500 ppm, and 1,000 ppm. Based on the observations, it was obtained that data at a concentration of 0 ppm did not affect mortality, at a concentration of 125 ppm it had an effect of 47%, at a concentration of 250 ppm it had an effect of 67%, at a concentration of 500 ppm it had an effect of 93%, and at a concentration of 1,000 ppm it had an effect of 100%. Thus, 1,000 ppm is the concentration that has the most influence on the mortality of A. gossypii.  Keywords:  shallot peel extract,  botanical pesticides, A. gossypii

Abstract

To reduce pollution caused by fuel spills during the refueling process, this research designs and implements an automatic fuel filling device on a wooden boat with a capacity of 6 GT. This system consists of the JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor unit, an automatic pump, Neopixel-based LED visual indicators, and a microcontroller as the control center. This tool is designed to automate the fuel transfer process from the dock tank to the ship's tank without the need for manual intervention, thereby increasing operational efficiency and safety. Laboratory tests show that the system has high accuracy, with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value of 0.30 cm, equivalent to an accuracy level of 99.39% in measuring the fuel surface height. In field tests on the Sungai Ungar–Batam route, this device was able to fill 75.76 liters of fuel in 9 minutes and 29.15 liters in 3 minutes automatically. The system is capable of detecting fuel levels, activating the pump when needed, and providing real-time visual notifications. The system's performance is affected by turbulence in the tank when the ship is moving, which reduces the stability of the sensor readings. Therefore, the use of sensors that are more resistant to dynamic conditions and the expansion of testing on larger capacity ships will be the next direction for development.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on improving physical endurance performance and reducing the risk of injury in football players. This study utilizes a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach involving 20 football players aged 18 to 25. Resistance performance is measured through VO₂ Max, while injury risk is assessed using body functional tests that evaluate muscle imbalances and biomechanical weakness. After undergoing the HIIT program for 8 weeks, the results showed a significant improvement in the players' VO₂ Max from an average of 61.87 ± 6.03 ml/kg/min to 63.60 ± 6.03 ml/kg/min, with an increase of 2.8% (p < 0.05). In addition, the risk of injury also decreased from an average of 4.11 ± 0.86 to 4.07 ± 0.86, with a decrease of 1.1% which was also statistically significant (p < 0.05). The increase in VO₂ Max reflects the increase in the player's cardiovascular endurance, which is crucial for dealing with the physical demands of a football match. The research also reveals that the reduced risk of injury suggests that HIIT effectively improves muscle stability, flexibility, and balance, which are important in preventing muscle and joint injuries in football players. In conclusion, HIIT is an efficient and effective training method to improve physical performance and reduce the risk of injury, so it is recommended to be applied in the training program of football players

Abstract

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik yang meningkat di Makassar dan wilayah sekitarnya, pemerintah fokus pada pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik berbahan gas (PLTG). Gas alam adalah fluida kerja PLTG ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman tentang proses produksi dan pengoperasian PLTG, menghitung jumlah energi yang dihasilkan oleh turbin gas, dan mengetahui jenis interferensi dan prinsip kerja sistem perlindungan kelistrikan yang digunakan pada PLTG. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan di Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas pada unit produksi di Makassar. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah beberapa parameter hasilnya adalah perbandingan bahan bakar – udara (ASPR) adalah f =  0,0015 kg bb/kg udara; laju bakar – udara adalah 1379,9 kg/s. laju aliran pencampuran bahan bakar – udara adalah 1381,99 kg/s. Kerja turbin (WT) adalah 13,32 spesifik (SFC) adalah 0,447 kg/KWh, Efisiensi therman turbin gas ( thermal) adalah 18,273% dan daya turibn gas yang dihasilkan ialah 19099,2 k watt atau 190992 MW.Kata kunci: Gas, energi, generasi dan listrik.

Abstract

This study presents an innovative sticker product crafted from environmentally sustainable biomaterials, designed to mitigate radiation exposure from electronic devices while enhancing the aesthetic appeal with the distinguished Banyumas batik motif. To ascertain market viability and effective consumer reception, a comprehensive segmentation analysis was conducted on a sample of 99 smartphone and laptop users. Employing cluster analysis, our findings reveal a strong consensus regarding the product's attributes, affirming its potential as a sustainable and effective anti-radiation solution. Moreover, this research underscores that customer preferences and values play a pivotal role in driving product innovation, alongside practical attributes and material performance. These insights have significant implications for product development and marketing strategies in the burgeoning field of anti-radiation technology. Highlight: Innovative Eco-Friendly Solution: This study introduces a novel sticker product made from sustainable biomaterials, offering a dual benefit of reducing radiation exposure from electronic devices and enhancing visual aesthetics with Banyumas batik design.
