Abstract

The groundwater research area is included in the Lipempuan Village area. This research was conducted using the geoelectric method, using the Schlumberger linear symmetry configuration. Measurement of the type of resistivity was carried out at 12 geoelectric points. The research method uses qualitative methods. The measurement results show a cross section of resistors of types BR33-BR34-BR35-BR36-BR40-BR42 in general shows a layer of fresh shallow groundwater at depths (1.5 - 10) m, low productive productive groundwater at depths (10 - 75) m and local shows brackish-saltwater groundwater, productive groundwater is fresh at a depth (75 - 100) m. Sectional cross sections of types BR37-BR38-BR39-BR41-BR43-BR44 generally show a layer of fresh shallow groundwater at depths (1.5 - 10) m, low productive productive groundwater at depths (10 - 50) m, productive groundwater is fresh at depth (50 - 150) m. Underground water development can be done by drilling. Underground water drilling based on the results of the analysis of resistivity data is recommended at geoelectric point estimates: BR40, BR43, BR37, BR44.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how cultural misaccommodation of rituals in local communities can occur. Bissu as a component of society comes along with negotiations to maintain the rituals and religiosity that have shaped their identity. The presence of bissu in the ritual procession is an authority that they have culturally. Throughout the history of civilisation, bissu were the main, sacred and central party in the ritual procession. However, what happened on Bone's 62nd anniversary was a moment when bissu were not involved. This article is based on data obtained from online searches. News and article searches were conducted as a basis for analysing the cultural misaccommodation of local communities. This article shows that the misaccommodation of bissu in the ritual procession is a weakening of identity and existence. The government in this case becomes the party that eliminates bissu from its roots, the dynamics of polarisation of the ruling group along with a set of laws make bissu misaccommodation a hegemony. Along with the society that places bissu as a minority party, both socially and culturally. Therefore, it is necessary to affirm the authority of bissu as a party that maintains cultural sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how Islamic concepts, symbols and values have implications for people. Especially when they must make decisions to make financial transactions in Islamic banking. Likewise, the religious trend accompanied by the spirit of city has resulted in the enthusiasm of the community to transact with institutions labelled religion in practice. Data collection used in this study was carried out by observation and distributing questionnaires to respondents (customers). Documentation studies are also conducted to find literature related to this study. There are three findings described in this study. First, the conception and symbol of religion is an essential element in the existence of Islamic banking in Indonesia. Second, the understanding of the religious community has been constructed in the decision to make economic transactions in Islamic banks. Third, the religious trend accompanied by religious zeal makes sharia banks in Indonesia have bright prospects to attract the interest of the public to transact. The enermous potential of Islamic banks in Indonesia will experience an increase if the religious values and symbols are implemented correctly and adequately. Religious construction of economic behaviour has resulted in a shift in the pattern of community transactions in the name of religion. This shift certainly provides not only positive expectations in the religious society, but also provides broad opportunities for the banking business world.

Abstract

Zakat, which is supposed to be for the alleviation of poverty, has actually been a source of problems because of the fact that the distribution has not been in line with its objectives. This current study addresses the inequality in the distribution of zakat to impoverished urban. The distribution of zakat is one of the substantial instruments for the Islamic financial ecosystem to alleviate poverty. The distribution of zakat aims to cater to impoverished communities’ needs and provide financial protection. This study relays on a descriptive qualitative research design where data were obtained through interviews and literature study. The data is used to analyse the concept of inequality in relation to poverty as a result of the unequal distribution of zakat. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of zakat is personally and unequally distributed. The unequal distribution of zakat impacts the welfare of people experiencing poverty due to inequality in selecting zakat recipients. Not merely that, zakat, which is relatively small and temporary, cannot support the productive ability of people with low incomes to achieve prosperity. Therefore, it is necessary to assert the prioritized distribution of zakat.

Abstract

The advancement of science and technology in the automotive field needs to be supported by an understanding of fuel and ignition systems to achieve optimal power output. This study aims to evaluate the compatibility of Pertalite fuel with ngk and denso spark plugs through direct recording at each stage of the research. Testing was conducted through road tests on both types of spark plugs (ngk and denso) with engine speeds ranging from 4,000 rpm to 10,000 rpm using pertalite fuel. Based on the research results, the compatibility of Pertalite fuel with ngk spark plugs was found to be better than with Denso spark plugs. The maximum torque produced by Pertalite fuel with NGK spark plugs was 9.11 nm, whereas with denso spark plugs, it was 8.51 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Meanwhile, the maximum power output using ngk spark plugs was 8.308628 hp, while with denso spark plugs, it was 8.255299 hp at 7,500 rpm.

Abstract

This study focuses on the application of a differentiated learning model in the basic subjects of office management and business services class X MPLB at SMK Wahyu 1 Makassar. This study aims to determine how a differentiated learning model is applied in the basics of office management and business services for class X at SMK Wahyu 1 Makassar. This study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach by involving research informants in data collection, namely, the head of the MPLB department, teachers of basic subjects of Office Management and Business Services, MPLB teachers, and class X students of the MPLB department. Data collection is carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques; then the data is analyzed through the process of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the application of a differentiated learning model in the basic subjects of office management and business services class X MPLB at SMK Wahyu 1 Makassar, when viewed from the three indicators, can be said to be effective. The research results for each indicator provide evidence of its effectiveness: The Preparation Stage is not effective because there is a gap between real implementation in the field which results in students' learning experiences not really reflecting real differentiated learning. The Implementation Stage has been effective because teachers have successfully demonstrated creativity in identifying students' interests through concept maps to explore initial knowledge, relate theory to students' real experiences, theoretical aspects to practice, even though limited by predetermined learning outcomes. The Evaluation Stage is effective because it shows using various forms of assessment such as pre-test and post-test to monitor students' level of understanding, as well as providing direct feedback as a form of appreciation and correction to their work results.
