Abstract

This training aims to improve students' scientific writing skills with a total of 35 participants in the Elementary School Teacher Education program at Nahdlatul Ulama University, Lampung. This training is structured in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage includes analyzing student needs, selecting appropriate training methods, and preparing the necessary materials. The implementation stage is learning to write scientific papers by students by attending training sessions, creating their own papers, and presenting the results. The evaluation stage shows that students understand, comprehend, and can manage the articles they have created well. Meanwhile, some students still experience difficulties in managing the class accounts they have created. The conclusion in the scientific writing training for students can be applied. Students acquire scientific article writing skills, which is a crucial step towards publication in reputable journals. Students develop a better understanding of the importance of writing and are enthusiastic about this training.

Abstract

The use of technology in early childhood learning still faces challenges, particularly due to teachers’ limited ability to operate interactive digital media. This condition affects the optimization of children's numeracy and cognitive development. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of teachers at TK Muslimat Tanjung Qencono in utilizing smartboards as interactive learning media. The implementation methods include socialization, training, hands-on practice, and mentoring. Evaluation is conducted through observation and comparison of abilities before and after the activity. The results show an increase in teacher competence by 82% in operating smartboards and 78% in implementing interactive learning. In addition, children's engagement in learning increases by 75%, as indicated by active participation and positive responses during the learning process. The conclusion shows that smartboard utilization training effectively improves teacher competence and the quality of interactive learning in early childhood education.
