Abstract

This study has the following objectives : 1) To test and analyze the feasibility of investment in rubber plantations in West Kalimantan, 2) To analyze the impact of investments on the level of welfare rubber rubber farmers in West Kalimantan. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach with survey method.  The data used are primary data with 60 respondents of Kubu Raya, Sintang and Ketapang. The results of the research, it turns out investments rubber plantations in West Kalimantan viable because based on the criteria Net Present Value (NPV) showed positive figures, and based on the criteria of Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C) indicates the number of 3.22, then the criteria Internal Rate of Return (IRR) showed a greater rate of return than the interest rate applicable. Welfare rubber farmers in West Kalimantan included in being seen from the level of consumption of rubber farmers, showed that the level of welfare of rubber farmers included in the group of moderate prosperity level (Criterion Gilarso) as of 60 respondents 75% indicated their food expenditure in between 40% -75% and 25% of respondents have food expenditure greater than 75% are included in the category of welfare levels are low. Abstract

The priority issues at Sungai Bakau Besar Laut (SBBL) village are about how to preserve the mangrove ecosystem in line with improving the community's economy. This is also the basis for the consideration of the PKMS Faperta UNU Kalimantan Barat in designing a mangrove ecosystem management program so that the area can have a tourist attraction, be more productive from a cultivation perspective and maintain its sustainability to support the community's economy. The aim of implementing this PKMS is as a stimulus for the people in SBBL village to play an active role in the conservation of mangrove ecosystems. In fact, it is hoped that through the AgroEduTourism design provided, it will be able to improve community welfare and contribute to accelerating mangrove rehabilitation to the surrounding area. Several solutions are offered to overcome the problems faced by partners, namely: 1) organizing training on integrated fisheries agribusiness management based on agrosilvofisheries, 2) Providing stimulus to aquaculture businesses in the form of providing fish seeds and providing starter feed. 3) Organize mangrove planting as a rehabilitation measure for degraded mangrove areas; 4) Redesigning tourist areas to make them more attractive and representative for the purpose of educational agro-tourism. The results of the PKMS carried out were the training of 15 SBBL residents to cultivate fish in an integrated manner. Provided assistance of 7500 fish breeds and feed to the training participants. The design of an agro-tourism area has been produced which has four functions, namely tourism, cultivation, education and conservation

Abstract

upplementary Feeding (PMT) is a vital service at Integrated Healthcare Centers (Posyandu) that requires balanced nutritional content and varied preparations. Therefore, training on innovative PMT preparation for healthcare cadres is essential. This community service activity aimed to develop innovative PMT based on fish and vegetable preparations, featuring balanced nutrition and an appealing taste. This activity involved eight cadres from the Sedap Malam Integrated Healthcare Center and was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage identified partner needs, while the implementation included material delivery and hands-on practice. At the end of the activity, an organoleptic test was conducted on the resulting products. The organoleptic test results showed a high acceptance rate for the fish-based PMT innovation, with an average preference score of 84.4% for taste, color, and texture. This product can serve as a solution for fulfilling toddler nutrition. Similar activities should be developed involving various parties, such as the government, universities, and the private sector.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Apakah sektor pertanian termasuk sebagai sektor unggulan di Kabupaten Kubu Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. 2) Bagaimana posisi tipologi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Kubu Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. 3) Seberapa besar kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Kubu Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun jenis penelitian menggunakan metode analisis deskriftif kualitatif. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder kuantitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian dilapangan menemukan bahwa: 1) Hasil analisis LQ dari tahun 2010-2019 menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian merupakan sebagai sektor non basis yang mana sektor tersebut bukan termasuk sebagai sektor unggulan di Kabupaten Kubu Raya. 2) Hasil analisis Tipologi Klassen dari tahun 2010-2019 menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian merupakan yang tergolong sebagai Kuadran IV yang mana sebagai sektor tertinggal. 3) Hasil analisis kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten Kubu Raya dari tahun 2010-2019, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sektor pertanian memiliki kontribusi sebesar 16,23%, angka ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten Kubu Raya cenderung kurang yang mana ini berdasarkan perhitungan klasifikasi kriteria kontribusi (10,10-20%). Maka sektor pertanian bukan merupakan sektor terbesar dalam memberikan kontribusinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai kelayakan ekonomi usahatani sayuran dengan sistem polikultur di Kelurahan Siantan Hilir, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Polikultur dipilih untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan sekaligus mendukung diversifikasi hasil pertanian. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data primer dan sekunder. Analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan biaya total, penerimaan, pendapatan bersih, serta rasio penerimaan terhadap biaya (R/C ratio). Hasil menunjukkan biaya produksi sebesar Rp5.595.514 dengan penerimaan Rp9.693.000, sehingga menghasilkan pendapatan bersih Rp4.097.486. Nilai R/C ratio 1,73 mengindikasikan bahwa usahatani sayuran berbasis polikultur layak dijalankan dan menguntungkan. Temuan ini menegaskan potensi polikultur dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan.
