Abstract

This study aimed at determining the relationship between the development of the character of cadets and the improvement of the competence of caregivers of the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic so that it can be known what competencies are needed by caregivers so that they can develop the character of cadets.  This research was conducted at the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic in April 2022 to October 2022. The method used in this study is descriptive. Descriptive is an assessment that does not use mathematical, statistical or computer models. The data collection technique uses questions in the form of questionnaires through google forms, observations made by the author, as well as interviews with cadets and caregivers of the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic. The study population was all cadets and caregivers of the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic by taking sample data as a result of responses from respondents. The data processing will use Pearson's Product Moment method to determine the correlation between character development variables and caregiver competency improvement variables. The success of a program in the implementation of Pancasila Character development requires support from various parties in its implementation.

Abstract

This research discusses the utilization of YouTube as a social media platform for enhancing brand awareness, particularly for Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya. The study aims to comprehend how YouTube is used to increase brand awareness, progressing from consumers being unaware of the brand (brand unaware) to achieving brand recognition, brand recall, and ultimately, becoming the top-of-mind choice for consumers when thinking about Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, involving data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Eight informants, including Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya's management, staff, and students who actively use YouTube, participated in the study. Interactive data analysis models and triangulation techniques were used to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya effectively utilizes YouTube to bolster brand awareness. Their strategies encompass creating and sharing high-quality video content, showcasing their activities and accomplishments, and employing tactics to increase brand recognition. Furthermore, they consistently upload relevant video content, engage with viewers, and establish emotional connections to enhance brand recall. These efforts have led to Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya becoming the top-of-mind choice among their target audience.

Abstract

Tujuan dari sosialisasi ini adalah untuk melaksanakan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satunya adalah melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Dimana output yang dihasilkan selain berupa laporan kegiatan juga membuat penelitian dan Menyusun Jurnal Ilmiah di lingkungan Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Selain itu tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada pelajar yang dalam hal ini ialah pelajar di SMK N 2 Palembang terkait dengan pengenalam  potensi diri dalam pemilihan jurusan berdasarkan multiple intelligence, agar siswa-siswi dapat lebih mengenal potensi dalam dirinya masing masing. Metode sosialisasi yang digunakan adalah paparan oleh narasumber dan diskusi dengan siswa-siswi SMK N 2 Palembang dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang . Hasil yang diperoleh dari sosialisasi ini diharapkan para peserta (pelajar) dapat lebih mengenal dan mengetahui tentang potensi diri sehingga tepat dalam pemilihan jurusan perkuliahan. Kemudian hasil dari sosialisasi ini dipublikasikan pada sosial media Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang dan Jurnal Pengabdian Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang
