Abstract

The background of the study is the existence of Fiqh Muhammadiyah and Fiqh Nahdlatul Ulama in coping with disaster, in response to the phenomenon of disasters happened in Indonesia, which has taken many victims and caused various losses. Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama are two largest Islamic community organizations in this country, so the way on managing the society is always interesting to study, including FIQH (ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE) of coping the disaster.Based on the reasons above, the backgrounds of the study are how do muhammadiyah and nahdhatul ulama apply their fiqh (islamic jurisprudence) to cope with disaster? and why do they apply their fiqh?This study is library research using qualitative design and comparing between the two fiqhs from both Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul ulama. The researcher applies Philosophical approaches, through the term epistemilogi bayani, burhani dan ‘irfani as instruments to clarify the content of both fiqhs to find the answer for both research problems above.The findings are the guideline and methodhology used both Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul ulama covered in both fiqhs; there are several differences on the Basic conceptions related to beliefs and Aqida; ethical and moral formulations and practical things. Muhammadiyah Fiqh explained in details regarding with practical procedures and steps of worship in coping with disaster, while Nahdlatul Ulama Fiqh explained only practical guidelines in coping with disaster.The other finding is related to the triple epistimology. The point of bayani on both fiqhs are relatively similar, same level and size. The point of burhani on Muhammadiyah fiqh gave deeper understanding than Nahdlatul Ulama fiqh. And the point of ‘irfani neither muhammadiyah nor Nahdlatul Ulama seem to use it. The fact of the differences refers to the basic methodology from both organizations; Muhammadiyah refers from verse and hadith, while Nahdlatul Ulama refers from aqwal ulama, although both of them refer to the verse, hadith and the decree of classical ulama (preachers)

Abstract

Ekspresi wajah memainkan peran penting dalam komunikasi non-verbal, sehingga klasifikasi ekspresi wajah menjadi topik penelitian yang signifikan dalam pengenalan pola dan visi komputer. Tantangan utama dalam klasifikasi ini adalah mengekstraksi fitur yang efektif dari citra wajah, mengingat kompleksitas informasi spasial dan frekuensi yang perlu dipertahankan. Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) dikenal mampu mempertahankan kedua jenis informasi ini, tetapi menghasilkan fitur dengan dimensi yang tinggi yang dapat meningkatkan beban komputasi dan risiko overfitting. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dan membandingkan dua metode ekstraksi fitur untuk klasifikasi ekspresi wajah: penggabungan SWT dengan Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) untuk mengurangi dimensi fitur, dan SWT saja, dengan evaluasi kinerja menggunakan Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP). Dataset CKPLUS digunakan dalam penelitian ini, di mana citra wajah melalui preprocessing termasuk histogram equalization, resize ke 48x48 piksel, konversi ke grayscale, dan denoising. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model yang menggunakan fitur dari SWT saja memberikan akurasi (95%), presisi (95%), recall (95%), dan F1-score (94%) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model yang menggunakan fitur dari kombinasi SWT dan DCT, yang menghasilkan akurasi (91%), presisi (89%), recall (91%), dan F1-score (81%). Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa dalam konteks klasifikasi ekspresi wajah, penggunaan SWT saja lebih optimal dibandingkan dengan penggabungan DCT.

Abstract

This research explores the 'Urf perspective on the Udik-Udikan tradition in marriage, focusing on two key questions: the practice of the Udik-Udikan tradition and its evaluation through the lens of 'Urf. The study aims to explain and analyze this tradition within an Islamic context. Conducted as field research in Krendowahono Village, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method, which involves data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings reveal that the Udik-Udikan tradition, where parents of the last child to marry scatter coins as a symbol of gratitude, is classified under 'Urf Fi’li (a community habit in action) and 'Urf Khās (a custom specific to a certain area and time). The tradition is deemed 'Urf Ṣhāhiḥ, meaning it is considered good and permissible within Islamic teachings, as it aligns with religious rules and emphasizes positive values.

Abstract

Traditional law enforcement often focuses on punishing perpetrators without regard to restoring victims and damaged social relationships. Restorative Justice (RJ) has emerged as an alternative that emphasizes restoring victim harm, offender responsibility, and repairing social relationships. Sukoharjo Regency implemented RJ to resolve criminal cases more humanistically and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the implementation of RJ in handling criminal cases at Sukoharjo Police, evaluate its compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assess public views on this approach. This research used a qualitative method type empirical juridical. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with police officers, victims, perpetrators, and community leaders, as well as analysis of official documents such as police reports and related regulations. The results showed that the implementation of RJ at Sukoharjo Regency was largely in accordance with the established SOPs. The mediation process is conducted transparently and involves all relevant parties. The community generally has a positive view of RJ, considering it a fairer and more efficient way to resolve criminal cases. However, there are several obstacles, such as limited trained human resources and a lack of public understanding of the RJ concept. RJ implementation at Sukoharjo District Police has successfully achieved the goals of recovery and restorative justice, although there is still room for improvement. Increased education and socialization to the community is needed, as well as additional training for police personnel to become more effective mediators. Sukoharjo Police are advised to increase RJ socialization programs, provide ongoing training for officers, and strengthen coordination with community leaders to support more optimal RJ implementation. Penegakan hukum tradisional seringkali berfokus pada penghukuman pelaku tanpa memperhatikan pemulihan korban dan hubungan sosial yang rusak. Restorative Justice (RJ) muncul sebagai alternatif yang menekankan pada pemulihan kerugian korban, tanggung jawab pelaku, dan perbaikan hubungan sosial. Di Kabupaten Sukoharjo sudah banyak pengimplementasian Restorative Justice untuk menyelesaikan perkara pidana secara lebih humanis dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi RJ dalam penanganan perkara pidana di Sukoharjo, mengevaluasi kepatuhannya terhadap Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP), serta menilai pandangan masyarakat terhadap pendekatan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan aparat kepolisian, korban, pelaku, dan tokoh masyarakat, serta analisis dokumen resmi seperti laporan kepolisian dan regulasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi RJ di Sukoharjo sebagian besar sudah sesuai dengan SOP yang ditetapkan. Proses mediasi dilakukan dengan transparan dan melibatkan semua pihak terkait. Masyarakat secara umum memiliki pandangan positif terhadap RJ, menganggapnya sebagai cara yang lebih adil dan efisien dalam menyelesaikan perkara pidana. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia terlatih dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep RJ. Implementasi RJ di Sukoharjo berhasil mencapai tujuan pemulihan dan keadilan restoratif, meskipun masih ada ruang untuk perbaikan. Diperlukan peningkatan edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, serta pelatihan tambahan bagi personel kepolisian untuk menjadi mediator yang lebih efektif.  Sukoharjo disarankan untuk meningkatkan program sosialisasi RJ, menyediakan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi petugas, dan memperkuat koordinasi dengan tokoh masyarakat untuk mendukung pelaksanaan RJ yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal and explain the use of Pegon script in the translation of the manuscript of Masā'il al-Ta'līm, one of the popular books of fiqh in Javanese pesantren. This article is the result of qualitative descriptive research using philology research methods by utilizing manuscripts, books, research results, internet sites, and journals to examine matters relating to the development of Pegon characters in the 17th century AD contained in the manuscript of Masā'il al-Ta'līm. The findings of this study: 1) in terms of age, it can be proved that this manuscript was written in the 17th century based on the numbers and letters in the calendar in the manuscript which implies that the Pegon text in the text Masā'il at-Ta'līm is a form The oldest Pegon that can still be found, 2) the shape of the Pegon letter in the 17th century there is no striking difference with the writing of Pegon today even though it only looks a little different. === Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menjelaskan penggunaan aksara Pegon dalam penerjemahan naskah Masā’il al-Ta’līm salah satu kitab fiqh yang populer di pesantren Jawa. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan metode penelitian filologi dengan memanfaatkan manuskrip, buku-buku, hasil penelitian, situs-situs internet, dan jurnal untuk menelaah hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan aksara Pegon pada abad ke-17 M yang termuat di dalam naskah Masā’il al-Ta’līm. Temuan penelitian ini: 1) dari segi usia, bisa dibuktikan bahwa naskah ini ditulis abad ke-17 M berdasarkan angka dan huruf di dalam penanggalan di dalam naskah yang berimplikasi bahwa teks Pegon di dalam naskah Masā’il at-Ta’līm ini merupakan bentuk Pegon yang paling tua yang masih bisa ditemukan, 2) bentuk huruf Pegon pada abad ke-17 tidak terdapat perbedaan yang mencolok dengan penulisan Pegon dewasa ini walaupun hanya terlihat sedikit perbedaan.
